Garganacl @ Assault Vest
Ability: Purifying Salt
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Salt Cure
- Focus Punch

FORCE A SWITCH WITH SALT CURE AND THEN CAPITALIZE ON IT WITH FOCUS PUNCH!!!! AN AMOUNT OF SYNERGY ONE COULD ONLY DREAM OF HAVING!!!!!!
little late, currently in the building not the nom phase, please post again next cycle

hey guys sorry for the wait, but the builders are still trying to ensure their teams are as good as possible before posting - please be patient with us
in the meantime, why dont yall post your own take on these mons :primarina::bewear::entei::dragonite:? would love to get some inspiration and it may also help us out, thanks everyone for participating!

primarina is cool
bewear is absolute dogshit
“gouging” is cool
dnite is cool

i have most of my faith in primarina, its an underrated threat and psychium z is so tech

entei looks like it thuds into lando and pex, dnite seems interestinf but idt ur gonna get that many opportunities to use fly and get 25% back to multiscale, very rarely r u gonna get +6 and manage to break through the team with dnite either way.
bewear… BAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAHHAAHHAH

this mon sucks

More Than Just A Name: Flynite HO
:dragonite: :glimmora: :ogerpon-wellspring: :iron crown: :ursaluna: :kartana:

this mon broke me.
dragonite.png

Just The Same @ :leftovers:
Ability: Inner Focus
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 30 HP / 252 Atk / 22 Def / 204 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Substitute
- Stone Edge
- Fly

this mon is not good. evs are to outspeed mlop at +1, max attack for ferro and rest in defense. running inner focus to beat lando and dropped roost for sedge to not instalose to zapdos. if i keep looking at this mon i get irrationally angry

glimmora.png

Only Solutions @ :focus-sash:
Ability: Toxic Debris
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Mortal Spin
- Power Gem
- Earth Power

it's lead glimmora, not much to say about it. set rocks and be annoying

ogerpon-wellspring.png

No Line in MIDI @ :wellspring-mask:
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Ivy Cudgel
- Power Whip
- Superpower

flynite needs consistent performers to back it up, since it's really unreliable (because its bad). pon helps it out very well by just being a dependable mon, force switches and get sd reads to close games

ironcrown.png

Ani Mevushal @ :booster-energy: (this is also the best song from the album hands down)
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 84 HP / 172 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 20 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Stored Power
- Focus Blast
- Iron Defense

every HO team worth its salt has a good sp sweeper, and I chose crown for this one due to its inherent high speed, valueable steel typing for lele and general consistency.

ursaluna.png

Freedom Bill @ :flame-orb:
Ability: Guts
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 116 HP / 72 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Facade
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch

mainly here to force trades and pick up a ko or two, helps loads into stall mus too since tera normal facade does absurd damage

kartana.png

Splicon @ :normalium-z: (that's normal z)
Ability: Beast Boost
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Giga Impact
- Swords Dance
- Leaf Blade
- Sacred Sword

great into offensive teams, especially with crown. normal Z smacks zapdos for lethal damage and can also catch lando off guard, snowballs really fast and can be hard to deal with

(sorry if this is a little short this mon just exhausted me so much i can't be bothered to write about it more)

:Primarina: :weavile: :landorus-Therian: :iron crown: :lopunny-mega: :dragonite:
Alright this is my team, and it works well enough. Basically, how the team works is that you stack multiple pex weaks and you lure / weaken them with psychic z pnoise prim. I’m very much sorry this was late; I was building for invitational stuff and I didn’t have the motivation to work on a team I wouldn’t even consider use for it lol, so that’s why I didn’t test it much over other teams I built.

:primarina: :psychium z: : Tbh, I’m not a fan of this prim set because it’s not torrent and that’s what gives prim actually good trading capabilities + hits pex with pnoise and a free item slot but it does have 1 funny use case in that it completely turns the tables on a seemingly horrible pex mu, allowing for prim to lure it in and allowing stuff like band Weav or mlop to go nuts. Besides that it does usual prim things in weakening down balances early to mid game but the difference is it breaks down pex balances a little easier. Here is the pex calc:
+1 252+ SpA Primarina Shattered Psyche (140 BP) vs. 248 HP / 48 SpD Toxapex: 350-414 (115.5 - 136.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

:Weavile: because this Prim suffers against gking a lot (one of the reasons I don’t like the set), this is the ideal choice for a teammate. It also benefits from prim luring in pex which is cool. It pursuits stuff like Ogerpon-w, iron crown, and the aforementioned gking which makes prim’s job a little easier. Besides that, it clicks knock into stuff like ferro and corv which makes prim more threatening since it doesn’t have truely powerful water stab.

:landorus-therian: :iron crown: Lumping these 2 together because they are the defensive glue of the team, and there’s not much to say about them.. Lando is the obligatory ground which stops volt switch spam from happening which is good and also provides a rlly nice temporary check into stuff like gouging and mlop which is nice for offense. We are fast taunt Lando to capitalize on getting the jump on bolt which is good for prim and to deny hazards and whatnot. Crown is our steel and provides a fairy resist which helps against lele and ival among other things like koko, which helps out Weav a lot on top of future sight + pivot support. Both provide a nice defensive backbone to fall on for prim’s… pretty low longevity and ability to be overwhelmed easily. Also, both are nice countermeasures into bolt together and insure the team doesn’t lose to stuff like lop, koko, or ival.

:lopunny-mega: I was coping with the loss of zama as speed control but this is still a rlly good pokemon in its own right. Its speed control which is good but it also improves offense mirrors / ho, including field effect offenses like rain and sun, tenfold. It’s also good offensively, demolishing dark stuff like Weav and Darkrai while also threatening Ferrothorn for prim. What makes lop especially dangerous here is that prim sets up or lures two of mlop’s / weav’s better checks in pex and mola which then improves lop’s already good offensive prowess.

:dragonite: This thing is such good glue for offensive teams it’s unreal. It provides a check to many things like heatran, Volcarona, Ogerpon-W, rain, sun, you name it. Although the sets have been pretty self explanatory so far, this one isn’t as obvious so I’ll explain it. Ice spinner helps not lose to Lando and Glisc while dwb helps ko stuff like woger and mlop which is important because this doesn’t have roost. Tera steel also exploits stuff like mola and Weav super well which is cool against bulky offenses. Beating fires and waters also eases prim’s susceptibility to falter to them long term despite its resists to them, while dnite also being a good check to Kartana, Ogerpon-W, and serp for prim. In return, prim can lure in pex while also baiting in dragon moves from chomp and gouging which makes them much more easy to play around.

Once again, I’m sorry for being late. I’ll do better to get something up earlier next time.

apologies for the long wait Medasus, here's your Entei team

Demon Days (check out the album)
:entei: :garganacl: :corviknight: :alomomola: :raging bolt: :lopunny-mega:

:entei: Featured mon on the team, Tera Fire Sacred Fire hits like a truck and you have decent coverage in Stone Edge + Stomping Tantrum alongside Extreme Speed to clean up against the offensive onslaught in the tier. Its biggest issue is its lack of longevity, which this team aims to fix with Wish support as well as Defog from Corv.

:garganacl: This may seem like an interesting pairing, but Garganacl spreads so much chip damage with Salt Cure that Entei can easily pick off weakened threats lategame with Extreme Speed as well as secure some KOs with Sacred Fire after Rocks. It's also a decent enough defensive piece on its own.

:corviknight: Standard Defogger, nothing much to see here. A nice Ground immunity as well for the two previous Ground-weak mons.

:alomomola: Good defensive typing alongside a safe pivot and Wish support for Entei allows Alo to fit perfectly on this sort of team.

:raging bolt: Good offensive breaking power as well as providing a stopgap against Waterpon and a lot of threats to the team in general. It also helps against bothersome Waters for Entei like Pex / Alo / Dozo.

:lopunny-mega: Premier speed control as well as another cleaner, it fit well here just to guarantee some sort of damage against a lot of the tier after Entei breaks defensive cores down.

CYCLE 8 NOW OPEN FOR SUBMISSION
Hey everybody, we may still have a few more teams rolling in but cycle 8 is now open for set submission.
You have until July 15th to post sets for the next cycle of voting, good luck everybody lets keep the shiest rolling in!

Raging Bolt @ Choice Specs
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 76 HP / 48 Def / 252 SpA / 132 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 20 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt / Thunderclap
- Draco Meteor
- Weather Ball / Thunderclap / Tera Blast

Specs Bolt is UNDERATED! Specs Volt Switch spam does a huge chunk to mons who don't expect it. Tclap gives priority, whereas, tbolt gives more damage output. Draco is a button to click when the fairies and steels are gone, and weather ball paired with Slowking-G's snow provides good coverage for ground types. Tera Blast Fairy can provide defensive utility vs dragon types and give coverage for stuff like Iron Valiant, Darkrai, M-TTar (a lot of chip) and opposing Raging Bolts.

Xurkin off (Xurkitree) @ Electrium Z
Ability: Beast Boost

Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rising Voltage
- Energy Ball
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Electric Terrain

you want some real heat?

Parasect @ Leftovers
Ability: Dry Skin
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 208 Def / 44 Spe
Impish Nature
- Spore
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Leech Life

Parasect provides something you don’t see in a lot of pokemon, that being it hard walls ogerpon wellspring. It absorbs Ivy cudgel with dry skin, quad resists grass moves, and resists superpower, another common move on ogerpon. The speed EVs allow it to outspeed regular 0 speed ev Toxapex, so it can then spore it if needed. It also reasonably handles urshifu, landorus, and rillaboom, aside from a glaring weakness to uturn, which it can still usually handle decently. Moveset is somewhat inspired by the subspore variant of breloom, but slightly different. It still runs substitute for longevity and leech seed for more passive recovery, spore for would be switch ins, and leech life for passive damage with 95 base attack, and a way of handling rilla and pon. It can stop alomamola from flip turning, and can usually take at least one attack from strong offensive megas like mawile and lopunny, and threatens spore back. On top of all of this, it pretty much shuts down rain teams being able to switch into both mega swampert and Barraskewda. Here are a few calcs I collected revolving this parasect set:

  • 252 Atk Wellspring Mask Ogerpon-Wellspring Power Whip vs. 248 HP / 208+ Def Parasect: 48-57 (14.8 - 17.6%) -- possible 9HKO after Leftovers recovery

  • +2 252 Atk Wellspring Mask Ogerpon-Wellspring Superpower vs. 248 HP / 208+ Def Parasect: 128-151 (39.6 - 46.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
  • 252 Atk Wellspring Mask Ogerpon-Wellspring Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 248 HP / 208+ Def Parasect: 105-124 (32.5 - 38.3%) -- 98% chance to 3HKO
  • 8 Atk Parasect Leech Life vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Ogerpon-Wellspring: 194-230 (64.4 - 76.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
  • 252 Atk Urshifu-Rapid-Strike U-turn vs. 248 HP / 208+ Def Parasect: 134-158 (41.4 - 48.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
  • 252 Atk Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Close Combat vs. 248 HP / 208+ Def Parasect: 85-101 (26.3 - 31.2%) -- 12.5% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
  • 252+ Atk Choice Band Rillaboom U-turn vs. 248 HP / 208+ Def Parasect: 214-252 (66.2 - 78%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery and Grassy Terrain recovery

  • 252+ Atk Choice Band Rillaboom Wood Hammer vs. 248 HP / 208+ Def Parasect in Grassy Terrain: 88-104 (27.2 - 32.1%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery and Grassy Terrain recovery

  • 252 Atk Landorus-Therian Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 208+ Def Parasect: 38-45 (11.7 - 13.9%) -- possibly the worst move ever
  • 0 Atk Landorus-Therian U-turn vs. 248 HP / 208+ Def Parasect: 122-144 (37.7 - 44.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
  • 252 Atk Lopunny-Mega Return vs. 248 HP / 208+ Def Parasect: 150-177 (46.4 - 54.7%) -- 8.2% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

  • 252+ Atk Choice Band Barraskewda Close Combat vs. 248 HP / 208+ Def Parasect: 90-106 (27.8 - 32.8%) -- 78.7% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

192px-1013Sinistcha.png

Sinistcha @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Heatproof
Tera Type: Poison / Water / Fairy
EVs: 160 HP / 252 SpA / 96 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stun Spore
- Strength Sap
- Matcha Gotcha
- Hex

Requesting this status + Hex Sinistcha. Enough speed for max neutral base 50's, max SpA to increase Hex damage. This set is really cool because it can surprise common switch-ins like Heatran and Charizard-Y with paralysis and OHKO or 2HKO them with Rocks up. Either Stun Spore or Matcha Gotcha for the burn chance, heal with Strength Sap. It has good synergy with other status users and could be a good spin blocker since it forces switches with its status moves, so pairing it with Spikes/Toxic Spikes could be cool.

252+ SpA Sinistcha Hex (130 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Heatran: 153-181 (39.6 - 46.8%) -- 0.4% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252+ SpA Sinistcha Hex (130 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Charizard-Mega-Y: 196-232 (65.9 - 78.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Sinistcha Hex (130 BP) vs. 252 HP / 76 SpD Gouging Fire: 217-256 (52.4 - 61.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Sinistcha Hex (130 BP) vs. 252 HP / 216 SpD Ferrothorn: 163-193 (46.3 - 54.8%) -- 64.5% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery and burn damage
252+ SpA Sinistcha Hex (130 BP) vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Venusaur-Mega: 190-225 (52.3 - 61.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after burn damage
252+ SpA Sinistcha Hex (130 BP) vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Volcarona: 213-252 (57.1 - 67.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Sinistcha Hex (130 BP) vs. 248 HP / 128 SpD Scizor-Mega: 195-231 (56.8 - 67.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Sinistcha Hex (130 BP) vs. 56 HP / 0 SpD Kyurem: 243-286 (60 - 70.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

0 SpA Heatran Magma Storm vs. 160 HP / 0 SpD Heatproof Sinistcha: 164-194 (50.7 - 60%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after trapping damage
252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Scorching Sands vs. 160 HP / 0 SpD Tera Poison Sinistcha: 214-254 (66.2 - 78.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 SpA Volcarona Flamethrower vs. 160 HP / 0 SpD Heatproof Sinistcha: 182-216 (56.3 - 66.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
200 SpA Kyurem Freeze-Dry vs. 160 HP / 0 SpD Tera Poison Sinistcha: 133-157 (41.1 - 48.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

I TOLD Y’ALL I’D GET A SUB IN.

:ss/Banette-Mega:
JOKER (Banette-Mega) @ Banettite
Ability: Prankster
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Poltergeist
- Taunt
- Destiny Bond

I haven’t done any testing, but I can see this set pulling a ton of hilarious interactions. Swords Dance can surprise common defensive switch ins(like when their wincon is scared of Encore) like Lando, which certainly does not like tanking a +1 Poltergeist. Continuing, Poltergeist is generally an extremely strong move to click, firing off 110 BP STAB moves off of a huge base 165 attack. Furthermore, Taunt can be really annoying for said defensive mons like defoggers and stray Toxics that can try to chip down Banette, alongside forcing wincons to hit Banette, just Encore but with a little less utility in change for stopping rocks, defogs, and toxic. Destiny Bond does what Destiny Bond does.

(add this as a funny option for stuff like hazardstacks+fighting types like Urshifu)

Kleavor @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sharpness
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Axe
- X-Scissor
- Close Combat
- U-turn / Psycho Cut

Quick summary: Kleavor has a surprisingly high attack stat along with a pretty good ability in sharpness. Jolly + Scarf lets you outspeed a lot of stuff and grab some nice kos. Tera fighting lets you ohko spdef heatran with cc (94% of the time at least) and it trades the rock weakness for a resist as well as removing water/steel weaknesses. The main thing this has going for it other than just being able to outspeed everything that isn't boosted in some way is the ability to get up rocks and get a good amount of damage off at the same time. X-Scissor is boosted by sharpness so it's Kleavor's strongest move (tied with tera fighting cc though). CC hits steels that would wall otherwise. Uturn lets you pivot out of bad matchups since this isn't having an easy time breaking most defensive pokemon. Alternatively, Psycho Cut is boosted by sharpness and hits fighting and poison types.

Tldr: This gives you rocks without needing to use rocks, it does decent damage, and choice scarf makes it kinda sorta fast-ish.

https://pokepast.es/eb20ff973816307c
haven't done much testing with this since my main is quite high ladder and i dont have any midladder alts but the team should work fine.

as for those saying "the team loses to stall",

252+ Atk Choice Band Sharpness Tera Rock Kleavor Stone Axe vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Dondozo: 236-278 (46.8 - 55.1%) -- 69.5% chance to 2HKO

you're welcome evelynite
Would you recommend running earthquake or earth power on treads?

Would you recommend running earthquake or earth power on treads?
I prefer earthquake here just for more damage against Iron Crown. I had earth power before but I decided to change it back to earthquake since I was struggling with AV Crown. It still does more damage than earth power does anyway and you have steel beam for things that have high physical bulk like tusk
