Non Standard Rules:
  • Battles will be played in [Gen 7] Custom Game so that every Pokemon gets Metronome
    • Make sure your mega Pokemon is the normal form. Don't start the game with a pre-mega'd Pokemon
    • Fill only one moveslot with metronome. Reasoning
    • Don't go over 508 EVs
    • Similarly, don't go over level 100.
  • Banlist: Standard SM Pokebank OU banlist + Protean + Cursed Body + Shedinja
  • Every pokemon can use the move Metronome and only Metronome. Duh.
    • Don’t any move that isn’t Metronome
  • No switching (embrace the struggle)
  • Teams are limited to one Steel-type per team.
  • You can use any item allowed in SuMo OU
Standard Tournament Rules:
  • Best of 3, single elimination (battles shouldn't take long since it's not like you're thinking hard about each move each turn)
  • Replays must be posted by the winner
  • Signups will be on a first-come first-serve basis
  • Do not make baseless activity posts, get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only.

Battle Clauses
  • Species Clause. You cannot use the same Pokemon twice on the same team. For example, you cannot use two Infernape.

Since we're playing in Custom Game, does that mean we can give max EVs to all mons? I don't see a rule against that.

Question: If you roll the move Imprison, are we supposed to switch then? Imprison doesn't go away until you switch, and you locked every single pokemon into a struggle fest until you win/lose

Accidentally brought 2 steels g1, and i offered to play another but opp said he was fine with it

Also got rolled imprison g1 before I was given an answer on whether I could switch or not, so I just switched because I thought imprison rolls were just bullshit in metronome battles
