gonna hop on the vgc train for some questions.
do you think it was fair for the vgc crowd to want equal representation to OU?
i ask this because i completely disagreed with this position. not everyone on smogon has the resources to go to events/or the interest to attend such events. i always felt the convenience of being able to play online from anywhere was the main reason as to why OU became the "official" smogon metagame.
secondly what is your favourite vegetable?
and finally, if you could change one thing about smogon what would it be? (if this question was already asked, suggest something else)

idk I've been meaning to start rating VGC teams so I guess I'll start with the new season!
Glen and DM are both people I'd like to talk to at some point, can't really think of a third right now as someone entirely ~interesting~ but I'd probably want to talk to Wolfey at some point since even though we've been to the same regionals we've never talked.

I think it was fair to want to be treated equally. VGC overall has a huge playerbase, and while that didn't seem as present on Smogon it could have been. (Whether that would've happened if we gave it equal support or not is simply speculation). I think that as the ~best~ competitive community we should try to focus on our own fan-made metagame (and I don't mean that in a disrespectful way) but also focus on Nintendo's official one. I never understood the real adversity to that, since it wasn't like any support was being taken away from Singles play. I get what you're saying that not everyone has the means to go to an event, but equal support would've also allowed for more online tournaments. I don't really know how it would've turned out, but I don't think any group would have gotten slighted by having more support for VGC.

I probably would make a rule that says that unless something specifically affects you or a part of the site you run or are a part of, you shouldn't post in the thread. In general, I think that creates a lot of red tape on Smogon since everyone likes to share their opinions, but in the end it should really be up to the people who are affected by what happens. As a VGCer I'd probably avoid posting in a thread that discusses what the new policy is for determining Ubers, and in the end I think that people should just mind their own business and trust that whoever is making the changes isn't planning to send the site into its grave.
Or I'd add more forum skins because this color is pretty boring sometimes!!

I've always liked the idea of getting a tattoo, but I can't imagine having something so permanent since I can't even keep a custom title for very long on here!! I'd probably get a belly button piercing since it seems to be the most acceptable and I don't think they're creepy.
I'd really like to re-enact something out of a Looney Tunes cartoon because at least the person could die in a cool way. "Killed by Acme Anvil" or something like that!
