The Sun Always Rises (6th Gen Sun Team)

I have a suggestion for venusaur. Instead of Earthquake, you could try weather ball. In the sun it has 100 base power and is a fire type move. Unless your worried about getting walled by heatran, weather ball does way more damage to steel types with your EV spread.

252+ SpA Venusaur Weather Ball (100 BP Fire) vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Aegislash-Shield in Sun: 210-248 (64.8 - 76.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
0- Atk Venusaur Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Aegislash-Shield: 78-94 (24 - 29%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery

This is just one example. Most steels have lower SpDef anyways, so that helps.

Most people don't expect it, and it is really effective against ice types too. The only downsides are that it becomes completely useless outside of the sun, and heatran laughs at this set. Your Flygon completely counters Heatran, so I don't think its that is much of a problem. Still, outside of the sun you basically only have 3 moves.

This is just a suggestion, and if you try it I hope it works out.

Life Orb is better on chlorophyll Venusaurs imo it just makes it so much more powerful and giga drain provides decent enough recovery.

Love the team, I think it works really well. The only thing I would change, and this is just a personal favorite, is Venusaur to Sawsbuck. But like I said, that isn't really a constructive change, just a personal favorite that i think works great. One other thing, the team really needs a backup Pokemon to bring back Sun. For example, in Gen V, i was always coming up against Rain and Sand teams, so in the case of Ninetales being knocked out, you have a backup Pokemon with sunny day. Great team.

Instead of flygon as a revenge killer I recomend scarfed rotom-heat. It is able to use sun boosted overheat for extreme power, or use volt switch to act as a scout. Also, it is a great check to talonflame.

Thanks for making this! It really helped me set up my team. It was great since I already wanted to use Ninetails and I loved a lot of the pokemon on here and I think that anyone looking to make a sun team should look at this

This thread is well over a year old, dude. Don't necropost teams that are no longer relevant in the meta especially if you're not even giving advice though that makes little difference when it comes to posts this old. PM/VMing the man would have been a better way to go about things.
