Today on another episode of "zarator brings maxed pokemon to play", we have the ghost gym leader trying to add a legendary to his/her collection after a long time.

Zarator is good at this TLR business, having got Regice, Registeel, Regirock and Phione. Most by using stall tactics that scaried away more than one ref, haha.

The Enchanted Meadow is said to hold the mystic Eternal Flower. And the Floette that guards it. Will zarator add yet another legendary to his collection and then max it faster than you can say cowabonga? Or will this peaceful meadow show its fangs?

We should see this soon enough.

Let us begin!

Enchanted Meadow

Enchanted Meadow. It is a beautiful rolling plains in Kalos, covered in a mix of flowers and grass. It is hard to believe that such a peaceful place could hold a great secret, but the locals have sworn that they have seen a very oddly coloured Floette recently arrive in the area. With it, a large number of Pokémon have made their home in the meadow. Locals also report that in the middle of the night, large beams of light have been striking the sky. You are not too convinced that this is anything more than a shiny Floette, but it would probably be a relaxing exploration. So you decide to have a look on the behalf of the villagers...

Player Options:

a) Enter Enchanted Meadow
b) Leave Enchanted Meados
c) Do a Barrel Roll

Enchanted Meadow - Dazing Meadow
yes I am stealing iar's scenario name, sue me.

You're yet to see anything out of the ordinary so far, with most Pokemon being amiable. However, you reach a duo who seem to be surprisingly territorial. You attempt to go around them, but the Petilil and the Mime Jr. are smarter than you think, continuing to deny entry to you. Seems like you'll need to handle them before you can advance...

Well, aren't you evil.

After having Mask and Tymora trade places, your team simply demolish the poor lackeys with poison moves. They tried to attack back somehow, but that Ally Switch didn't do any favors.

In the end they both fell. And as they did you could hear a cry from the meadow itself. Well it seems that your violence didn't go unnoticed...

Feeling good to carry on with the story, you move forward when suddenly...

Of Mice and Mischief

The path weaves it's way around, traversing the meadow easily. There's many types of flowers, a wide variety of colours. You're quite surprised when out of some particularly tall yellow flowers a Dedenne pops out! You're only a little more surprised when the Dedenne managed to tackle Mask, and begins to Charge power in an ominous manner. You've no clue how something as physically weak as Dedenne managed to take Mask that far away from you either...

Dedenne used Charge! (-7en)
+1SpD!
+3BAP to Electric-typed moves!
Frosty is too lazy to post profiles so this will be adjusted in with the round summaries!

It seems that Belue Berry on has effects in ASB, so I can't really search bulbapedia for info about if it works when an attack misses.

The closest I got was Gems, so I will use them as reference. In that case Bulbapedia says: "The Gem will not be consumed if the attack misses". So I will treat this berry the same way.

Feel free to get a different ruling though.

"Forgive me!"

Kitsunoh: Shadow Sneak (Dedenne) - Chill
Fidgit: Heal Pulse (Kitsunoh) - Chill
Gengar: Clear Smog (Dedenne) - Chill

And with a swift set of orders you got rid of that pesky Dedenne while healing Mask somewhat.

As the adorable rodent fell, a strong bright light shined from somewhere for just a second. Maybe it was your imagination?

Well, you thought that for an instance. Until a sudden gust of wind blew and made you fall on your back. You could hear the wind whisper:

"you will pay...you will pay..."

But you just get up and carry on dismissing the feeling entirely, knowing that if you were hungry it would probably say "I have cake" or something like that. Just your mind playing tricks.

You pick the bottle, as the boozehead that you are, and it appears to be an Empty Potion. You realise that the lily is actually an injured Lotad, who seems to have been badly poisoned, and is very much in a weakened state. However, a Marill swims up to the Lotad, carrying a Pecha Berry, which it feeds to the Lotad. Perhaps you could apply another Potion or two to the Lotad?

Player options

a) Carry on
b) Use 1 Potion on the Lotad
c) Use 2 Potions on the Lotad
d) Fill the bottle with booze and give it to Lotad

Performance Grotto

Ahead of you, you notice some sort of elegant display going on. A Kirlia dances for a small crowd whilst a Tropius rhythmically stomps the ground to create a beat, and interested, you head down towards the performance. However, your presence in the area seems to have dispersed the crowd, and the two performers are currently both giving you an angry glare, before they start throwing attacks at you - not your team, but you. Your mons move to protect you, but it seems like you need to patch your wounds up first.

With a vicious trade of blows, you manage to defeat one of the Guardians. But without paying the price though: In an impressive show of teamwork, the guardians managed to defeat your precious Mega Gengar.

"I feel offended that you didn't even consider catching me."

Adopting a very risky "no prisioners" policy, you decide to simply attack and get rid of that Tropius. The sight of that pokemon made your blood boil a bit.

As the Tropius fell, you felt a bit uneasy. Suddenly the Meadow wasn't that peaceful and the silence wasn't soothing...but terrifying. You feel as the meadow itself was looking at you with evil intent.

Which is probably a sign that you should get going before anything happens.
