Background:
So the reason I built this team is because I wanted to use Meloetta for fun and try to abuse Relic Song + Swords Dance (since it was introduced this generation). Since the council decided to get rid of sleep moves via a quickban I wanted to see how many Pokemon I can get asleep with Relic Song for that reason. I decided to add Sticky Webs to this team to allow Meloetta to switch easily between its two forms and allows me to fish for sleep more often.

Meloetta @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Serene Grace
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Relic Song

- Close Combat

- Knock Off

- Swords Dance

The star of the team, the reason for Tera Dark is for late game Kingambit without the need to changing your form and allowing you to kill it with Close Combat. Knock Off in general regardless of changing forms is good if you think they're going to switch-in to a Ghost type. When you have webs up with your good natural speed of 309 it allows you to spam Relic Song on faster mons which allows you to fish for a sleep. If you happen to put a mon to sleep you can then go for a Swords Dance and apply pressure to the enemies team. The reason for Jolly + Sticky Webs, certain mons run Boots naturally you outspeed Meowscarda, Weavile Darkrai and some Zamazentas. Serene Grace allows Relic Song to have a 20% chance to put the opposition to sleep, out of the 16 PPs you can spam it and eventually get a mon to sleep.

Araquanid @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Water Bubble
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Sticky Web
1707457503958.png

- Liquidation
1707457514119.png

- Leech Life
1707457505625.png

- Mirror Coat
1707457330954.png

For Sticky Webs I chose this mon as my setter because of the natural special defensive bulk and immunity to Will-O-Wisps while being able to switch-in on Volcarona and threaten with Liquidation. If the opposing team has a Kyurem and you feel like webs isn't important you can trade a 1 for 1 by using Mirror Coat on the obvious Freeze Dry. This is a mon to usually lead with, unless Dragonite looks good against an opposing lead. Tera Steel is strictly only for Kyurem if I want to actually get Webs up and do damage to it eventually with Mirror Coat. Leech Life is a nice stab to have which heals you and if you can predict an Ogerpon-Wellspring switch-in which does around 60% damage.

Gholdengo @ Air Balloon
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 152 Def / 104 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
1707457296774.png

- Dazzling Gleam
1707457486898.png

- Shadow Ball
1707457419797.png

- Recover
1707457269023.png

Gholdengo is your Rapid Spin blocker as well as your back up sweeper. Dazzling Gleam +4 with Tera Fairy OHKOs Kingambit. The defensive nature allows you to take a Liquidation from Barraskewda under Rain (without Tera Water). If you're at +2 you can OHKO with Shadow Ball. Tera Fairy is a good defensive choice with this meta being infested with all the strong dragons running around. Dazzling Gleam was picked over Make It Rain specifically for Raging Bolt assuming that I am running Make It Rain as well as Dragonite with Roost and the 4x damage for Roaring Moon.

Kingambit @ Black Glasses
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Kowtow Cleave
1707457287600.png

- Swords Dance
1707457265307.png

- Iron Head
1707457565386.png

- Sucker Punch
1707457290353.png

Kingambit + Black Glasses is a monster especially when you decide to Tera Dark. With Webs you're able to outspeed Rillaboom + Grassy Glide with Sucker Punch. At 5 Fallen you're able to OHKO Roaring Moon after a Swords Dance and Tera with Sucker Punch. +4 Tera Dark Sucker Punch (5 Fallen) OHKOs Offensive Tusk 94% of the time. Iron Head over Low Kick is for fairies as well as abusing webs with flinches.
+4 252+ Atk Black Glasses Supreme Overlord 5 allies fainted Tera Dark Kingambit Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Great Tusk: 367-432 (98.9 - 116.4%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO

Dragonite @ Choice Band
Ability: Multiscale
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Outrage
1707457540937.png

- Extreme Speed
1707457272783.png

- Earthquake
1707457548880.png

- Fire Punch
1707457554689.png

Awyp Here: So I gave Vic this idea because he's seen it in the past a few times and it absolutely hits like a brick as you will see some of the replays Tera Dragon Outrage beats Dondozo as long as it's not Tera Fairy which isn't common anymore. If they happen to be Tera Fairy it allows Kingambit to break Dondozo. The reason I went tera Dragon over Normal is because Outrage is the move to spam here especially when webs is in the picture. Earthquake is pretty standard for Steel and of course you need to include Extreme Speed for priority. Fire Punch is specifically for Corviknight, Skarmory and Air-Balloon Gholdengo. Hydrapple stall loses to this mon pretty badly, it becomes BBQ chicken (It's the freest win you'll get)
252+ Atk Choice Band Tera Dragon Dragonite Outrage vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Dondozo: 288-340 (57.1 - 67.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Iron Valiant @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
1707457320832.png

- Moonblast
1707457491028.png

- Shadow Ball
1707457412116.png

- Psyshock
1707457319255.png

I wanted a special attacker to round up the team and as well as having a Dragon immunity and Iron Valiant filled that role perfectly. Under webs you're able to outspeed Barraskewda and you have a chance to OHKO with Moonblast. Calm Mind is to boost your SpA in general and Psyshock is for Clodsires increased usage recently, as well as helping vs Stall. Shadow Ball (Tera Ghost) if you need to kill Gholdengo or needing to kill a Glowking at +2. Tera Ghost is also beneficial vs opposing Dragonites that are trying to kill with Extreme Speed.

Threatlist:
:barraskewda: / Rain Teams - Very difficult to fight so having webs is important to set up your mons to outspeed as mentioned above. Kingambit outspeed anything under 298 and Iron Valiant outspeeds Barraskewda.

:ribombee:/ Sticky Webs - With the recent RMT of Sticky Webs resurgence it can become a 50/50 matchup depending on how you play

:torkoal: / Sun - Sun can become very difficult without webs because Torkoal can threaten Gholdengo so its best to always get chip with Araquanid and its preferred to have webs staying up if you're able to keep it up it allows Dragonite to have a big game.

Replays:
Vs Aurora Veil (Relic Song spam)
Vs High Ladder
Vs Hydrapple Stall
Dragonite puts in work
Kingambit goes crazy (Tera Dark power)

Closing Thoughts:
This team is extremely fun to use but requires a lot of practice to get comfortable with it. I was able to keep an average win rate of 76 GXE with over 600 games. If you like Meloetta you can try it out, this team will get better when Arch IS banned. Don't take the team too serious, but this team was born by the decision of the council, so thank them.
