Yeah at the start of the day I was convinced that the scum would vote with me at the end of the day
 
I think on balance, pebble buddied and distanced with Neon and Jal like, basically the same amount

I also think if Pebble were buds with Neon it explains her play this game more rationally than if she were buds with jal because Jal would have helped her more

but then, what that help looks like would possibly be explained by her only ever burstposting as opposed to having some degree of liveposting bc she would've got the feedback from Jal first, and when she did post her posts were good enough

if it were intentional it'd mean neon's scum bc she would've seen the bigger list and went "oh gotta put the bud in the middle to hide it" but it's definitely maybe nothing lol

true, I guess I'd interpret the start of the post as more from memory and then the larger list is where the intentionality would kick in and you'd hide them

which would mean it's Neon both times
 
but maybe she lists it all from memory, notices she wrote jalmont second both times, and then goes back to swap the order in the first list so it's not consistent

but idk why you wouldn't then swap jal in the second list instead of the first if that's what happened so idrk

I'd also be down with phoopes for similar reasons to Jalmont. His only read has been scum on jalmont for wanting to no vote and then not actually placing his own vote anywhere.

if you take the order of pebble's list and place it on the player list, out of the people mentioned it follows the pattern of 6 4 5, 3 1 2

which is a consistent pattern even if it only repeats twice

so she was prob just tryna obfuscate order in general since (idk, at least for me) I pull up the playerlist to refresh memory and make sure I'm not forgetting someone so eh

that's def interesting considering later in the game she and jal voted together consistently

priming to do that on D1 even if they didn't end up on the same wagon would hint at that being intentional strategy, esp as you're right she did try to defend des D1

equally this was her entrance wall post and she named 7/13 players

were people talking about voting Neon? why does she include him at all, if they weren't. People were talking about voting AirC at least, why include neon alongside him at all?

there was a moment that twigged me ages ago where you said something like "I don't think scumchat would've actually been on discord because des doesn't have discord" and jalmont had a kind of awkward response where he backed off immediately

scum would've still been given a discord chat even if they would've had to communicate with des via smogon PM, and I think jal knew that but didn't want to say it

which for me would be bc he would overthink being so confident as scum, rather than just bc he knows that's how it works on Smogon which town would've been quite free to confirm. even if in a "maybe, but usually they'd be given discord anyway" way
