we should hire Dane Cook as a paid mod to check all posts to make sure they're funny. all our good posts will be given a certification embedded in their data that verifies that they are in fact, good and funny. this will be communicated visually by a giant transparent png of a prize ribbon with Dane Cook's face on it that entirely blocks out the content of the post unless you use inspect element to remove it, thus ensuring that only the most dedicated and technically skilled Smogoons can participate in our sacred board.

make posts with zero self awareness of whether other people actually know what you're talking about. the allure of competitive pokemon humor is that its nonsensical to someone without any knowledge of comp, so once you actually get the jokes it becomes a little bit less funny. you'd figure the one place not tied entirely to pokemon would be the place this idea would be incredibly widespread but yk. guess not everyone is as smart and funny as i am haha

give the poster more colors. charts and tables for the people who like to see numbers. maybe some more visual aids to make it more eye catching.

a nice big slogan would be good too. something like, say, "make smogoff great again".
