Because he was already old as dirt in 2020. Y'all seen the pics of Obama before and after 8 years as president.
Now the man is coming apart at the seams and the Democrats are panicking instead of rallying behind him anyway because it's too late to sub him out.
Everyone knew from the jump Biden's age and low-energy would be called into question and they still didn't prepare for it.
The voters didn’t care. He was old in 2020. He was old in the 2024 primary. Now suddenly, some Democrats are shitting on themselves about it. That is their problem.
I agree. Since Bernie was unfortunately prosecuted for this very same thing I say we let him take Biden's place. Give the old guy a chance since he doesn't have much time left.
Bernie is never going to be President. Accept it. And your “punishment” for Democrats is supporting fascism.
it's interesting isn't it? even now I find it very confusing there was such a visceral reaction to trump's election. perhaps there was still some faith in the democrat establishment then or maybe it was just before people realized a trump presidency couldn't be that bad. I don't know!
What do you mean the guy that the DNC campaigned against for 8 years won't be president? I'd also like to apologize to the Democrats. I was not actively trying to punish them. I'm surprised they know about me at all but I guess my reputation on the Smogon forums is bigger than I thought.
Anyway, interesting that I'm supporting fascism by wanting a candidate nearly guaranteed to lose to Trump to step down in favor of someone that is more favorable while simultaneously continuing the administrations policies. Did Allan Lichtman write a keys to fascism as well?
Bernie Sanders will not be President. The rest of the world has accepted it. You can join us in reality at some point.

Would bernie even be considered if biden stepped down though. The dems did make sure he got nowhere last time. Feels more like it'd be a kamala or bill takeover if it came to that, but I think it's either too late or they'll keep flipflopping and not deciding so it'll be biden as the candidate anyway. or he'll die from covid I guess. Weirder things have happened at this point 
This isn't even politics anymore but now i keep thinking what the fuck would have happened if trumps attempt worked and biden did die from covid. Kamala vs Who... ron desantis???? fucking tim scott? ben shapiro with the steel chair? put my boy ben shapiro on there i want to see him try to debate with anyone that has actual competency in the art of debating instead of broke college 20 year olds

It is fascinating that despite 82 year old Bernie Sanders supporting Biden’s candidacy in two consecutive elections, his name is still being floated as a replacement option. Bernie Sanders has moved on, why haven’t his supporters?

I get it. Politics can be hilarious, especially with all the active grifters in 2024. Rumor is Nate Silver is involved in a “Biden drop out” betting scheme.
This is all funny until one realizes politics are literally life and death. Trumps victory led to over a million covid-19 deaths, abortion being criminalized among a number of states, and probably 70 years of progressive rights being reversed. But at least we can all laugh about Hillary Clinton’s loss.

They can be discussed but taking what they say as word for word truth instead of at least trying to understand that literal state propaganda is expected to be full of lies is foolish and doesn't really result in good political discussion. Both times those two countries were brought up they were quoted verbatim unironically using literal propaganda as facts. This is exactly as garbage as quoting Benjamin Netanyahu as proof that Israel is misrepresented, or just watching a Putin interview and walking away saying Russia launched a war of conquest in self defense. Or you know, just listening to Trump for like 5 minutes.
When the leaders of a nation speak they're almost exclusively going to paint themselves as the good guys. There is value in analyzing what they say to get an idea of their point of view but these claims need to be cross referenced with neutral or god forbid even opposing viewpoints if you want an accurate view on anyone. If you just fucking copy paste Hamas terrorist manifesto as evidence that "they aren't so bad" that isn't quality political discourse, it's just absurd rubbish.

As someone more than twice your age- take politics seriously when you are of voting age. If you don’t do politics, politics is going to do you. Wealthy people understand this and spend resources and time getting their interests advanced.
“Voting your conscience” in Presidential elections is pointless. It is a binary choice; either the Democrat or Republican will win regardless of if you protest vote or abstain.
Reversed. Convicted felon Trump is far weaker this cycle than 2016. He was politically unknown going against Hillary Clinton who was politically “damaged goods.” Now we have 4 years of his shitty governance, a failed re-election campaign, two impeachments, January 6, a sexual assault liability, 34 felonies, and 91 criminal indictments.
