Ah yes, has been a while since I have posted an RMT, and yes, I have checked the rules before doing so. It has been more than 2 weeks so I'll just get this started. If I do anything wrong, smogon I am deeply sorry It's probably posted in the wrong forum by accident or I broke the rules, but I'll try my best not to. Anyway, here's a new Idea that I came up with, and you guessed it if you read the title: IT'S A SHADOW TAG TEAM!!!! Funny right? Now I am going to tell you I read rule #5, which was "post only competitive teams, no troll teams". Even though it sounds like one, it isn't. It has won be a lot of battles out of the 10 I've probably tested this team on and on all the losses, my opponent had like 3 or less pokemon left. It can be that deadly. So maybe you might "calculate" it as 25% troll, 75% competitive, so I think this is legit enough to be a competitive team that I can use, and so can you! Oh, and Don't question roles on this team, because EVERY SINGLE POKEMON ON THIS TEAM CAN BE A REVENGE KILLER AND CAN FILL IN ANOTHER ROLE!
So without further ado, my team in person!
[pimg]676-black[/pimg] (Black) [pimg]606[/pimg] [pimg]212[/pimg] [pimg]202[/pimg] [pimg]51[/pimg] [pimg]50[/pimg]
Yup, you're looking at that right. There is, and I quote; there is, and I quote: There IS a FREAK'N DIGGLETT IN MY TEAM! I will explain that, and now you must be thinking "It's a troll team". Just trust me, it works. It does work competitively and It can win with the USE of DIGLETT. So now it's time to explain my team.
1. Kyurem-B
[pimg]676-black[/pimg]
@ Choice Scarf
252 Atk / 252 Spe / 6 HP
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Teravolt
Moves:
-Outrage
-Fusion Bolt
-Dragon Claw
-Sleep Talk
This is Kyurem-B by the way. I don't think there is an icon for thier forms, so I'll do that when there is one.
In the past RMT(s), I always kept saying "Use Dragonite, Dragonite" Dragonite". Ignore that. While Kyurem-B is still an OU, let's just use that monster that has a BST of 700, 170 Base Attack, and can carry more threatening strategies than Dragonite ever had. So use him while you have the chance to do so. Personally, I run a Choice Scarf set, with some STAB Dragon-Type moves to wreck crap. So why is this on a Shadow Tag Team? Because 2 reasons: A. Good Overall Pokemon. B. People don't see the Choice Scarf coming. Switch into Gyrados, then Dragon Dance? FUSION BOLT!! You think your faster? BAM! The moves are all pretty self-explanitory except for Sleep Talk. Outrage and Dragon Claw for STAB, Fusion Bolt for Skarmory, and Sleep Talk is for pokemon who put it to sleep, pokemon like Breloom and Venasaur. Just remember, Kyurem-B is a monster. Use him, or at least TEST HIM, and you might just have success in something.
2. Gothitelle
[pimg]606[/pimg]
@ Choice Scarf
252 Atk / 252 Spe / 6 SpD
Nature: Timid
Ability: Shadow Tag
Moves:
-Psychic
-Thunderbolt
-Hidden Power Fire
-Trick
Oh, Gothitelle. Ever since your ability has been released, your beautiful IN BATTLE, not looks. This is usually my lead pokemon to all who are wondering since I can just (the kicker/annoyer of many people who played against me, so get this) trick my Choice Scarf and my opponent does a set up move. HA! Though this would be a perfect time to use a Calm Mind set with this and set up while he has you corned, but I feel that would be too risky and gimmicky to do that. But anyway, Gothitelle should now be OU, or dare I say it; Ubers. Just because using Shadow Tag, then Trick a Choice Item, then set up and sweep could be one of the most deadly things. Strangely, I don't do that. I'd think about taking out the Hidden Power Fire for this. (actually that seems like a really good idea, you can try that if you want. Now I might try that and change HP Fire to Calm Mind. I might do that later, but anyway,) So yes, the moves. Another self-explanitory thing. Psychic, Thunderbolt, and HP Fire are all coverage moves and Trick makes Gothitelle a badass. That's pretty much it. Moving on.
3. Scizor
[pimg]212[/pimg]
@ Choice Band
252 Atk / 252 HP / 6 Spe
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Technician
Moves:
-Bullet Punch
-U-Turn
-Superpower
-Pursuit
Shadow Tag, Arena Trap, then all of the sudden: Scizor. Why? Because, again, 2 reasons. 1. Good Overall Pokemon. 2. He IS a trapper. Do you not understand? Pursuit? Yeah. That's why I use him. Not only that, but Scizor has great priority, great moves, and oh you know. Good Overall Pokemon that can trap pokemon like Latios, Alakazam, and other Psychics. So Technically (Technician. Heh, PUN!), Scizor does have the abilities that the other Shadow Taggers and Arena Trappers have. So moves: Bullet Punch: Priority. U-turn: Strategies for turning. Superpower: Power. Pursuit: Traps pokemon. That's all you need to know.
4. Wobbuffet
[pimg]202[/pimg]
@ Leftovers
252 HP / 66 Def / 192 SpD
Nature: Sassy
Ability: Shadow Tag
Moves:
-Counter
-Mirror Coat
-Encore
-Safeguard
Oh hey! The ONLY POKEMON in my team that has Leftovers! How fun.
So did you not expect Wobbuffet in a SHADOW TAG TEAM? No? Meh. Wobbuffet is doing great so far. I can just help set up Encore while my opponent does some sort of status move. I'll just do that, switch into Gothitelle, and give you my Choice Item. Again, HA! So Counter, Mirror Coat, used to counter people's crap. And Safeguard. Well it's better than Splash and Splashing Magikarp. You do a Physical Move? Fine. I'll Encore it and Counter you to death. You do a Special Move? Fine. I'll Encore it and Mirror Coat you to death. You do a Status move? Fine. I'll Encore it, Switch into Gothitelle, give you my Choice Scarf, and eventually take you out. That's all you need to know how Wobbuffet works.
5. Dugtrio
[pimg]51[/pimg]
@ Choice Band
252 Atk / 252 Spe / 6 HP
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Arena Trap
Moves:
-Final Gambit
-Earthquake
-Sucker Punch
-Stone Edge
Gotta have more trappers, a fast, feisty one too.
So trap people bla bla bla Earthquake then opponent disconnects. Also, I decided I'd give Dugtrio a move to pierce through defense: Final Gambit. A Move that simply ignores Defense and hits right through the opponent. Strangely, I don't use that move often. I just trap them, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Sucker Punch, and sweep right through. If you want more discriptions, just check out Choice Band Dugtrio. For the third time, It's self-explanitory.
And here you go. The moment you've all been waiting for..........
IT'S DIGLETT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[pimg]50[/pimg]
@ Choice Scarf
252 Spe / 252 HP / 6 Atk
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Arena Trap
Moves:
-Final Gambit
-Earthquake
-Sucker Punch
-Swagger
Here's my explanation about the mind-questioning pokemon: It's Diglett. And yes, It does work in OU with this set if you play it right. This is also the birthplace of their new move: Final Gambit. This is where Diglett comes in: Dugtrio needs that Attack power in order to use those moves like Earthquake, Stone Edge, etc. But where Diglett comes in, I can just EV raise him for 252 HP, and here's what I do mainly. Either I can Final Gambit and do like 220 Damage no matter what thier defense is, or I can have a faster Swagger (Note: Most likely, I'm going to say "DIGLETT GOT ALL THE SWAG!!!" when I use this moves) to not only confuse the target, but make him do more damage to itself, and that's not risky if my opponent's pokemon isn't a Physical attacker. And that's why I use Diglett. He's tougher than you think.
In Conclusion, this team has not only won competitively won other people's teams, but trolled the hell out of them as well. So I think this was worth posting a 5th RMT for this and may this be one of my most creative ideas yet. Obviously, there are a lot of combos with this team I haven't pointed out. But I'm sure that the experts you are can figure that one out for yourself. So my last words: "Trust me: This team, even with Diglett, can tag them to death".
PLEASE, HAVE A FINE DAY TODAY!
So without further ado, my team in person!
[pimg]676-black[/pimg] (Black) [pimg]606[/pimg] [pimg]212[/pimg] [pimg]202[/pimg] [pimg]51[/pimg] [pimg]50[/pimg]
