What can I say? OU just sounds absolutely boring, so I hope to focus most of my energy onto a UU Team. I have no idea of the UU Threats, so my team may be a little off at first, but I appreciate any advice given. Thanks
Pokemon that Interest me in UU!:
- Miltank (Def Wall)
- Ambipom (Lead, Physical)
- Blaziken (Mix Attacker)
- Good UU Spinners: Claydol, Blastoise, Donphan
- Hitmonlee (Physical)
- Moltres (Special, Lead)
- Nidoqueen (Physical Tank)
- Registeel (Physical Tank)
- Sceptile (Special)
- Slowbro (Bulky Water)
- Yanmega (Lead, Special)
Each Individual Pokemon:
The Lead / Special Sweeper (1)
Roserade @ Focus Sash
Ability: Natural Cure
Timid Nature
6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
~ Sleep Powder
~ Sludge Bomb
~ Grass Knot
~ Hidden Power Ground
This used to be a common lead. But it moved to UU, I still think it does the job well. Put other leads to sleep and then continue to sweep. HP Ground to beat most of it's threats including Drapion.
The Physical Sweeper (1)
Feraligatr @ Leftovers
Adamant Nature
28 HP / 252 Atk / 228 Spe
~ Dragon Dance
~ Waterfall
~ Ice Punch
~ Earthquake
My favorite starter of all time and it knows Dragon Dance, my replacement Gyarados for UU. I love it, love it...LOVE IT! This guy has such great coverage and a wonderful powerup move, this is a force to be reckon with.
The Special Sweeper (2)
Houndoom @ Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire
Timid Nature
40 HP / 252 SpA / 216 Spe
~ Nasty Plot
~ Fire Blast
~ Dark Pulse
~ HP Flying
If this guy can effectively get up a Nasty Plot or two, he's nasty. Fire Blast and Dark Pulse do nasty amounts of damage since they're both STAB. And the HP Flying is there to hit those Hariyamas.
The Physical Sweeper (2)
Hitmontop @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Adamant Nature
252 HP / 252 Atk / 6 Def
~ Rapid Spin
~ Foresight
~ Close Combat
~ Stone Edge / Sucker Punch
I've never actually used a Pokemon that uses Foresight, so this will be interesting. Then again, if I have Sucker Punch would that even matter? Though, Spiritomb isn't much of an attacker so I'd need another answer to them.
The Wall (1)
Steelix @ Leftovers
Sassy Nature
252 HP / 6 Def / 252 SpD
~ Gyro Ball
~ Earthquake
~ Stealth Rock
~ Toxic / Roar
Since he was just added, I haven't really had the time to test him. I can't decide between Roar and Toxic, they both bring great things to this team. It's EVs and Nature have been modified so that it can take a special hit.
The Wall (2) / Stallbreaker
Mismagius @ Leftovers
Calm Nature
252 HP / 36 Def / 220 Spe
~ Shadow Ball
~ Taunt
~ Will-O-Wisp
~ Pain Split
This is a set that was suggested by Malkyrian. It will act as my Special Wall and Stallbreaker. Shadow Ball hits threats such as Slowbro, while Taunt pretty much shuts down stall. Then I can Pain Split my threats away and Will-O-Wisp some special attackers.
Overview:
Witness this team in all it's glory. I feel like they cover each others weaknesses well, covers most of the UU threats and are just some of my favorite UU Pokemon. So it's a win, win situation?
