Pet Mod Ubermons - Concluded

:ss/darkrai:
Pokémon: Darkrai
Changes: Ability, Stats, Moves
Types: Dark
Abilities: Bad Dreams (Sleeping Pokémon lose 1/8th of their max HP at the end of each turn, but awaken from sleep twice as fast)
Stats: 75 / 100 / 90 / 125 / 105 / 105 (600 BST)
Movepool Changes: - Sludge Bomb, + Poison Jab, Dark Void (75% accuracy)
Description: With a more reasonable speed tier of 105, Darkrai is a fair bit easier to outspeed, and the change to Bad Dreams means it's much harder for it to abuse sleep even with the accuracy-buffed Dark Void. Though it can still use Spacial Rend to have perfect-accuracy sleep, giving all of its sleep targets Early Bird means that most will only sleep for a single turn, and some will even wake up instantly, effectively wasting a turn. Replacing Sludge Bomb with Poison Jab forces Darkrai to go mixed if it wants to hit Fairies, and while its lower Attack is made up for by most Fairies having lower Defense, Poison Jab doesn't benefit from Nasty Plot.

Changes: Stats, Moves
Types: Dark
Abilities: Bad Dreams
Stats: 70 / 90 / 75 / 125 / 75 / 115 (550 BST)
Movepool Changes: - Nasty Plot
Description: Darkrai is now a glass cannon with the added perk of being able to put stuff to sleep. No Nasty Plot means it can't abuse the forced switches that sleep causes to set up, instead having to rely on prediction with its coverage. The most important stat nerf is its Spe, which goes down to 115, now outsped by Weavile, Tornadus-T, Dragapult, Kyurem-W, and Zekrom.

I meant to post this yesterday, but I forgor

Essentially since we all agree that Darkrai is broken, I will now move onto the submission slate ofiicially.

There isn't much to say here, except a few things:

- Must keep a BST of 600
- No type/ability changes

- Movepool changes are allowed
- You are allowed to change stats (but like I said no BST)
- You are allowed to change Dark Void and Bad Dreams

This slate will close once the suspect is supposed to end.
Pinging G-Luke Z-nogyroP and koista12 to adjust their subs to the new rules

Types: Dark
Abilities: Bad Dreams (New Effect: Every opposing mon is treated as if its asleep, can't sleep opposing mons)
Stats: 75 / 110 / 75 / 135 / 100 / 105 (600 BST)
Movepool Changes: - Sludge Bomb, Nasty Plot
Dark Void - Parting Shot clone that reduces defense and special defense instead, 100% Accuracy.
Description: A very distinct take on darkrai, this mon acts if any mon is currently asleep, making it less of a sweeper and more of a mon designed to be an annoyance. Sub sets can make use of nightmare tp deal a lot of passive damage and it can make use of dream eater as coverage, it can also choose to use swords dance but is otherwise slightly inferior to weavile in that aspect. It is outspeed by a lot more mons in this meta and u-turn weakness makes it easy for pivot around it safely.

Stats: 90 / 120 / 85 / 125 / 85 / 115 (600 BST)
Movepool Changes: - Nasty Plot, - Sludge Bomb
Dark Void: 75% Accuracy, Single target, Puts the target to Sleep
Description: Yes, its a good user of Sleep. Once you blow that and the opponent switches out, you're left with a slightly better Zoroark clone that is forced to go mixed.

Some changes due to the mandatory 600 BST, but shouldn't be anything drastic. Darkrai has moderate bulk for its new Speed tier of 115, which allows it to be outsped by Weavile, Tornadus-T, Dragapult, Kyurem-W, and Zekrom. I changed Dark Void to be a Sleep Powder clone, which may seem crazy to some in combination with Bad Dreams, but honestly, Sleep is only alright what with Sleep Clause and Terrains running around. Its new Atk stat of 120 may seem like a lot, but it can pretty much only use Sucker Punch and Poison Jab. Speaking of which, Darkrai is forced to use Poison Jab if it wants to do anything to fairies, as I removed Sludge Bomb. No Nasty Plot is standard fare as that would likely push Sleep abuse over the edge. With a higher power metagame, Darkrai should fit in fine while not being overbearing.

Types:

Stats: 70 HP / 110 Atk / 90 Def / 125 SpA / 90 SpD / 110 Spe [BST: 600]
Movepool Changes: -Sludge Bomb, -Thunder
Custom Effects: Dark Void - 65% Acc. Perfect acc against Dark, Ghost and Bug type Pokémon.
Description: Darkrai had it's speed scaled down to the common 110 speed tier, while losing 10 SpA and Sludge Bomb leave it unable to punch holes into Fairies, it's biggest natural check. Also axed Thunder so Electrium Z didn't go off either. For them it relies on sleep inducing with Dark Void or breaking past them with a Z-Move. Even so, Darkrai is a menace to face.

Congratulations to them! With one last suspect left, I think we should get it out of the way now.

Slate 22: Toxicity
:ss/naganadel:

Unlike the last two suspects, you will be able to submit changes from the start. Naganadel will be playable from the start still and you can play with it to find other ways to nerf it.

Naganadel is pretty strong with its coverage, good offenses, Nasty Plot, Beast Boost and Z-Moves. Thus nerfing one or more aspect of them is necessary.

Rules:
- Must have prime numbers as stats
- BST should stay 540. Alternatively, you can go up to 570 as long as the spread is balanced
- Movepool changes are allowed
- Naganadel must only have Beast Boost
- Type changes are allowed, but it has to be part Poison

This slate will last a week. Have Fun!

Types: Poison/Bug
Abilities: Beast Boost
Stats: 73/127/73/73/73/121 [540]
Movepool Changes: +Swords Dance, +Drill Run, -Draco Meteor, -Dragon Dance
Description: Hmm it's Mega Beedrill with weaker stats, an item slot (for boots) and Spikes, which sounds neat. Needs to go mixed to cover metal birds, though you probably just U-Turn to Zone instead.

Changes: Typing, Stats, Movepool
Types: Poison/Bug
Abilities: Beast Boost
Stats: 73 / 103 / 73 / 127 / 73 / 121 (570 BST)
Movepool Changes: +Bug Buzz, Swords Dance -Draco Meteor, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Nasty Plot
Description: Bug Naganadel Bug Naganadel. Naganadel looses its precious Dragon-typing for a much worse Bug-typing as its worse offensively & makes it weak to rocks. It also looses Nasty Plot & Its best Special Fire moves, leaving it with Heat Wave which isn't the worst. However, it gains some new light in STAB U-Turn & Physical sets. SD & DD allows for nice physical set up though it does have worse physical coverage though Poison/Bug/Dark does hit a lot. It also still has Spikes & TSpikes for potential Spikes stack.

Pokémon: Naganadel
Changes: Movepool
Types:

Abilities: Beast Boost
Stats: 73 HP / 73 Atk / 73 Def / 127 SpA / 73 SpD / 121 Spe (540 BST)
Movepool Changes: -Nasty Plot
Description: More easily checkable with Nasty Plot out of the equation.

Pokémon: Naganadel
Changes: Stats, Moves
Types: Poison / Dragon
Abilities: Beast Boost
Stats: 71 / 89 / 73 / 127 / 73 / 107 (540 BST)
Movepool Changes: - Nasty Plot, + Sticky Web
Description: These adjustments change Naganadel from a highly efficient sweeper into a powerful lead for HO teams. The big change here is Sticky Web - OU has never had a good setter and webs are pretty bad to begin with this generation due to Heavy Duty Boots. Naganadel as changed here would be an alright Pokémon outside of Sticky Web, but without Nasty Plot it lacks that extra je ne sais quoi that would give it a real niche in OU. With Sticky Web, it gains a powerful niche as an HO hazard setter that can use amazing coverage to force switches, a la Greninja. And while its powerful and has utility, the speed reduction means that it will pretty much never be sweeping teams, just busting holes in them.

(Also its super flavorful cuz Poipole's dex entries always talk about how sticky and viscous it is)

Types:

Abilities: Beast Boost
Stats: 83/83/73/127/73/101 (540)
Movepool Changes: -Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Nasty Plot | +Calm Mind, Heal Order, Earthquake
Description: With the nerfed speed, it no longer as a Speed Boost after grapping a KO. Furthermore, the removal of Fire coverage and Nasty Plot significantly removes a huge part of its threat potential. Calm Mind and Hidden Power Fire are still there to make it usable at the very least. Heal Order and Earthquake also allow for more variety in sets.

Also a small announcement:
The Darkrai changes are fully functional on DH now! Furthermore, there is a Doubles format, for those who are interested.

Sample Sets ::naganadel:
Description: We are dealing here with a Naganadel oriented on physical attack. His new typing giving him only one weakness makes it possible to better realize his role as a setup sweeper. It also gains interesting options like Taunt and Roost, but also Hone Claws which can be a usable alternative to DD. Finally a set HdB with Spikes/TSpikesn+ U-Turn and choice band are also possible with Assurance and U-Turn. This Naganadel will be in direct competition with Weavile, Necrozma-Ultra. This Naganadel will be in direct competition with Weavile et Necrozma-Ultra, but clearly has its niche with its interesting options.
