No bringing up Exeggcute.
Only three? Remember, playing on two games, I was at it for about 24 hours on each, spread out over three days, before encountering a net total of one shiny since the last one... then there's the matter of catching before it flees...No, I've just been at Houndours for 3 hours or so.
Don't forget the "not paying attention to game" trick: for all Emerald Safari Zones (except 4), you can use the Acro Bike, and just hold down B while in grass until encountering a Pokemon. :DYeah, yeah. I have a life, remember? :P
But, I'm most likely going to do two games, Emerald and Leaf Green, once I beat Leaf Green, that is.
Oh, I ran a simulation. I made a program, that calculated a random number from 1 to 8,000. (Or whatever that shiny number was) It hit 27,000+ attempts before getting a shiny. o.o (I set shiny to 777)
Then, assuming that each Pokemon takes 10 seconds to encounter and run from, I calculated that it would take me about 59 hours.
Correct. That's Area 6. I remembered this just about when I had to go to Area 3, the one that requires the Acro Bike.o.o
Really? Shit yeah. That works where Houndooms are, right? D:
Hopefully? Within the next two months. I'm thinking about 5 weeks from now, taking names and such, having two more weeks to prep, and then starting it.Approximately, when do you guys expect to be doing this tournament?
I'd be interested in joining, but still have to get National Dex in my Diamond version in order to transfer stuff from Advance games. At 83 Pokémon currently, with 4 badges.
Also, I have access to Ranch, and could get those Pokémon that are in Safari Balls to clone and give to people. But not sure if their IVs are preset, or random.
Yaaaaahhhh!!! Its going to be so fun!Hopefully? Within the next two months. I'm thinking about 5 weeks from now, taking names and such, having two more weeks to prep, and then starting it.
The IVs are random, and I'm deciding against Ranch Pokemon, for the sake of catching your own from the 'Zones.

I was lucky, and caught one of a usable nature, during the time I spent trying to avenge the loss of the Exeggcute. And yeah, Super.Yeah, even though this thread kind of died. (D:)
First off, I don't see Blissey as a problem. Since I was catching things in the Safari Zone in my absence, (About 3 days total of straight catching) I found a total of about 15 Chanseys, all of which couldn't be caught and then fled. o.o
And, even if I did catch one, no guarantees on a decent nature, too.
Oh, Lorak. What rod do you use to get Dratinis? Super?
