Time for a mono!

Ok, so i decided to make a mono-type team. I've already done Poison and Water, and now it's time for another one of my favorite types, Psychic!
I tried my best to give me a blend of Powerful and useable pokes, while still using a few of my favorites. Here it goes!

Clock's Ticking (FOR YOUR DEMISE!)(Bronzong)(?)@Lum Berry
Nature:Sassy
Ability:Levitate
EV's:252HP/128Atk/128SpDef
-Stealth Rock
-Hypnosis
-Gyro Ball
-Reflect

What better way to lead a mono-Psychic team then with Bronzong? This poke may just be another standard, but it's amazing. Gets rocks early, sleeps an oponent, sets up reflect, can come in on Earthquakes, and just has massive defensive potential. The new suicide lead trend may have lowered it's abilities, but it's still an excellent and dependable poke.

TheStacheGetsTheGirls(Alakazam)(M)@Leftovers
Nature:Timid
Ability:Synchronize
EV's:24HP/236Spe/248SpA
-Substitute
-Encore
-Psychic
-Hidden Power (BUG)

Props to Skiddle for this great set. I fell in love with it immediately when i saw it, and even more when i saw how monstrous it was in battle. People think they can predict around Alakazam, only to be met with a sub + encore that decimates their entire plans. He's still beastly with that STAB Psychic, and HP bug means Celebi, Starmie, Weavile and friends are going to wish they never switched in.

Armored Spidey(Metagross)(?)@Life Orb
Nature:Adamant
Ability:Clear Body
EV's:48HP/252Atk/208Spe
-Agility
-Earthquake
-Thunderpunch
-Ice Punch

Agiligross is back with a vengeace. With the 208 speed investment he can outspeed adamant Scarfchomp, and a LOT of pokes are in that range. Earthquake is an excellent move for a physical attacker, but i decided to ignore STAB Meteor Mash for a physical BoltBeam coverage. This poke is still able to rip apart teams, especially offensive, frail ones.

DeathWish(Jirachi)(?)@Leftovers
Nature:Bold
Ability:Serene Grace
EV's:252HP/216Def/40Spe
-Calm mind
-Substitute
-Psychic
-Thunderbolt

Jirachi is cute, and yet it can kick your ass. Thats an awesome poke right there. I wanted a Calm Mind set because it's very destructive. I wanted it to still be kept defensive, so i left the ev's pretty much the same as the wish/u-turn set, but i gave 4 more points to speed for all those people who think keeping it at 245 is useful. I'd REALLY love to find somewhere to put wish, but I can't really decide, i'm thinking over one of the attacking moves would be the best option.

WhereTheGardevoir'sAt?(Gallade)(M)@Choice Scarf
Nature:Adamant
Ability:Steadfast
EV's:16HP/252Atk/240Spe
-Close Combat
-Leaf Blade
-Stone Edge
-Fire Punch

Hayah! An all out brawler with psychic abilities, is there anything more badass? Scarfade might not have the power of Band or SD Gallade, but it makes up for that by getting the first strike on enemies. I know the moveset is kind of odd, but i needed these moves to fill the coverage that the Psychic type lacks. I needed a nice Grass, Rock, and Fire move.

MovieStar(Starmie)(?)@Leftovers
Nature:Timid
Ability:Natural Cure
EV's:160HP/132SpA/216Spe
-Rapid Spin
-Recover
-Surf
-Thunderbolt

One of my favorite pokes also happens to be one of my favorite types! Starmie is a movie star in the D/P metagame, keeping a good ammount of threat's in check. This particular Starmie is a standard spinner, but im open to change it to a more offensive one.

Thanks for reading! :D

all your pokemon act as individuals. No one supports anyone else except maybe Bronzong. I'd make Metagross a Stalker (Turtlegross) so you have somewhat of a physical wall who can take some status. I'd also let Jirachi wishpass and maybe set up a screen instead of trying to do it on it's own. You didn't get very diverse in your types... celebi can work well in here as well as slowbro, who both make much more reliable counters than Starmie for Gyarados.

Obviously those are definite considerations for a mono-psychic, but i didn't want too many stall pokes. I'll consider slowbro as an alternate calm minder to Jirachi though as he gets reliable recovery. Thanks.

[my jirachi just swept a team mind you ;)]

I disagree with Falkner... Alakazam can Encore to set up Metagross, and Starmie provides some support as a rapid spinner.

That's all that's needed. I would get rid of one of those steel/psychics. I can actually see Arcanine doing a lot of damage to this team. Especially if Extreme Speed OHKO's Alakazam (not sure, but don't know how to do damage calcs).

Fire types love this team, and so do dragons like DDnite. After a DD, nothing here stops the standard expect possibly being revenge killed by Gallade. Especially since Metagross' has the only Ice attack. I'd put Ice Beam over Thunderbolt on Starmie to possibly stop it before it gets a DD.

Other than that, it seems pretty good.

Mind rating my thread? Much appriciated.

Rapid Spin on Starmie is not needed because you have nothing weak to SR. You could change it to Ice Beam mentioned byMetaNite

Err,what about Shadow ball for Gross?,or Dark pulse for Alakazam?

Just thinking for their weakness to Dark & Ghost types,or is HP bug for Grass type coverage too?

Rapid spin was mostly there for Toxic Spikes, and i don't really see any Poison-Psychic pokes running around to absorb the spikes. <_<

I already have enough psychic moves so if i change anything on starmie it'll probably be for ice beam.

Gross is physical so i don't think shadow ball would work out, and bug gives Zam good coverage and hits darks, psychics, and grasses alike.

Thanks.

You didn't count Jirachi.

On a side note Heracross just loves this team.

I have't really had any trouble with heracross. Starmie can switch-in to anything but megahorn, and scarf versions don't do that much damage. But if you feel so, perhaps suggesting what i can change can be of some help?

Well, I can't really help you considering your using a mono team, so I suppose suggesting Gliscor wouldn't do you any good.
