Core 3

Core 4

*surprise not much core 4 votes, weavile and alakazam together alone not including 4 other pokemon you would have on a team can OHKO most pokemon on the round 1 team after sr damage especially*

*Core 3 the two pokemon chosen both can cause trouble for this team perhaps different set for talonflame but can still get job done*
I'm pretty sure the week 2 voting stage is over...

Bisharp + Mega Medicham + Klefki

Not much to say about this core, but Medicham completely breaks this team once Charizard has been Twaved by Klefki, Clefable and Jellicent are weakened. Bisharp can be either SD or Pursuit, but Pursuit helps with removing Jellcent, though SD helps put a shit ton of pressure on the team as Hippo and Zard X are the only ones capable of taking it on, and that's only if Zard wins Sucker Punch mindgames.

Mega Manectric + Weavile

Manectric-Mega @ Manectite
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Overheat

Weavile @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ice Shard
- Icicle Crash
- Knock Off
- Pursuit

This Offensive Core pretty much destroys this team alone. Mega Manectric and switch into Mega Scizor lowering its Attack making Bullet Punch weak and then threaten it out for a excepting Overheat. Mega Manectric and also do massive damage to Manaphy since thankfully it isn't holding a Wacan Berry. Weavile can easily Pursuit trap Latios making the opponent lose one mon. Mega Manectric can't really touch Hippowdon but Weavile can with Icicle Crash doing decent damage. Raikou somewhat walls Mega Manectric but Weavile does massive damage from Knock Off alone. And lastly Dragonite won't like taking a Ice Move Weavile or getting its Attack lowered.

Surprised this one fell through in team building, but here - a pretty common one all things considered:

+

Kyurem-B @ Leftovers
EVs: 56 HP / 216 SpA / 236 Spe
Mild Nature
Ability: Teravolt
- Substitute
- Ice Beam
- Fusion Bolt
- Earth Power

Victini @ Choice Band
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
Ability: Victory Star
- V-Create
- Zen Headbutt
- Bolt Strike
- U-turn

So these two pull this team apart. Really all they're in desperate need of is pursuit trapper capable of taking on Latios 100% of the time, like Scarf/Band Tar (at the moment Latios is fairly free to get kills of it's own but has to be wary of coming in on KyuB when he gets a sub up). KyuB has coverage to at least 2HKO basically this whole team, and beating Dragonite's MultiScale for the 1HKO is basically just the icing on the cake. Only exception is Mega Scizor who is forced out by Victini, which can switch in on anything but the Knock Off (which Victini has to be wary of switching in on early game as it's quite spammable before Scizor's likely to try to set up SD). When forcing Scizor out Victini gets big hits on basically everyone but Dragonite with V-Create. Victini can also create switch in opportunities for Kyurem with U-Turn if the player predicts right. The core doesn't win on it's own but easily beats out the team with the right support, which as far as I can see should basically consist of a pursuit trapper and a Knock Off absorber (not hard to find since this core doesn't use the mega slot).

EDIT: Apologies for the sprites, I just googled a couple and haven't found time to find proper ones (heading off to work now, it's early in the UK!)

Manaphy + Pursuit breaks this team pretty easily as Tyranitar can beat Raikou and Latios while Manaphy beats everything else when its at +3. Really not much to say about the core since the concept of it and how it works is really basic stuff. Bisharp / Weavile can work but their frailty compared to TTar makes it much harder to handle Raikou and Latios. MegaGross can work too but it struggles to switch into Raikou because it takes a decent chunk from Volt Switch and Shadow Ball, which makes me feel that TTar is the optimal trapper to pair with Manaphy to break this team.

Tyranitar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Superpower
- Stone Edge

Manaphy @ Leftovers
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Energy Ball
- Tail Glow

Mega Altaria + Magnezone

Sets:
Altaria @ Altarianite
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP/ 184 Def/ 76 Spe
Impish Nature
-Roost
-Dragon Dance
-Return
-Refresh/ Earthquake

Magnezone @ Choice Specs
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 172 HP/ 252 SpA/ 84 Spe
Modest Nature
-Thunderbolt
-Volt Switch
-Hidden Power Fire
-Flash Cannon

Standard ORAS Dragmag, altered as to beat this team more easily.

Details:
This core's goal is to achieve a sweep with Mega Altaria, who can set up on nearly the entire team with this spread. The only opposing mon holding it back is Mega Scizor, which is easily trapped and eliminated by Specs Magnezone. It's fairly self-explanatory; just keep Magnezone around long enough to take Scizor out, then get Mega Altaria in safely, and win. Every opposing mon bar Mega Scizor can only 3HKO at best, so literally everything is set-up fodder. Mega Altaria can choose between Refresh and EQ as its last move; the first is better against this team in case Manaphy burns it with Scald and gives better survivability in general, the latter is good for beating Heatran and other grounded steels that Magnezone can't handle as well.

Calcs:
252+ Atk Choice Band Dragonite Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 184+ Def Mega Altaria: 130-154 (36.7 - 43.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock

The only relevant calc, as it's the strongest hit that Mega Altaria will take from the team (bar Scizor) and still avoids the 2HKO with this spread. After a boost or two, the opposing team crumbles. Magnezone takes care of Mega Scizor by destroying it with HP Fire. No calcs needed for that one imo.

Ok I know I reserved Mamoswine but I changed it lol

Sceptile @ Sceptilite
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Dragon Pulse
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Talonflame @ Leftovers
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 248 HP / 160 Atk / 92 SpD / 8 Spe
Careful Nature
- Swords Dance
- Will-O-Wisp
- Brave Bird
- Roost

Sceptile can practically sweep this team bar the priority from Scizor and Dragonite. Talonflame lures in and weakens Hippowdon for itself, while having the ability to whittle Raikou pretty seriously since Thunderbolt has a 0% chance to KO from full. Talonflame supports Sceptile by weakening Raikou / Dragonite potentially and countering Mega Scizor which can be annoying if it gets a free switch-in after a Leaf Storm kill. Raikou can't exactly check Mega Sceptile by switching in, it needs a free switch, but does check it then.

252 SpA Raikou Thunderbolt vs. 248 HP / 92+ SpD Talonflame: 296-350 (82.4 - 97.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 SpA Mega Sceptile Hidden Power Fire vs. 248 HP / 40 SpD Mega Scizor: 272-324 (79.3 - 94.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 SpA Mega Sceptile Leaf Storm vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Raikou: 153-181 (47.6 - 56.3%)

0 Atk Mega Sceptile Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Raikou: 198-234 (61.6 - 72.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Zard-X + Clefable

+

Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 72 HP / 252 Atk / 184 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Flare Blitz
- Dragon Claw
- Thunder Punch

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 SpD
Calm Nature
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled
- Thunder Wave

This team is actually really weak to Calm Mind Clefable, with only Manaphy and Mega Scizor preventing a complete sweep by it. Zard-X is added to fix this problem because not only does it set-up on Mega Scizor, it only has Thunder Punch to lure and OHKO Manaphy (it also secures a 2HKO against Suicune, Slowbro and secures a OHKO on Azumarill) .

Zard-X can also sweep this team by itself provided that Stealth Rock is up against the opponent's side of the field as it can freely set-up on Raikou and Mega Scizor (who is lured by Clefable to come in). If you are really desperate, Zard-X can tank 1 Scald to get a DD up and OHKO Manaphy. Answers to it such as Hippo and Latios are set-up bait for Clefable so your opponent will be hard-pressed to play against this core.
