Not open for further replies.
Alright, voting is over!

Congrats to the winners- koista12's Steel/Ice Jirachi and LordHelix's Steel/Dark Aegislash!

Now we have two tiebreakers:

Steel/Water between Solarblade's Wailord and superstrike66's Kabutops and Steel/Fighting between Solarblade's Hitmonchan, koista12's Machamp and LordHelix's Mienshao.

So 24 hour tiebreaker it is, and you can vote for yourself.

In the meantime, the next slate is:

Dragon/Dark, Dragon/Psychic, Dragon/Rock, Dragon/Fighting
Submissions close at the 29th of September

aerodactyl.gif

Pokemon: Aerodactyl
Type:
Dragon.png
Rock.png

Old Stats: 80 / 105 / 65 / 60 / 65 / 130 | BST 515
New Stats: 85 / 125 / 85 / 35 / 85 / 155 | BST 570
Abilities: Levitate / Limber | HA: Rock Head
New Moves: Head Smash, Dragon Tail, U-turn
Removed Moves: Air Cutter, Sky Attack, Wing Attack
Justification/Niche: Aerodactyl is one of Lance’s Pokémon, all the others are Dragon-type and/or belong to the Dragon Egg Group. We can assume Aerodactyl is the also the precursor of dragons.
The new typing enhances its role of Hazard control, because now it’s resistant to Rock-type and it’s a lot faster, which can help him to be a better Suicide Lead (Head Smash also helps its Mega).
Sample moveset:

Hazard Control (Aerodactyl) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate / Limber
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe or 248 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Head Smash / Stone Edge
- Defog
- Stealth Rock
- Dragon Tail / U-turn

Choice Sweeper (Aerodactyl) @ Choice Band
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Head Smash
- Dragon Claw
- Crunch / Elemental Fangs / Double Edge (?) / coverage
- U-turn

Tiebreakers: Solarblade's Wailord for Steel/Water and koista12's Machamp for Steel/Fighting

houndoom.gif

Pokemon: Houndoom
Type:
dragon.gif
dark.gif

BST: 75 / 115 / 75 / 110 / 95 / 100 | BST: 570 (+25 Atk, +25 Def, +15 SpD, +5 Spe)
Abilities: Moxie / Flash Fire / Competitive (HA)
New Moves: Outrage, Dragon Dance, Draco Meteor
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification/Niche: Houndoom is a hell hound, though the Dragon typing refers to Eastern dog dragons (like the one Arcanine is based on). Houndoom is a set-up sweeper that can go physical with Dragon Dance or special with Nasty Plot. Moxie is useful on physical sets, with moves like Pursuit, Sucker Punch, and Outrage. Alternatively, special sets can run Competitive to discourage Defog, Parting Shot, and Intimidate.

lugia.gif

Pokemon: Lugia
Type:
dragon.gif
psychic.gif

BST: 100 / 60 / 120 / 90 / 130 / 70 | BST: 570 (-6 HP, -30 Atk, -10 Def, -24 SpD, -40 Spe)
Abilities: Drizzle / Multiscale (HA)
New Moves: Dragon Pulse, Haze, Will-O-Wisp
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification/Niche: Lugia is said to be based on a Shinto dragon god of the sea. It is very bulky with reliable recovery and Multiscale, with options like Haze to stop set up, Will-O-Wisp and Thunder Wave to weaken or slow opposing attackers, and Dragon Tail to force switches. Drizzle could also be used to turn Lugia into a bulky rain setter, using the same kinds of moves to support its teammates.

tyrantrum.gif

Pokemon: Tyrantrum
Type:
dragon.gif
rock.gif

BST: 120 / 121 / 119 / 69 / 70 / 71 | BST: 570 (+38 HP, +11 SpD)
Abilities: Strong Jaw / Rock Head (HA)
New Moves: Dragon Hammer, Slack Off, Psychic Fangs
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification/Niche: Tyrantrum is a powerful physical attacker with recoil-free STAB Head Smashes due to Rock Head. It also has decent physical bulk, and it has Dragon Dance to set up.

sawk.gif

Pokemon: Sawk
Type:
dragon.gif
fighting.gif

BST: 100 / 125 / 90 / 50 / 90 / 115 | BST: 570 (+25 HP, +15 Def, +20 SpA, +15 SpD, +30 Spe)
Abilities: Sturdy / Iron Fist / Mold Breaker (HA)
New Moves: Mach Punch, Outrage, Dragon Dance
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification/Niche: Dragon warrior? Sawk has access to Iron Fist-boosted Mach Punch and elemental punches for coverage, Dragon Dance to set up, and powerful STABs in Outrage and Close Combat.

archeops.gif

Pokemon: Archeops
Type:
dragon.gif
rock.gif

BST: 80 / 95 / 75 / 125 / 85 / 110 | BST: 570
Abilities
: Defeatist / Levitate (Adaptability)
New Moves: Draco Meteor, Fire Blast, Power Gem
Justification: Archeops is based off the first bird, Archeopteryx, and Dragons have a primeval vibe.
Niche: Fast, strong, special attacker that breaks the normal for Rock types. Archeops has improved bulk as well as two fantastic abilities in Levitate and Adaptability. The former is useful for avoiding Spikes and turning a weakness into an immunity while the latter turns Dracos into nukes and Power Gem into a strong spammable attack. Archeops has good neutral coverage with it's STABs alone, and it has coverage for Steels in the the form of Earth Power and Fire Blast. Lastly, U-turn allows Archeops to pivot out from special tanks like Blissey and Tapu Fini.

garchomp.gif

Pokemon: Garchomp
Type:
dragon.gif
fighting.gif

BST: 103 / 135 / 80 / 60 / 90 / 102 | BST: 570
Abilities
: Intimidate / Aerilate (Rough Skin)
New Moves: Close Combat, Dragon Hammer, Shore Up
Justification/Niche: Chompers wasn't very good at competing with Zygarde, but it's new typing affords a niche as a Dragon that can hit Steel types hard. Dragon Hammer serves as an upgrade to Dragon Claw that has a more respectable base power, while Shore Up harks back to Garchomp's old Ground typing. Aerilate is an interesting ability for Garchomp - it offers a semi STAB on Return, which could be useful for hitting fairies. Intimidate is always a good ability that props up Chomper's weaker defensive stat.

latias.gif

Pokemon: Latias
Type:
dragon.gif
psychic.gif

BST: 90 / 55 / 80 / 115 / 120 / 110 | BST: 570
Abilities
: Levitate (Illusion)
New Moves: Earth Power
Justification/Niche: Illusion comes from Latias's Pokedex entries where it says the its down refracts light and makes it invisible. Latias has always been overshadowed by it's brother in OU, but no more. With it's unique ability to pose as something it isn't, in junction with a good defensive typing and good all around stats, Latias can come in and Defog, drop a Draco, or even Healing Wish a teammate. Earth Power was added for better coverage on Steels and Darks than just HP Fire / Fighting.

hydreigon.gif

Pokemon: Hydreigon
Type:
dragon.gif
dark.gif

BST: 92 / 65 / 90 / 125 / 98 / 100 | BST: 570
Abilities
: Levitate / Regenerator (Mega Launcher)
New Moves: Sludge Wave, Thunderbolt, Sludge Bomb
Justification/Niche: Just some simple buffs so Hydreigon can kick it with the big boys in this meta's OU. Hydreigon suffered from a lack of coverage for fairies, with Flash Cannon hitting most of them neutrally, but that is now rectified with not 1 but 2 poison moves. Thunderbolt is less useful coverage but can hit Celesteela and Pex for SE damage at the same time (among others).

Of course, the real elephant in the room here is Mega Launcher. This powers up both of Hydra's STABs - Dragon Pulse is almost as good as Draco Meteor and both that and Dark Pulse have astounding neutral coverage (besides the aforementioned fairies). Regenerator is flavorful for a Hydra, and defensive sets can use that as well as decent bulk and a cool defensive typing.

Niche: A great offensive rapid spinner thats able to spin away on ghosts thanks to guts and great offensive pressure, can also be a set up sweeper that takes advantage of defiant

I feel bad voting for me, but I prefer my Kabutops over The Wailord (who is still cool, I just don't like it as much).

superstrike66's Kabutops
Solarblade's Hitmonchan

LordHelix Sorry but Primeape is already Electric/Fighting

My votes-

superstrike66's Kabutops (You know what, it's a really close decision between this and voting for myself. Fun fact I wanted to do Water/Steel Kabutops as well and he just has the right tools to take advantage of the type including things like Rapid Spin, so this edges out Wailord after much deliberation).

Koista12's Machamp

So congratulations to these two who have won the tiebreaker!

WIP

gigalith.gif

Pokemon: Gigalith
Type: Rock/Dragon
BST: 85 / 135 / 130 / 40 / 80 / 100 | BST: 570
Abilities
: Sand Rush / No Guard / Chlorophyll
New Moves: Head Smash, Dragon Hammer, Blaze Kick
Justification/Niche: It looks draconic enough. Can make an interesting Chlorophyll sweeper- it normally quad resists Fire so it can still withstand boosted Fire attacks. Plus it it's neutral to Water, which becomes a resist under the sun. It can also have a pseudo-STAB option with Blaze Kick when fighting against Steels that resist its STABs. Also, it absorbs light according to the Dex so Chlorophyll makes sense!

Alternatively, be more resistant to Special Attacks under the Sand with a Sand Rush set- maybe with an Assault Vest. If using outside of weather, No Guard allows you no-miss Blaze Kicks and Stone Edges, which is nice.

throh.gif

Pokemon: Throh
Type: Fighting/Dragon
BST: 120 / 100 / 125 / 30 / 125 / 45 | BST: 570
Abilities
: Analytic, Guts, Contrary
New Moves: Slack Off, Dragon Hammer, Dragon Tail
Justification/Niche: Utility dragon fighter! Take advantage of its low speed with Analytic, and you can boost your pseudohazing Dragon Tail/Circle Throw moves. Or go for Contrary Superpower to boost your stats, and goes well with Assault Vest. Guts uses status to your advantage, to boost its decent 100 Atk.

drapion.gif

Pokemon: Drapion
Type: Dark/Dragon
BST: 70 / 110 / 120 / 60 / 85 / 125 | BST: 570
Abilities
: Tough Claws, Stakeout, Moldbreaker
New Moves: Dragon Dance, Dragon Hammer, Recover
Justification/Niche: It looks pretty draconic. Dark is stronger on the physical side, so a fast, physically-based Drapion could take advantage of the type. It is very weak to Fairies but it does have Poison Jab to hit them on the switch while Earthquake is for Steels. Dark makes it immune to Prankster, so it can be a nice anti-lead. Stakeout can be used for mind games- should the opponent's lead stay in or switch out or risk boosted moves from Stakeout? Could also be interesting with Sucker Punch/Pursuit in its kit.

sigilyph.gif

Pokemon: Sigilyph
Type: Psychic/Dragon
BST: 72 / 58 / 80 / 125 / 120 / 115 | BST: 570
Abilities
: Tinted Lens, Magic Guard, Marvel Scale
New Moves: Draco Meteor, Clanging Scales, Aura Sphere
Justification/Niche: It looks otherworldly enough to be a dragon. Fast, specially-focused attacker with Trick Utility. Both Magic Guard and Marvel Scale allow it to safely wield a Flame Orb that it can then Trick away. Marvel Scale raises its bulk on its weaker Defense stat, which can be good for Calm Mind sets. Magic Guard gives it nice utility as a Defogger. Draco Meteor for a nuke, or Clanging Scales for Dragon STAB that doesn't require switching out. Aura Sphere is for coverage against Dark/Steels.

HP: 95
Atk: 117 => 147
Def: 80
SpA: 65
SpD: 70
Spe: 92 => 103
New Moves: Dragon Dance, Thunder Fang, Ice Fang
Description: Krookodile's speed and attack was a little underwhelming, so those stats get boosted, as well as finally gaining a boosting move that it's always wanted in Dragon Dance.

Type:

fairy-png.138212

BST: 80 / 70 / 80 / 120 / 110 / 110 | BST: 570
Abilities
: Levitate / Flare Boost (Illusion)
New Moves: Moonblast, Boomburst, Flamethrower
Justification/Niche: This is the typing we've all been fantasizing about for Mismagius for 5 years. Fairy / Ghost is a fantastic offensive typing that adds to Mismagius's defensive capabilities, with 3 immunities and a resist. Mismagius also has two solid STABs and useful fire coverage. Illusion comes from Mismagius's Pokedex entries that say it causes its victims to hallucinate, and Flare Boost is extremely fitting for a witch / ghost.

milotic.gif

Pokemon: Milotic
Type:

Fairy.png

BST: 95 / 60 / 85 / 120 / 130 / 80 | BST: 570
Abilities
: Marvel Scale / Cute Charm (Competitive)
New Moves: Moonblast
Justification/Niche: Another fan favorite, Milotic craves the resists and immunities that Fairy type offer, while also appreciating the offensive capabilities of Moonblast. Both competitive and Marvel Scale have their uses - one discourages Defog while the other discourages status. Milotic may have a shallow movepool, but it doesn't need much to Dragons like from our last slate to hell and back.

New moves: Recover, Focus Blast, Calm Mind
Niche: my child now actually has recovery and good bulk to take advantage of typing. Its very versatile now, its a nice defogger that beats alot of rockers by virtue of typing and bulk, its also an offensive tr user thats not weak to ghost/dark
And trace is really cool underutilized ability that allows it to switch into defensive mons and trace magic guard/regenerator

Abilities: Prankster / Magician (HA)
New Moves: Stealth Rock, Will-O-Wisp, Recover
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification/Niche: Prankster support. Klefki can use Prankster with Spikes, Stealth Rock, status-inflicting moves, Recover, and Defog to support its team.

Abilities: Filter / Huge Power / Sap Sipper (HA)
New Moves: Moonblast, Wish, Bulk Up
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification/Niche: Azumarill is a physical sweeper with Huge Power and Belly Drum. It now can run special sets with Hydro Pump and Moonblast, and Sap Sipper removes a weakness while Filter lowers the damage from all weaknesses for bulkier sets.

mimikyu.gif

Pokemon: Mimikyu
Type:

Abilities: Disguise
New Moves: Spirit Shackle, Sucker Punch, Pursuit
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification/Niche: Mimikyu plays its usual role, a revenge killer with Disguise taking any one hit. It has higher base attack and much better special bulk and speed, along with a stronger Ghost STAB in Spirit Shackle. Sucker Punch and Pursuit, while lacking STAB, allow it to beat weakened opponents either trying to attack it or switching out.

Abilities: Flower Veil / Triage / Natural Cure (HA)
New Moves: Wish, Strength Sap, Moonblast
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification/Niche: Comfey is a Triage cleric with STABs Giga Drain and Draining Kiss with multiple healing moves like Wish and Strength Sap that all gain +3 priority. If not using Triage, Flower Veil now protects Comfey from status, allowing it to act as a status sponge for team.

Pokemon
: Mawile
Type:
fairy.gif
steel.gif

BST: 95 / 135 / 135 / 65 / 65 / 65 (560 BST)
Abilities: Strong Jaw / Intimidate / Hyper Cutter (HA)
New Moves: Superpower, Bullet Punch
Justification/Niche: Strong damage dealer who can function before mega evolving into a stronger but less defensive mon. Nice offensive stats give her the ability to also be run as a non-mega physical Fairy, which there isn't a great amount of.

Made a quick submission, so there.

Pokemon: Phione
Type: Water => Water/Fairy
Abilities: Hydration, Swift Swim

Stats: HP: 80
Atk: 80 => 50 (-30)
Def: 80 => 100 (+20)
SpA: 80 => 130 (+50)
SpD: 80 => 100 (+20)
Spe: 80 => 110 (+30)
New Moves: Quiver Dance, Moonblast, Psychic

Let's face it: Phione is really useless, and is completely outclassed by Manaphy. However, Phione gains a fairy typing, a scary boosting move in Quiver Dance, and becomes the second fastest swift swimmer.

may do the others later

florges.gif

Name: Florges
Typing
: Fairy/Grass
Abilities: Triage, Harvest, Regenerator
Stats: 78 / 55 / 85 / 112 / 154 / 86
New moves: Recover, Earth Power, Fire Blast
Justification/Niche: Obligatory Grass/Fairy Florges retype. Gives a lot more resistances with bumped up speed and defense for even better damage soaking. Triage allows it to perform cleric duties well, while Regenerator is great for special sponge sets or utility sets that utilise Defog.

gorebyss.gif

Name: Gorebyss
Typing
: Fairy/Water
Abilities: Swift Swim, Marvel Scale, Multiscale
Stats: 65 / 84 / 105 / 119 / 92 / 105
New moves: Moonblast, Recover, Calm Mind
Justification/Niche: It learns Draining Kiss and is pink...good enough for a fairy? Since it evolves with the Deep Sea Scale, I gave it scale-related abilities. Swift Swim is always a good pick for Rain teams, but for general use, Marvel Scale gives it even more defensive bulk with status, or Multiscale allows it to boost easier. If you like your defenses, you can go for Calm Mind instead of the immediate power of Shell Smash.

carbink.gif

Name: Carbink
Typing
: Fairy/Steel
Abilities: Regenerator, Analytic, Magic Bounce
Stats: 70 / 105 / 150 / 50 / 150 / 45
New moves: Shore Up, Earthquake, Play Rough
Justification/Niche: Well its colour scheme is quite metallic to be Steel. A much better defensive typing allows it to take advantage of its defensive stats better. Has a nice niche of being a great Trick Room user - Magic Bounce protects it from both status and Taunt so it can guarantee Trick Room. Low speed makes for some powerful Gyro Balls- outside Trick Room, you can even double the power with Analytic. Regenerator adds even more longevity.

gourgeist.gif

Name: Gourgeist
Typing
: Fairy/Ghost
Abilities: Prankster, Regenerator, Chlorophyll
Stats: 85 / 58 / 122 / 105 / 95 / 105
New moves: Moonblast, Recover, Nasty Plot
Justification/Niche: Halloween brings out all the pranksters and the faeries. All the different sizes will have this spread for simplicity. Prankster allows it to use its nice support pool for priority Will-o-wisp, Leech Seed and Recover. Or just go Prankster Nasty Plot to set up. Fairy/Ghost only has two weaknesses, so Regenerator can be great when absorbing hits and switching in and out to absorb Dragon/Normal/Fighting moves. It is only weak to Steel and Ghost- it can deal with Ghosts with its own moves and for Steel types- it has access to Fire moves like Fire Blast. Interestingly, you can make it a Sun sweeper, utilising the Sun boost to power-up your Fire moves for a pseudo-Fire STAB to battle Steel types. More variety in Chlorophyll sweepers would also be nice, it has a quad-resistance to Bug so you can switch out your Grass Sun sweepers to Gourgeist when expecting U-turns or something.

LordHelix Sorry Aromatisse is already Poison/Fairy. I should have noticed sooner but I mistook the Poison/Fairy winner for someone else. Would've been a nice idea though. If you want you can quickly change it.

Just gonna be a bit busy so I'll open the voting now

Fairy/Steel: Someone's Pokemon
