[SET COMMENTS]

Moves
========
Shell Smash boosts Tirtouga's Attack, Special Attack, and Speed by 2 stages, making Tirtouga a good Pokemon for setting up against naturally faster Pokemon. Stone Edge and Waterfall are powerful STAB moves, the latter of which has a 20% chance to cause the foe to flinch. Zen Headbutt is a better move if you need to hit Croagunk, Foongus, and bulky Fighting-types, while Earthquake is preferred to deal with Chinchou, Croagunk, and Pawniard. Aqua Jet is a useful priority move to deal with Choice Scarf users, Fletchling, and slower Pokemon with priority moves, and to dodge Sucker Punch.

Set Details
========
The combination of Solid Rock — which reduces damage taken from super effective attacks — and 84 HP EVs allows Tirtouga to survive Chinchou's unboosted Thunderbolt, Spritzee's Moonblast, and common Fighting-type priority moves. (period) 100 Speed EVs allow Tirtouga to outspeed almost all Pokemon the tier after a Shell Smash, except for Pokemon with 20 Speed and most Choice Scarf users. An Adamant nature is used to boost Tirtouga's Attack. Also, Solid Rock allows Tirtouga to receive less damage from Croagunk's Vacuum Wave and Timburr's Mach Punch after the Defense and Special Defense decreases from Shell Smash.

Usage Tips
========
This set allows Tirtouga to take less damage from super effective moves. It can easily set up against non-Choice Scarf Chinchou and Flying-types such as Archen. Despite its trait of taking less damage from super effective attacks, it should be sent out only when it's ready to sweep the opponent's team.

Team Options
========
Calm Mind + RestTalk Gothita can be paired with this set in order to deal with Fighting-types and checks such as Porygon, Spritzee, Ferroseed, and Foongus This set can also be paired with a Memento user, as Memento complements Solid Rock by further reducing the damage Tirtuga takes as it sets up. Cottonee is probably the best Memento user for Tirtouga. Stealth Rock can cancel the effect of opposing Pokemon's Sturdy or Focus Sash, therefore making Tirtouga's sweep easier. Tirtouga also has a good synergy with Knock Off users, especially bulky Fighting-types, because they can weaken opposing team members, especially the Pokemon that Tirtouga can't beat alone, such as Porygon, Spritzee, Staryu, and Pokemon with Sturdy and Berry Juice.

Is aqua jet that good that you don't consider it slashable? Imo the set should look something like

move 1: Shell Smash
move 2: Stone Edge
move 3: Zen Headbutt / Earthquake
move 4: Waterfall / Aqua Jet / Earthquake

Stone edge is for power and should be used no matter what. Zen headbutt let's it get past fighting types depending on rolls with just a little prior damage and decimates the Croagunk that you point out walls the set. Earthquake should be only used if the team has a big Pawniard or Chinchou problem.

Set:
  • Change the moves to match fitzy's slashes.
  • Change the ev spread to 84 HP / 212 Atk / 12 Def / 76 SpD / 100 Spe with Adamant. It hits the same speed and Atk as the current spread, but the added bulk lets Tirtouga take advantage of solid rock better, surviving bulky Chinchou's Thunderbolt when unboosted, max SpA Croagunk's Vacuum Wave and Timburr's Mach Punch at -1 Def/SpD, Spritzee's Moonblast at -1 SpD, and probably more stuff I haven't calced yet (credit to Amaura for the spread).
Moves:
  • Just because a move is slashed behind another doesn't mean it doesn't get a mention here. Be sure to mention Earthquake and Aqua Jet here after applying fitzy's slashes.
Set Details:
  • Be sure to mention what the new EV spread lets it survive.
Usage Tips:
  • Never mention another set from the same analysis. Each set is supposed to be seperate, and your writing should reflect that, so remove the first sentence there.
  • Mention that Tirtouga doesn't have to be so wary of switching into Stealth Rock because of the added bulk, as attacks such as bulky Chinchou's Thunderbolt and Spritzee's Moonblast (-1 SpD) can only OHKO 6.3% of the time after SR. Tirtouga should still try to switch in only when it's ready to sweep.
  • Remove the mention of earthquake here and put it in moves.
  • Mention Pokemon that Tirtouga can set up on, meaning Flying-types, Chinchou (if it's not scarf), etc. I'm sure you've used this set, so you should know what goes here.
Team Options:
  • Gothita isn't really needed to beat Fighting-types, as Solid Rock keeps Timburr and Croagunk from KOing with Mach Punch and Vacuum Wave, respectively, and Zen Headbutt allows Tirtouga to beat them after Knock Off and a little prior damage. Instead mention a CM RestTalk set and a Eviolite + Taunt set to trap and beat several of the walls that Tirtouga struggles against, namely Spritzee, Porygon, Ferroseed, and Foongus. Move the mention of Gothita to after Knock Off users, as Gothita being mentioned first implies that Gothita offers the most support.
  • Mention Cottonee as a specific Memento user. The synergy between Tirtouga and Cottonee is phenomenal, as Tirtouga can easily set up on several things that threaten Cottonee.
  • Mention Knock Off users as partners. Fighting-types work great because they can either beat or lure in and weaken stuff that Tirtouga doesn't like.
  • Tirtouga doesn't have to have Stealth Rock support, but it is highly appreciated for the reasons you mentioned and to nab KOes on bulkier stuff.
Since this is a single set that will be added to the current analysis and not a revamp, Other Options and Checks & Counters will not be changed, so remove them. Do al that and QC 1/3

updated and thanks for your check.

I feel like the moves should be changed around and maybe have some different slashes, but I honestly haven't used smash Tirtouga in a long time. Whoever does the 3rd QC check, weigh in on this pls.

Moves:
Boosting Special Attack isn't relevant for this this, remove.
Rearrange this to talk about the moves in order they show up on the set. For example: Shell Smash first, Stone Edge second, etc.
Mention why you'd use Earthquake Vs. Zen Headbutt. Earthquake for Chinchou, OHKOing Pawniard, etc. and Zen Headbutt for Foongus, Fighting-types, etc.
Fletchling is a pretty bad example for what Aqua Jet is helpful for. Maybe say it helps with dodging Sucker Punch instead.

Set Details:
The speed EVs sentence is kinda awkward and leaves out poor Voltorb. Just say something like you outspeed the majority of the metagame and speed tie with 20 speed Pokemon.

Usage Tips:
Tirtouga does not resist super effective attacks!! It just takes less damage than it normally would.
I'd remove mention of setting up on Fire-types because the relevant ones just burn it and stop the sweep.

Team Options:
Don't say that Tirtouga sets up on all of the mons that threaten Cottonee. Foongus, Fire-types, Croagunk, Ferroseed, Magnemite and probably more disprove this. They just have cool typing synergy together.
Expand on why it especially has good synergy with Fighting-types using Knock Off. As Kava said, "Fighting-types work great because they can either beat or lure in and weaken stuff that Tirtouga doesn't like."

Nice work QC 2/3

A big advantage of using this set is pretty easily surviving mach punch/vacuum wave from Timburr/Croagunk which should be mentioned in Set Details.

The Spritzee mention in Usage Tips seems pretty random. Use something like Archen instead.

Update to fit the new format and take this to GP. QC 4/4

Shell Smash boosts Tirtouga's Attack, Special Attack,(add comma) and Speed by 2 stages levels,(add comma) making. This makes Tirtouga a good Pokemon for set-upping setting up against faster ones Pokemon. Stone Edge, is a powerful STAB. and Waterfall is the other are powerful STAB moves, the latter of which has a that deals a good amount of damage and provides to a 20% chance to flinch the opponent. Zen Headbutt is a better move if you need to hit Croagunk, Foongus,(add comma) and bulky Fighting-types, while Earthquake is preferred to deal with Chinchou, Croagunk,(add comma) and Pawniard. Aqua Jet is an a useful priority move to deal with Choice Scarf users scarfed mons, Fletchling,(add comma) and slower mons with priority moves,(add comma) and to dodge Sucker Punch.

Set Details
========
The combination of Solid Rock(add dash) which allows to take reduced damages reduces damage taken from Super-Effective super effective attacks.(period -> dash) In addiction, Tirtouga holds an Eviolite.,(period -> comma) and 84 HP EVs in order to take advantage from Solid Rock in a great way. It can suvrive Thunderbolt of Chinchou when unbolted, allows Tirtouga to survive Chinchou's unboosted Thunderbolt, Spritzee's Moonblast,(add comma) and common Fighting-type priority moves when it has -1 Def/SpDef 212 Atk to deal a good amount of damage with its physical moves. 12 Def to get 17 points. 76 Sp.Def. to get 12 points in this stat. (what? I don't really understand what you're trying to say and it seems rather unnecessary anyway) 100 Speed EVs allow Tirtouga to outspeed almost all the tier after a S(capitalize s)hell S(capitalize s)mash, except for Pokemon with 20 S(capitalize s)peed and the most of Choice Scarf users. Adamant Nature is used to boost its Attack and it doesn't require other stats boosts. Also, Solid Rock allows Tirtouga to resist receive less damage (it technically doesn't "resist") Croagunk's Vacuum Wave and Timburr's Mach Punch after a Shell Smash (what does Shell Smash have to do with this? are you trying to say that even after the defense/special defense decrease, Tirtouga survives these moves because of Solid Rock?).

Usage Tips
========
This set allows Tirtouga to take less damage from super-effective super effective moves even if it doesn't have full health(why would full health reduce damage from super effective moves?). So, it can switch in also when Stealth Rock is set up. (does this have something to do with Sturdy?) It can easily set(add space)up against non-Choice Scarf Chinchou (if it isn't scarfed), and Flying-types such as and Archen. Despite its trait of taking less damage from super-(remove hyphen)effective attacks, it should be put sent out only when it's ready to sweep the opponent's team.

Team Options

It can be paired with Gothita in order to deal with Fighting-types (if Tirtouga doesn't have Zen Headbutt) and with Tirtouga's checks such as Porygon, Spritzee, Ferroseed,(add comma) and Foongus thanks to (which pokemon has this set? specify) Calm Mind + Rest + Sleep Talk set. It can also be paired also with a Memento user, as Memento complements Solid Rock in order to get an easier boost combined to Solid Rock's benefit. Cottonee is probably the best to be paired with partner for Tirtouga. In fact they create a great synergy together. In addition,(add comma) it can be paired with a Stealth Rock user,(add comma) which can cancel the effect of in order to remove the opposing Pokemon's Sturdy,(remove comma) or Focus Sash, and make therefore making the sweep easier. It also has a good synergy with Knock Off users,(add comma) especially with b(lowercase b)ulky Fighting-types,(add comma) used in this role because they can weaken the opposing team members, especially the Pokemon that Tirtouga can't beat alone.
oof, this took quite awhile for such a short analysis. I know proper grammar/spelling isn't your job here, but it'd make things a lot easier for everybody if you paid closer attention to what you typed. The analysis was very hard to follow at some points and there was a gigantic amount of simple errors. One specific thing I noticed is that when stating lists, you forget to put a comma before the penultimate component of the list. ("Red, Blue and Yellow are colors" is incorrect. "Red, Blue, and Yellow are colors" is correct.) Sorry if this sounds rude, just trying to be straightforward.

The sentence structure got a bit shaky in team options, but pretty nice. Make some amchecks soon !_! and tag me on that memento thing

implemented these changes and thanks for the check. Memento complements Solid Rock in the sense that it can set up in a better way against super effective moves after the opposing Pokemon's stats drops, due to Memento.

In addition, if I do an amcheck, do I have to tag you?
