I notice most of the moves so far are based on a concept of hitting your enemy with literal food, as well as food puns in general. Might as well stop lurking this thread and just post some stuff. I’ve honestly been waiting for a Food type to win tbh and I’m pretty excited that it finally won.

So Z-move name: 5 Star Feast

Ladle Whack: [90 BP] [Makes Contact] [100% Accuracy] [16 PP] [Z-move: 145 BP 5 Star Feast] No additional effect.

The user pulls out a kitchen utensil and gives its opponent a good smack for its disobedience.
Explanation: Basic Physical attack for the typing.

Flambé: [80 BP] [Makes Contact] [100% Accuracy] [PP: 24] [Z-move: 130 BP 5 Star Frenzy] 30% chance to burn the target

The user sets themselves on fire and then rushes at the opponent.
Explanation: Physical Scald. Enough said.

Grape Rush: (if you’ve watched My Hero Academia then you’ll get the reference) [40 BP] [Makes Contact] [Priority +1] [16 PP] [100% Accuracy] [Z-move: 100 BP 5 Star Feast] 100% chance to flinch. Can only be used at the start of your turn.

The user harnesses the berry juices swirling from within them and moves at mach speed, catching their opponent completely off guard.
Explanation: Priority move for the Food type.

Vomit: [65 BP] [Does not make Contact] [12 PP] [100% Accuracy] [Z-move: 120 BP 5 Star Feast] If a Berry was already eaten in the item slot, then this has double the BP. This does not work with Recycle.

The user starts to become queasy and eventually gags out whatever they’ve had as their last meal.
Explanation: Snorlax now has a strong Food STAB to abuse by using the infamous Belly Drum+50% Berry combination. Also a cool move for some Salac sweep cheese.

Starving Desperation: [105 BP] [Makes Contact] [16 PP] [85% Accuracy] [Z-move: 160 BP 5 Star Feast] Steals the opponent’s Berry and immediately eats it to gain its effects or steals the opponent’s Leftovers or Honey if your Pokemon’s item slot is empty.

The user is overcome by famine and ambushes the opponent, stealing any food they could possibly get their hands on.
Explanation: A strong move that could also steal an item. Good shit.

Berry Burst: [90 BP] [Does not make Contact] [100% Accuracy] [Z-move: 140 BP 5 Star Feast] No additional effect.

The user presents a tray of berries that explode in the opponent’s face.
Explanation: Basic Special move.

Nauseous Gas: [75 BP] [Does not make Contact] [100% Accuracy] [24 PP] [Z-move: 125 BP 5 Star Feast] 30% chance to Poison the target. If a Berry was eaten in the item slot, then this chance is doubled.

The user expels an odorous gas from their rear end that suffocates their opponent.
Explanation: It already has a nice chance to Poison but if you eat your Berry then you get to Serene Grace levels of stupid. May the hax gods be with you!

Frozen Leftovers: [85 BP] [Does not make Contact] [100% Accuracy] [16 PP] [Z-move: 135 BP 5 Star Feast] This move is supereffective on Dragon types. This move has a 10% chance to Freeze the target.

The user uses frozen food that they saved for later and harnesses it’s freezing powers.
Explanation: A good old Freeze-Dry clone to break Dragon types for a Food sweeper.

Figy Pudding: [8 PP] [Not Bouncable] The user’s stats go up by one stage at the cost of using their Figy Berry to make this meal. This does not work with Recycle.

The user cooks up a storm and with their Figy Berry, creates the legendary dessert of the Pokémon world, Figy Pudding.
Explanation: This move is as hilarious as it is brutal (along with some clever wordplay). This is pretty much a Z-Happy Hour in one move at the cost of making sure you keep your Pokémon healthy so that it doesn’t activate the Figy Berry beforehand. It also has to watch out for Knock Off or else that could immediately stop the sweep.

Picnic: [8 PP] [Not Bouncable] [Z-move: Heals user back to full health] Your side of the field receives the Picnic effect. Whenever a Pokémon switches in to the Picnic, they receive the specific Berry that heals their status ailment and immediately eats it. Lasts for 5 turns. The Picnic immediately ends if any Pokémon on your side is hit by a Bug type move.

The user brings a basket full of delicious berries and begins a picnic for their team!
Explanation: I didn’t want to make this a full Healing Stones clone so I decided to have this effect cure status ailments with berries instead. Bugs end this effect due to infestations.

Early Snack: [8 PP] [Not Bouncable] [Z-power: restores all negative stat changes] The user immediately eats the Berry in their item slot. This does not work with Recycle.

The user gives in to temptation and munches on their berry.
Explanation: It’s a move that lets you immediately eat your berry. This pretty much let’s Pokemon like Slurpuff get their Unburden boost early if they don’t want to be risky with Belly Drum.

Fatten Up: [12 PP] [Bouncable] [Z-power: +1 Defense] [75% Accuracy] The opposing Pokémon receives the Full status effect.

Full: This Pokémon’s Food type moves are disabled until they switch out and it cannot eat Berries or use Leftovers or Honey for the rest of the game unless alleviated with Heal Bell or Aromatherapy.

The user force feeds the opposing Pokémon with delectable food and fills its belly up to the point that it’s bursting at the seems.
Explanation: This is a nice move that can disrupt Stall’s passive recovery. This also lets you prevent a sweep if played correctly.

I’m glad that I can participate.

Edit: What I mean by it doesn’t work with Recycle is that you can’t keep stacking the effect by Recycling the Berry and then eating it again. It is only a one time effect. This is to prevent any loopholes.

I don't want to influence you, but scoopapa's Consume + Harvest seems like a dope combo

You can vote for a maximum of 35 moves and a minimum of 20 moves. This is to avoid that the results get prevaricated by people voting for only 5 or 10 moves, like it already happened before. Self-votes are allowed.

Additionally, you can vote for 1 Z-Move, and this can't be a self-votes. You can also vote for as much move modifications as you want.

Gravity Monkey I think this is a good time to close the voting phase, since we didn't get that much vote and I feel like voting for moves should have shorter time since every second part of voting from this on only have moves, while the rest are in first phase.

I will do it when I find the time, I'm really busy with school this week. Sorry for this delay, if any council member wants to count the votes they can, I'm not forcing anybody though. If nobody does, I'll probably close this phase between tomorrow and friday.

Alright, next phase up in not that much time.

I could change mine to "Disgust" or "Nauseate" maybe

Yeah my description is the Pokémon literally vomiting so I’m cool with that also I’d like Early Snack to be removed because this move is basically a worse Consume.

Edit: Ok that works too. Thanks!

Also, I think it's dumb to have different moves called Food Frenzy and Feeding Frenzy (tbh Feeding Frenzy was the phrase I was looking for too, but I temporarily forgot English). I'm suggesting Overcook as an alternative name for Food Frenzy (as the move is an analogue of Overheat).

Still trying to think of something for Famine. The concept was that "in a famine, you are willing to eat things you otherwise wouldn't", which is why it adds a Food type to pokemon that don't normally have it ( i.e. Magneton suddenly becoming food ), if anyone has any ideas for another name for that I'm open to suggestions.

What about OverEAT?

We could give Consume a limited distribution, so Early Snack could still see uses
There are probably a few situations like this, some of these 120 BP attacks will outclass everything else if given broad distrubution ( these kinds of attacks, 120 BP with useable accuracy and no other drawbacks, like Power Whip, are pretty rare ( only Grass has a non-legendary one off the top of my head ) and don't have huge distribution even within their type. )

If hunger status is going to be a thing could I change Hunger Wave to be 80 BP with 30% chance to inflict Hunger ( instead of 85 BP with 30% chance to lower SpA )?

Also I'll change my Famine to Appetize

Edit: Also I just noticed that the type chart has Food resisting Bug rather than Ghost. It should resist Ghost and be neutral to Bug.
