No, he wins his 10th league title and he's the king. And if we didn't score we still would have won, cos Chelsea drew. For people in the UK, MUTV is free today.

How is he the "king"?

He hasn't been anywhere near the likes of Ronaldo, Nani, Anderson, Tevez, Rooney, Carrick, Scholes, Hargreaves or Park (lol) at all this season.

What Park has done towards the end of the season in terms of tracking back, winning the ball and his pace has helped us alot of the time. Full of energy. (I just gave Park a compliment).

Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez, Scholes, Hargreaves, Nani and Anderson speak for themselves. This season they have all looked more than promosing. You could've played Carrick on the wing and got more out of him than Giggs.

Giggs is a United legend, which is why one good result with Giggs on the scoresheet and he gets all the headlines. He may have made up for a poor season with that performence, but other than that I think he's been a disgrace. Have a look at "Footballforums.net" and you'll see that nearly every United fan there knows that Giggs has past his prime. And, to be honest, he's holding us back.

Personally I feel that while Giggs may be past his prime, he's still got a bit left to offer. Sure he doesn't fly down the wings anymore, but he can still pick a defense apart with some great balls.
Doesn't matter right now though, Manchester United are champions again!!!

That is a horrific goalie strip.

Kit design should be less about science and more about avoiding eyesores.

As someone said earlier, the 08/09 arsenal kits

How you can compare anyone to Ronaldo is beyond me. Nani has been more inconsistent that Giggs. Recently he has started to look like Ronaldo from 3 years ago, great dribbling but always making the wrong decision at the end. Of course Giggs will get slated for doing the exact the same thing, it is easy to criticise Giggs someone who has held onto their place for 15 odd years but harder to criticise Nani because he's inexperienced and young.

Giggs' criticism is similar to what Hargreaves got for England. He never played shite for England but every time he did something wrong everyone just got on his back. Eventually, people just jumped onto a bandwagon that when England weren't playing well they just LOOKED for something for Hargreaves to do wrong whereas they would have overlooked what Rooney did etc.

And tbh Hargreaves has been shit for 3/4 of the season. He was meant to be a marauder but doesn't seem to grab the game by the scruff of the neck.

What Park has done towards the end of the season in terms of tracking back, winning the ball and his pace has helped us alot of the time. Full of energy. (I just gave Park a compliment).

Park has always been like that. In his first season he was immense.

Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez, Scholes, Hargreaves, Nani and Anderson speak for themselves. This season they have all looked more than promosing. You could've played Carrick on the wing and got more out of him than Giggs.

Giggs' best performances are when he's given freedom to roam off the wing and into the hole. He creates space for others which often goes unnoticed especially drawing the full back away which is one of the main reasons why Evra gets so much space. Look at his goal, he is effective at ghosting in between the two centre backs. He got 4 assists for the 7 goals against Roma doing that. When he drops off deeper he is deadly and just adds some guile in the final third to go with the athleticism of Rooney/Ronaldo. He also adds some calmness into our play which is important when we do not have Scholes in the side. Sometimes when Anderson and Fletcher or Hargreaves play we lack patience and we don't spread the play well enough and end up concentrating it through the middle. The downside is that when when Carrick Scholes and Giggs play together we lack a bit of dynamism.

This is right to a degree but is mainly because the media loves to wank about a player winning stuff at his home town club.

Please explain how he is a disgrace. Everyone knows that Giggs isn't the player of 99. But he still is a very good player.

so the ref gave us the title? he failed to notaces the clear cut pen we should have had for a start.. and how many of these draws and losses have come from bad ref decisions (lack of pens) anywa

and giggs didnt play 760 odd games being rubbish now did he. you dont lose skill anyway so i have no problems with him playing or coming on.

and wtf boro 8-1 city? since when has boro scored 8 goals...

is it me or does that goalie strip look cheaply made with all the badges/ logos printed on like those fake ones you buy lol

England squad is a joke. No Carrick yet again, how the fuck is fatty Huddlestone better than him and Hargreaves is regularly kept out of the team by Carrick.

This season (the season that is of importance) Giggs has played poorly. Alot of the time he gives the ball away with his slow pace. I know he's not like he was 10 years ago, but I'm talking about now. And for you to say he has more to give strikes me.

I don't compare him to Ronaldo. I gave you the players I would play before him.

(Busy otherwise I'd take more time into this).

Lol Boro 8-1 wtf? Something tells me that it's not right.

@Clockworkorange: Lol they'll wanna avoid eyesores so it makes opposing teams suffer the sight of seeing bright orange. Besides Chelsea have always had that nice yellow away jersey.

England team = A joke

All of the players ;)

But anyways enough gay bashing, glad to see utd. to win the league, shame that brum and fulham have joined derby in going back to the championship.

The Poppies are back in the confrence so I'm happy hopefully we'll get midtable and aim for division 2 in about 3/4 years

because its a friendly
we just need a manger that doesnt try and play all the good players all at once, aka gerard, lampard together

fulham stayed up reading went down :/

chelsea should use that horrible goalie shirt with the horrible away shirt and look like a team with shirts coloured in with highlighter pens

The fact that Fulham could be playing in the UEFA Cup shows how shit it is. Just a mockery of a european competition. The only decent team there is Bayern and they got thrashed by Zenit St Petersburg or something.

Ronaldo's name has been linked with some of Europe's biggest clubs

Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo says he may consider his future at the club after next week's Champions League final.

The 23-year-old, who has scored 41 goals in a superb season, has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.

"I'm happy here, but let's see what happens after the Champions League final," said Ronaldo, speaking to Spanish TV at United's training ground. "I know Real Madrid like how I play and other teams in Spain do as well."

Ronaldo won the Football Writers' Association award on Thursday to make it a clean sweep of the English player-of-the-year prizes this season.

"I have said millions of times that I would love to play in Spain," Ronaldo is widely reported to have told Antena 3.

"But it's one thing to dream and another thing for it to be a reality.

"I am feeling calm here. I'm happy here but in the future I don't know."

Real Madrid have made no secret of their desire to sign the Portugal international, with their coach Bernd Schuster describing Ronaldo as "the best player in the world" earlier this year.

On Wednesday, Miguel Angel Arroyo, Real Madrid's general director, said: "We have the solvency and the financial liquidity to be able to take on a signing of the magnitude of Cristiano Ronaldo.

"It would be economically beneficial due to the merchandising that would arise from it."

Real have signed big names from United in recent seasons, with David Beckham and Ruud van Nistelrooy both moving from Old Trafford to the Bernabeu.

Well I had a bet with a work colleague this morning on the "Ronaldo To Spain" ordeal. He believes Ronaldo will stay for another year, atleast. However, he's far more confident in Ronaldo staying at United than I am...so I thought to myself - "Why not test him?" And we have agreed to this deal:

- If Ronaldo leaves United this season he has to give me £30
- If Ronaldo is playing in the Premier League next season then I have to cash over £15 to him.

In my eyes it's a "win-win" situation. £30 and Ronaldo leaves for Real but we have all this cash to sign 3 to-quality players. Or we still have the star next season...which isn't a bad thing, is it?

Although I just have a feeling that he may leave...but it's only a slight percent of my conscience that implies his leave to Madrid, because this drama has occured year-after-year.

We don't need to sell Ronaldo therefore we shouldn't. We've got a player who is 23 and has proven he can perform. There is no guarantee about anyone else we would sign.

Personally, I'm not bothered about the comments, it's a load of nonsense and he's been misinterpreted. Yes, he wants to go to Spain in the future and fine we'll get £80m for him. But he also said in a Skysports interview that he wants to stay and feels at home. He could not give a guarantee because I think he is thinking that the ball is in the club's court as to whether he leaves.

I'm sure that he thinks the club may accept a bid that comes in for him and so therefore it is not his choice. Anyway, I don't think he'll leave for 3-5 years; he is far too ambitious he knows he can win the CL more than once with us but is unlikely to do so with Madrid. He'll leave when he's 28 and when he's won many more trophies.

He doesn't need to leave anyway considering he is only 23 and still has alot of Football to play. There is no doubt he will leave for Madrid and no one else...but it's now a matter of which season will he pack his bags for the move to the Spain?

Premiership, Champions League and Ronaldo's transfer fee would bring in a hell of alot of money. That's up to 130 million right there ready to be spent on world class players such as Messi and Kaka.

Kaka who isn't even guaranteed a Champions League campaign next year as Milan's season has been considerably poor to say the least. Messi continuously brings up that he loves watching the Premier League and that there's always a chance for a move to England. So you never know...

If Ronaldo does not leave at the end of next season, then he will stay until Fergie retires (which is in a few years time).

Ronaldo may even stay beyond that if Queiroz is appointed, he's a father-like figure for him after his dad died.

Also: Messi's buy out clause is ridiculous

David Beckham?

(lol)

Beckham is a good player, and they are also bringing other good players like Marcelo Gallardo, Barros Esquelotto, C. Blanco, Juan Pablo Angel, Wanchope and other good players from different countries, this makes the MLS kind of interesting, to see clashes between classic players...

That's unfortunate for Cardiff, but a good job to Portsmouth nonetheless.

In other news: Ronaldo - "I'll Stay With Fergie"

Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted that he will not leave Manchester United while manager Sir Alex Ferguson remains at the club.

Ronaldo starred as United retained their Premier League crown this season and the winger has also helped the Red Devils to Wednesday's UEFA Champions League final against Chelsea, a match which can be seen live on Sky Sports 1.

And that form has led to repeated rumours that Real Madrid are considering a record breaking £100million attempt to lure Ronaldo away from Old Trafford this summer.

Ronaldo recently announced that a career in Spain would appeal in the future, but the Portuguese international has dropped the strongest suggestion yet that he will remain in England until United boss Ferguson decides to retire.

"The boss is the reason I am here in the club," Ronaldo - who joined United in 2003 in a £12million move from Sporting Lisbon - said in the News of the World.

"He helped me a lot, not just this season but the seasons before.

"I feel very good at the club. I want to carry on like that. I have many friends here in the club.

"I have been at the club five years and I know everyone now - the staff, the players - and I feel like this is my home."

Ahead of United's Moscow meeting with Chelsea, it has been suggested that Ronaldo fails to deliver in big games as he has been unable to find the back of the net in nine outings against the Blues.

However, Ronaldo - who was voted the Professional Footballers' Association and the Football Writers' Association Player of the Year - has rubbished the speculation adding: "I am the best.

"I am very happy with my season. I scored 31 league goals. I don't need to show anything to anyone. I won every award. I need to prove nothing.

"When I hear it said that I do not play well against the big teams, it does not annoy me because I know I am the best"

And considering Fergie's staying for another 3 years, this can only be good news for United. ;]
