Yeah, I think Chelsea will be able to appeal successfully to have transfers at least in the off season next year as Abramovich can afford the best lawyers in the world.

What do you think? Man u will obviously get away with it. Everyone knows that. Fifa will probably just ignore it.

Thats the difference between Chelsea and Man U. Sucking cock, not being richer. And refs Suck Fergies Cock. :P

^ So True.
Rafas had a solid point in his rants.
Chelsea will probably get out of the full ban though, as they always do, Man U deserve some sort of punishment, with this, as with everything they constantly work their way out of.

Sepp Blatter dislikes the English league and with Utd. being the best in britian for the last 15 years, he would love to make an example of them. This ban is done by Fifa not the FA so just because the league is "Barclays Man Unnitedship" as you so naively put it wouldn't effect it.

Rafa's rants were farcial, yes they made some sense but alot of the time it was calling the kettle black.

Also Man Utd. does have a claim in which these allegations can be denied, the player in question never really had a contract with the team in the first place, same couldn't be said for Chelsea, although I am doubtful they will see out the full ban... No-one ever serves the full sentence of a punishment.

However I am curious, this ban prevent ALL outgoing and Ingoing Transfers? Does this Include loans in and out? And does that mean a Chelsea player can only leave when there contract expires?

Also another interesting point I would like to raise, apparently RomanChelski said he would not be pumping money into Chelsea's transfers anymore :P Well certainly not to the degree he has done.

I'd like to see Chelsea go without Abromavich, that would be funny.
Pre-Abromavich Chelsea were nowhere near as good as they are now, they were more in the position Everton/Man City currently are. Taking into account their squad is getting on now, they'll be relying on Abromavich to keep up transfer funds, more than ever in coming seasons, to prevent them from letting their positions slip, and turning into Leeds V2.

Good day of football from the Premier League, excellent display from Manchester United, especially after having Scholes sent off and still dictating the play.

Watch Adebayor not get punished for either the face stomp on Van Persie or the ridiculous celebration when he scored.

If Eduardo's dive is worth a 2 match ban then Adebayor should be out for the season, but the FA are pussies while UEFA and FIFA don't care about english clubs crying over their decisions.

Also i'm actually glad Man U beat Spurs, spurs are never gonna win the title and maybe now their fans will stop thinking they can. Now just need United to beat City to shut them up.

He should not be banned for a year, he should be banned forever, we don't need any fucking idiots like that in the game, he can go and die for all I fucking care. He'll probably just get something pathetic like a 3 game ban, the FA are fucking useless at things like this.

Still yet to be convinced by City, only Adebayor and Robinho are real quality upfront, Tevez and SWP have dodgy technique. Back four hasn't gelled, looking at their abomination of a offside trap for the Rosicky goal. Man Utd would have done the same thing to Arsenal if Berbatov and Nani didn't screw easy chances and we played extremely shit that match.

And Adebayor hasn't got an ounce of class in him. The van Persie stamp particularly (also Robin, I'm gonna take you out of the fantasy team for Drogba if you don't get your arse in gear...) as well as the celebration. I did find it funny to see him running like an antelope of some sort or the fucking road runner but it was extremely stupid.

If Roy Keane didn't get a life ban for the Alf Inge Haaland thing, then Adebayor doesn't deserve more than a 3 match ban.

If I was Adebayor I would've celebrated like that too, Arsenal fans are being dicks towards him.

What is that for an example?

I would rather compare it with the kick Pepe gave last season. He got a (I think) a 5 match ban, so why doesn't Adebayor deserve such a punishment? Besides, the referee didn't even give him his deserved red card, so 5 matches isn't even high enough for me

Alright, I'm a bit pissed off now. I don't like to sound rude, but you are being an idiot. How can you say just because someone didn't get a life ban for something, someone else shouldn't. If Adebayor had been a few inches further and taken out Van Persies eye, there would have been no argument about a life ban, but just because he misses it, suddenly this isn't a bad thing.

Your just being stupid. What have we done against him? We supported him, but what did we get in return? Him being a complete prat and getting into a fight with Bendtner, and then not putting all his heart into the club. We have every right to be "dicks" towards him, and that behaviour of his is not needed, he should have some fucking respect for the fans and wenger who were patient with him, supported him, and then he fucks off.

Eduardo got a 2 match ban for diving, so this should be a hell of a lot more if you want to start comparing punishments. You don't seem to understand the enormity of what he did, he intentionally stamped on Van Persies face, don't try and say he didn't. We all saw him look backwards at Van Persie and then smile after he did it. He's a complete idiot, and should be banned for life, and your attitude is just plain annoying and disgraceful.

It is unfair to single out one player. Yes, Eduardo shouldn't have done what he did, but there have been a lot worse dives many times in Europe with a lack of punishment so this one shouldn't have been a 2 game ban. That is why its them coming to their senses.
