Unfortunately, a confusion from Naviathan's Hurricane thwarts shadowpea's greater plan, causing Aurumoth to strike itself at an inopportune moment. This reverses the outcome of the round, as Naviathan's following attack faints Aurumoth, ending the scuffle with relatively minor damage to its user.
With the scoring of a second knockout, TheEver has gained an advantageous position in the battle, and the impending change in turn order will further pressure shadowpea to respond. The battle has now begun to wind down, as both players are each left with a single weakened fighter, thus eschewing the persistent uniquity of this conflict in favor of an unabashed death match.
