Crustle @ leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Stone Edge
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes

Nothing fancy about this set. Just a fat hazard setter that can come in a few times throughout a match and get up a few hazards without getting easily spinned on by Cryo or deffoged on by Vullaby.

Crustle @ Choice Band
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- X-Scissor
- Knock Off
- Rock Blast

Trades sweeping potential for immeadiate wallbreaking. Last move is mostly filler, but Rock Blast does help against stuff like SubWisp Rotom-F.

special thanks to RawMelon and TONE114 for the snipes thanks guys

So I was thinking about a set, since Tone and RawMelon sniped me, right? So I think about the most cash, technically viable set it can run. I was gonna go with the curse set, but without sand, it's really not bulky enough. Eventually, I found this:

Crustle @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 88 HP / 252 Atk / 168 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Curse/Swords Dance

- Rock Blast
- Knock Off/X-Scissor

This set is cash, heat, and flames, rolled into one set. It sets up versus many defensive threats, such as Gourgeist-XL, and can actually beat it 1v1, with some prior damage. Curse almost always beats Gourgeist with Curse; Foul Play and Seed Bomb never break its sub. On a side note, if running curse, I would recommend a spread of 252 HP / 88 Atk / 168 SpDef, to more safely avoid masive damage from things like Roselia's Giga Drain.

Crustle @ Leftovers
Ability: Shell Armor
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Rock Blast
- Curse
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Rest/talk is pretty self explanatory, max hp/spd to off set crustle's meh spd which will be the failing in this set. Shell armor over sturdy to prevent fishing for crits while boosting with curse. Once special water and fires are dealt with this set pretty much crawls over the meta very slowly. Rock blast for stab to break subs and sashes as well as hitting more often then stone edge, stone edge or rock slide could also be used but the acc of blast/slide is needed. Rock stab has the added bonus of having no immunities to worry about.

I WAS COMPOSING MY POST AND LIKE 5 PEOPLE POSTED THIS SET SO SHHH

Krab (Crustle) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature

- Stealth Rock
- Rock Blast
- Knock Off / Spikes
- Toxic

Even though Crustle is usually used as a suicide lead due to its bad defensive typing, I really like this set. It beats a few Pokemon that normal Crustle can not beat. Besides that, it is probably outclassed by Golem but still its a fun surprise set.

Plus these calcs:
This set: 252+ SpA Choice Specs Chatot Boomburst vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Crustle: 147-173 (46.9 - 55.2%) -- 15.6% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

vs.

Normal: 252+ SpA Choice Specs Chatot Boomburst vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Crustle: 188-222 (66.9 - 79%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

It's barely a switch-in, but it does OHKO with Rock Blast :p so just good enough

0 SpA Roselia Giga Drain vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Crustle: 70-84 (20.3 - 24.4%) -- guaranteed 5HKO

Easy.

and on, i'm too lazy to find more calcs zzz[/calc]

Crustle @ Custap Berry
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Counter
- Rock Blast
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake / Spikes

Basically you give up one of Crustle's moveslots, but thanks to Sturdy, Crustle can live pretty much any physical hit and strike back with Counter; this especially helps against Stone Edge Golem, as you go right through it with Counter. Not a good set, but definitely a fun one.

Crustle @ Salac Berry
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Shell Smash
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Endure

Once you've taken care of all priority users, simply set-up a Shell Smash lategame and sweep. If the opponent tries to revenge you with a Scarf User you can use Endure for guaranteed activation of Salac Berry, and now you outspeed them! You may not even need to use Endure if you set up against something who hits super effectively, or just retardedly strong like Beheeyem.

Crustle @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 176 Def / 84 Spe
Impish Nature
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Knock Off
- X-Scissor/Stone Edge

I know some people have posted sets which have either Substitute or Toxic, but I chose to make a subtoxic one. The given spread allows Crustle to outspeed 8 speed Gourgeist-Super and the rest of the EVs are thrown into physical bulk. Knock Off is used to remove items, which helps when Toxic stalling since you remove lefties and stuff. X-Scissor or Stone Edge are the last slot, the former having more pp and hitting mons reliably while the latter hits harder and can deal with flying or fire types.

Ability: Shell Armor
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Hone Claws
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge
So this is a set I've been trying out and it's been really cool. Hone Claws sets are rather unexplored on Crustle but are effective if you play them right; the best time to set up is either behind a Substitute, when you predict a switch, or when you are certain that the foe won't be able to do a lot of damage to Crustle. The coverage options are up to you, but I chose Knock Off and Stone Edge. Knock Off provides awesome utility, removing the Eviolite from Gourgeist-XL and Tangela. Speaking of these two Pokemon, the EV spread outspeeds them both before they Will-O-Wisp it and Sleep Powder it respectively. Stone Edge greatly benefits from the accuracy boost and is used to hit Flying-types but also any Pokemon that doesn't resist it. Alternatively, Earthquake can be used over Knock Off to create an EdgeQuake combo, and X-Scissor can also be used although it doesn't hit anything notably. The given EV spread retains some bulk for Crustle and maximises its Attack stat so that it becomes an absolute monster after a boost or two. The 136 Speed EVs outspeed Vullaby and the Pokemon mentioned above so that Crustle can get behind a Sub as soon as possible. Of course this set isn't very easy to pull off; even when investing in it, Crustle's Speed is rather abysmal and this means it is countered by faster Pokemon which can use it as set-up fodder if it doesn't have any coverage to hit them. Thunder Wave, Trick Room, and Sticky Web support is appreciated so that Crustle can outspeed more Pokemon. Crustle doesn't have anything to hit Water-types except for Knock Off which isn't anything special, resulting in them having a very easy time against it. Therefore, checks to these Pokemon are appreciated. Roselia does this rather effectively and also provides Spikes / Toxic Spikes which alleviates the pressure off Crustle since it doesn't have to set up as much to KO compared to it if entry hazards were not present. Zebstrika and Rotom-Frost are also Water-type checks, the latter providing Will-O-Wisp support to cripple physical attackers. Finally, Lumineon can switch into Water-type attacks, and also Defog's away entry hazards from both sides of the field, allowing Crustle to switch-in safely without worrying about taking damage.

EDIT: Whoopsie forgot the calcs.

- Specs Chatot: (276.4 - 325.5%)
- Purugly: (109.1 - 128.6%)
- Tank Bouff: (57.5 - 67.9%)
- Non-Colbur Grumpig: (116.7 - 137.8%)
- Ursaring: (85 - 100.3%)
- Solrock: (65.6 - 77.3%)
- Stoutland: (76.2 - 89.7%)
