NOC The Mafia Invitational (Game Thread) [D2 Deadline: Friday, March 2nd, 6 PM EST]

Going to try and do a stream-of-consciousness type catchup, since I feel like we have enough content that a full readthrough would be pretty good + I want to give people a chance to see my thought process and see where I'm coming from, with regards to my reads.
DLE voting people that are actually not in the game is making me raise an eyebrow, because it feels like he's afraid to commit to an actual vote in RVS.
Metal Sonic - you repeatedly say that Josh has a "good scum game" and using that to handwave arguments for him being town, I feel. Can you give me links to his scum games? I like to think that I've been playing mafia long enough to figure anybody out given enough time. I've never played with Josh so giving me a meta baseline would be great.
Will be looking at Empoof more as the thread goes on, but fine fencesitting on him for now while I keep reading his posts.

Why are you acting like this? I do recognize that you did it in the last game we played together but.. I don't exactly recall it being as pronounced as this?
This is definitely easily fakeable, but gun to head I think Josh is more likely town than not because I see town say that they're town more than I see scum do it in RVS. Very loose read but fine to start with, I feel?

Kind of conflicted about this post - like the energy and passion with it, but I can't help but think the VICIOUS COUNTERPOINTS is sort of intentionally played up.

I weirdly like the first part of this post. Don't think scum!Knights even thinks to post the "trying to put myself in yeti's mindset" if he's scum?
also still don't like DLE's posts, they feel kind of out of thread sync if that makes sense

knights could be pocketing me here but I feel like this is read he doesn't make as scum? though if he's scum i feel like he tries to buddy me moreso than get on my bad side, because he has seen me play before

It's something I don't think scum thinks up unless they're trying to get townread for the most elaborate reasons, and it's something that attracts a lot of attention early and maybe not for the right reasons
I don't know enough about Josh to figure out if he'd do this as scum but at face value it seems pretty bad if he's scum? Like he could just keep playing normally if he's scum rather than try this elaborate fruit vendor gambit which..
1) not sure what it accomplishes if Josh is scum other than being townread because wine
2) host meta/modgaming to this extent, imo, is pretty unheard of and is bound to get you in a lot of trouble if you're town, if the mod has anti-modgaming measures in their setup? also it feels fairly sketchy to use comments made by the mod in order to speculate about the setup - it's something i've never really done in my years of playing mafia for that reason
