The Ultimate Thread

So Ultimate Frisbee is actually getting more famous here in our school, and I've been playing whole lot of it. Its actually one of the most tiring games I've ever played (besides water polo. damn that game is tiring.) So I just want to know who else plays this game and what everyone else thinks of it.
 
I enjoyed a game of Ultimate Frisbee with a few Brittish randoms (and McGraw!) near Cambridge. It was fun, but also really tiring indeed. Recently I played it at school again, but it seems people just don't understand that throwing the Frisbee the whole 2537983 yards and hoping someone catches it does not work. Shame, because it's really cool to just score by passing it over one or two metres.

It was a huge thing at my high school, I never really got into it though. In college it has died down a considerable amount. Most people around here play ping pong instead 8)
 
We used to play it in gym class in High School and it got to the point where us seniors and some of the juniors would meet up after school and during the summer every Tuesday and Thursday to play.

I played a little bit here in college with the club team but they were way out of my league so I stopped showing up. Nobody wants to play with me now it's sad. :( :(
 
We had to play it for a couple high school classes, but I never was exceptionally skilled in the sport. Badminton FTW!

I wouldn't say it's popular here in college, but I do see at least a couple people each day tossing a Frisbee around.
 
I've played at the beach with some friends of mine, and we had a lot of fun. Ocean winds and running on sand made it tiresome though.
 
All of the people with whom I try to play are idiots and can't understand the greatness of the game that is Ultimate Frisbee.

I'm trying to teach them by using a soccer ball and we just throw it to each other, so they can learn the rules, and then hopefully we'll move up to frisbees later.
 
The only opinion I have of Ultimate Frisbee is that it is dumb when people just call it 'Ultimate'. Kinda makes me think of it as a sham of a sport. Frisbee to me will always be just the disc you throw to each other in the park after you have had a picnic.
 
Used to play ultimate frisbee, was ok at be but not pro. Does anyone know how to do the trick where the frisbee flips from upside down to regular mid air, thats pretty sick
 
when i was in high school we would go down to the park after school on friday and play for 4-5 hours every week. now, in college the sport has changed to pool. for some reason everyone plays pool all the time. i think i might just become a pool shark if my major doesn't work out
 
Ahahahah ULTIMATE Frisbee. What a joke. I played this and just got pissed off because it was really boring and everyone was shit at it.
 
Ultimate frisbee is awesome to play when you get enough people, and it happens to be a sport I don't suck at. My friends and I get together every now and then for a game, I have a frisbee in my locker just incase no one else has one.

I think that's the hammer throw? I've tried working on that and I think I'm getting the hang of it. XD
