Ehhh. Most Democratic voters I know liked Bernie. The elites didn’t of course. It was always about Bernie’s general election viability, and him not being active in the party.
Maybe, but that’s not what I’m saying. The point is Biden can’t fund a whole small-donor only campaign the way Bernie could. He doesn’t have the juice to run with approval ratings, Union/Progresive group endorsements and $25 donations alone. That might have been possible, but it would have required governing and communicating entirely differently.
edit: And of course Bernie was only able to campaign that way because he had the endurance to make up the dollars. If you can’t get as much Paid, you need more owned and earned media by going on all the podcasts, YouTube shows, etc etc.

I think it's really odd how in left circles, calling out Hunter for the menace to society he is is condemned. Guy is a legit threat, the fact that he tries sooo hard to fuck his dead brother's wife is already insane, and that's the least of his crimes
If his father wasn't who he was and didn't launch a psyop with aliens being confirmed by the white house from a "whistleblower" when he got into legal issues the last time, he would've long died in prison
This is because the right loves to treat Joe as guilty by association and use Hunter's crimes as a springboard for conspiracies. If I had a dollar for every time I've heard the phrase "Biden crime family," I'd be rich enough to run for President. Often, it's hard to separate the good faith from the bad.

this rly is like a microcosm of the embarrassment that is bourgeois amerikan political discourse, hunter biden is being criticized not for using the president's power as leverage in negotiating business deals but for struggling with substance use; and president biden who is directly responsible for incarcerating tens of millions of mostly black victims of a crack epidemic (that we 'officially' know was coordinated by the CIA to both disrupt black and indigenous organizing and to fund its insurgent activities to establish and or prop up far-right dictatorships in centroamérica), is attacked for somehow not being sufficiently punitive toward the many ppl who still struggle w crack addiction today.

I don't understand how after everything you've said you're suddenly so defeatist. Shouldn't we be gathering around Kamala and her running mate? You say Project 2025 is a threat to democracy, so where is the fight you had for Biden? Why are you not supporting the candidate he just endorsed? Bernie supporters supported Hillary 10:1 in 2016 and even more for Biden in 2020. Why are you not doing the same? You should have the same vigor and energy you had for Biden even though he's no longer on the ticket. She's going to continue his policies either way. And to be clear, I don't mean support as in vote. I know you will vote for her. I just don't understand your behavior when she was his literal running mate. Not to mention, read the room. People seem overly optimistic about Kamala in November. Her AIPAC comments are disgusting and I don't know if I'll vote for her but I'm far more optimistic than she can beat Trump than I was with Biden, and it appears most Democrats are too.
It's just incredibly weird seeing you act as though this is somehow your first election, being unhappy with a choice that you had no say in, when that's quite literally how most Americans feel every election. Get back to telling people to vote for Kamala the same way you were for Biden.
