I got Houston to win it all this year. The reason they didnt get past Utah last year in the finals was because they didnt get any bench production. In Game 4, I think they only got like 4 points off the bench. They probably could have beaten Golden State too with a health Tmac. This year they can only get better with all their guards helping and Luis Scola on the boards to help Yao.

Ok so Luis Scola has to start now and Landry is a really big boost from the bench. I still think they could go far in the playoffs, without Yao. They are riding a 14 game winning streak and if they beat Denver without Yao, then they are for real. Without Yao, it is kind of a blessing in disguise. They can actually play Adelman offense, but Yao's defense is missing. Dikembe helps with that though. He's 40 years old but he got 14 rebounds the other day. That is ridiculous! Hope Lakers beat Mavs, so we can have the oppurtunity to take the 6th playoff spot.

The trades that would do a lot of teams good.

Bulls Get:
Paul Pierce

Celtics Get:
Kirk Hinrich
Luol Deng
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Bucks Get:
Dwyane Wade

Heat Get:
Charlie Villanueva
Michael Redd
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pacers get:
Tracy McGrady

Rockets get:
Jermaine O'Neal
Jamaal Tinsley

Anyone agree with this? post some of your own needed trades here.

Arenas has been cleared to practice and Butler will be back within a week or two.

I kind of like the fact that nobody's talking about this team that, with basically 7-8 healthy players, we've won 4 of 6 with two wins over New Orleans (we seem to have their number I swear) and should be 5 of 6 if not for some bad coaching and some garbage LeBron non-calls

I mean, when Atlanta and Philly get more attention league-wide than Washington...(trust me, the average fan can name more players on Atlanta, Philly or even Indiana's roster than they can on Washington's roster)

Your Tracy McGrady trade proposal is utterly ridiculous (Jermaine O'Neal is a non factor in the league at this point!!). The Dwayne Wade one is not 'ridiculous', but it is still one that should not happen if just for fan reasons. I do like the Paul Pierce swap, but that is one that would not happen because of fan reasons (and Paul Pierce being so exceedingly loyal to the team).

I could always imagine kirk hinrich and luol in a Celts uniform, i can also imagine Paul in a bulls uniform.

Personnaly, the jermaine o'neal trade was just a thought that came up to my head, because when he was still playing, he packed a punch. let's not forget jamaal tinsley also performed well, and even dominated 2 daily top 10s.

The Dwyane wade proposal was someone else's idea, but it said only redd for wade. so i decided to add Villanueva; however, it'll hurt me seeing the team that beat the Mavs in 06 getting torn apart.

Wow, I'm in shock that the Rockets keep on winning without Yao Ming! They could possibly be a playoff threat after all! I'm exciting thinking about the Rockets going past the first round of playoffs this year!

*frowns at shameless boast*

WOW, 18 in a row! I don't remember what the all-time record is for a consecutive winning streak, but they gotta be close. Them being 6-0 without Yao Ming is what's making this winning streak quite impressive!

Record is '71-'72 Lakers at 33 wins.

Edit: What's up with the 'LOS' on the uniforms?

lol at miami, what a BLATANT tank move they just did.

Random prediction time:
Philly will be over .500 and make the playoffs
Denver will miss the playoffs, they just whine to much
Atlanta will get the final playoff spot cause bibby will get them there
Celts get #1 out east
LA gets #1 out west barely above san antonio
Arenas will miss the rest of the season, just to be dramatic and play in the playoffs
Butler is better then arenas anyway, and will come back in a week or so

god a LA/Boston final would be so awesome, possibly the highest rated nba final of all time awesome

La/Boston may have been before my time, but I am sick of hearing about it already.

Houston's breaking 20, maybe even win against the Lakers?

I can't wait till it's playoff time, I see the cavs going far, and regardless of how well the Pistons and Celtics are playing(which is very well), I think that the cavs have the best shot of upsetting them and returning to the finals.

James has been fucking ridiculous these last 5 games, average somewhere along the lines of 40 points a game. Oh yeah, and he's 23.

Life is good in Ohio, or should I say Cleveland, the best city in the nation that has the best sports teams.

How were they Spanish uniforms? Sol is Spanish for sun, those uniforms were simply retarded.

MoP, it is not LeBron's fault that Carlos Boozer is a jerk!
