Servus and welcome to Ubermons for Generation 9! In this Pet Mod, we will adjust Ubers and banned aspects for National Dex OU play. The goal is to make every single ban, viable and healthy part of the metagame. Pokémon that were part of a Slate are going to be changed, if the Pokémon are too strong or too weak, as a result of their nerfs being not enough or too much.

The rules of the slates will vary based on the chosen suspects. General rules apply to groups of Pokemon and counterpart situations, but the slates will consist of 2-4 Pokémon, although the number can be higher/lower on certain slates.

There are some general rules, like Paradox Pokemon having a BST 570/590, Mythicals having a BST of 600 and so on. Some Ubers are better than others, and thus, for example, some Box Legendaries will have higher BST than others (for example, Solgaleo will have less restrictions since it is worse Kyogre).

Abilities:
Stats:
Movepool Changes:
Description: (This is an essential part of the submission, just like the other aspects)

In the voting phase, users vote for their preferred submissions and the winning submissions are added to the role compendium and spreadsheet.
The voting format is as follows:

Role in question: 1st preferred option, 2nd preferred option, 3rd preferred option.
Note: These self voting rules and the explanation are from good user lyd, slightly adapted to fit this pet mod
If you want to vote for yourself now, it gets slightly more complicated. You can always keep voting for yourself as second, but you can change the order a bit, for as long as the number of self-votes equals 2x the number of submissions you made. Let's use some examples to make it more understandable:

Stallbreaker: Yoshiblaze, Lyd, Ludicrousity
Special Wall: Ludicrousity, Lyd, Yoshiblaze
Defensive Pivot: Ludicrousity, Lyd, Yoshiblaze

So this voting format is good, cuz' Lyd voted for himself as second three times, and when you add everything up, he gave himself 6 votes, which is fine, as it is exactly the number of submissions he made for the slate x2. However, say he liked his Stallbreaker submission a lot, and he really wants it to win, he can play around with his votes a little bit:

Stallbreaker: Lyd, Yoshiblaze, Ludicrousity
Special Wall: Ludicrousity, Lyd, Yoshiblaze
Defensive Pivot: Ludicrousity, Yoshiblaze, Lyd

So to make his Stallbreaker first vote, he moved his Defensive Pivot self-vote to last. Makes sense, right? And when you add up the votes, 3 + 2 + 1 = 6 which is exactly what he wants. Let's say that he likes his Special Wall and Defensive Pivot submissions more, and he didn't like his Stallbreaker submission too much. He can do this:

Stallbreaker: Yoshiblaze, Ludicrousity, G-Luke
Special Wall: Lyd, Ludicrousity, Yoshiblaze
Defensive Pivot: Lyd, Ludicrousity, Yoshiblaze

3 + 3 adds up to six, so he's good to that. Small note that this can't be done if he made no Stallbreaker submission because if that was the case, the number of submissions he made x2 would actually end up as 4, which isn't enough. Also, had he only made a single submission, he'd always have to self-vote as #2 or lower because making only one submission gives him only two self-vote points. We hope that was clear, if you had any trouble to understand this, feel free to PM anyone from the council and we'll explain it as best as we can.

Side Note: Since Terastallization is a huge factor in a lot of those bans, it will be adjusted sometime in the mod. However, for the start it will be banned.
*These Pokemon have been unbanned due to the ban of Terastal

Before Slate 1 starts, I quickly wanted to announce that Terastal will be banned for the time being. As a result, a few Pokemon get unbanned, those being Terapagos, Regieleki, Espathra and Shedinja. Terastal will be addressed at a few slates from now, since I want it to be a part of the mod, but it will be changed since it is a key element in pushing some Pokemon over the edge.

Slate 1: Come As You Are
:sv/ogerpon-hearthflame::sv/urshifu::sv/landorus:

Here are the restrictions for the Pokemon:
:ogerpon-hearthflame:
Must keep its BST of 550
Must keep its typing
You are allowed to change its ability
You are allowed to change Ivy Cudgel (I will allow it, since Wellspring was a suspect, but changing it too drastically isn't allowed)
You are NOT allowed to change its stats

:landorus:
Must keep its BST of 600
You are allowed to change its ability
Movepool changes will affect Landorus-T, keep that in mind

:urshifu:
Must keep its BST of 550
You are allowed to rearrange the stats
You are allowed to change Wicked Blow
You are allowed to add/remove moves, as long as they don't impact Urshifu-Rapid-Strike

Submissions last for 5 days.
Have Fun!

Pokémon: Landorus
Types: Ground/Flying
Abilities: Prankster, Defiant
Stats: 84/115/70/125/80/106
Movepool Changes: +Acrobatics
Description: Adjusting this guy to be like the other genies. Abilities match the other two, and stats are more similar, and most importantly no sheer force! Still a strong special attacker, now with prankster utility, and phys potential with acrobatics and a nice speed tier.
:sv/landorus-therian:
Pokémon: Landorus-Therian
Movepool Changes: +Acrobatics
Description: nvm lol the mon just gets acro

:sv/ogerpon-hearthflame:
Pokémon: Ogerpon-Hearthflame
Changes: Ivy Cudgel no longer has a high Crit Chance (If the tera form is re-allowed, swap the Embody Aspects of the Rock and Fire ones)
Types: Grass/Fire
Abilities: Mold Breaker
Stats: 80/120/84/60/96/110 (no changes)
Movepool Changes: -Play Rough, Stomping Tantrum
Description: Hearthflame is broken because of tera. Plain and simple, without that it is still an incredibly powerful mon though. Let’s keep it like that. Same ability and such but with coverage adjustments to drastically increase the number of checks. In addition taking the crit rate off Ivy Cudgel reels back both wellspring and hearthflame enough to be okay imo. And if tera returns, give cornerstone a bigger niche as a strong af breaker as rock is a great offensive type, and this mon can take a bit more defensive utility instead as a nerf. Overall, it stops the mon from spamming effective 360 BP High Crit Cudgels at everything, and limits coverage.

:sv/urshifu:
Pokémon: Urshifu-Single-Strike
Types: Fighting/Dark
Abilities: Unseen Fist
Stats: 115/130/100/63/60/82
Movepool Changes: -Sucker Punch, Iron Head, Swords Dance
Description: Urshifu hits like a freight train. I don’t want to change that. It should, but other mons that hit this hard have significant caveats. So the speed gotta go a bit, but we can use the 15 speed to buff bulk a lot. This makes Shifu incredibly tanky, but is now significantly slower to be way easier to offensively check and harder to run as a nuclear scarfer. Cool as like a gambit alternative you can use throughout a game, and gives Rapid Strike a purpose beyond just rain teams.
Veto Update: Sucker Punch has been removed, alongside SD, and makes the mon less matchup fishy for Lele, and it is kinda frail on the special side, so if there's any fairy type with moonblast or decently strong spatker once the mon is chipped, still really good into hard stall, but just for certain, removing iron head gives a lot more counterplay defensively and makes most fairies more equipped to switch into it, especially once mons like magearna are added to the tier.

Pokémon: Ogerpon-Hearthflame :Ogerpon-Hearthflame:
Changes: Ivy Cudgel now is 90 BP
Types: Grass / Fire
Abilities: Mold Breaker
Stats: 80/120/84/60/96/110 (550)
Movepool Changes: -Power Whip, U-Turn, Play Rough
Description: mon just really needs some bp loss, as it’s mainly carried by its really hard hitting stabs being further boosted by its mask 1.2x. I believe it becomes a bit more balanced as the payoff isn’t nearly as strong, and its water killing power is severely limited to only horn leech, which makes it now a more interesting breaker, rather than just a kill everything without boosting type mon. The loss of u-turn also harms waterpon to a more balanced state, and encourages the usage of the other tools it has.

Pokémon: Landorus-Incarnate :Landorus:
Changes: no mechanical changes
Types: Ground/Flying
Abilities: Sand Force / Competitive
Stats: 89/125/90/115/80/101
Movepool Changes: + Air Slash, Heat Wave
Description: I heart competitive. Makes it a lando side grade rather than sheer force breaker brokemon. Good rocker kinda but since Defog isn’t really that popular it is only somewhat valuable as a rocker

Pokémon: Urshifu-Single-Strike :Urshifu:
Changes: Separate single from rapid statwise
Types: Fighting/Dark
Abilities: Unseen Fist
Stats: 100/130/60/63/100/97
Movepool Changes: -Sucker Punch, Swords Dance, U-Turn
Description: no sucker punch for you Mr single tap. no more uturn too because pivotoid meta shall fall. Switched it’s def and spdef to prevent it from tanking common neutral physical hits as easily as it did, while still preserving the known Moonblast one shot

Pokémon: Ogerpon-Hearthflame :ogerpon-hearthflame:
Changes: -
Types: Grass/Fire
Abilities: Regenerator
Stats: 80/120/84/60/96/110
Movepool Changes: -
Description: Regen gives it some survivability, mitigating rocks damage and allowing it to switch into stuff like Mola repeatedly. Loses Mold Breaker as a result though.

Pokemon: Landorus :landorus:
Changes: -
Types: Ground/Flying
Abilities: Sand Stream/Technician
Stats: 89/125/90/115/80/101
Movepool Changes: +Pluck
Description: Lando-I w/o Sheer Force should mostly balance it out. Sand Stream chips down checks and allows it to use Weather Ball, Technician Pluck to make physical sets slightly more viable.

Pokémon: Urshifu-Single-Strike :urshifu:
Changes: Wicked Blow 75 -> 70 BP
Types: Fighting/Dark
Abilities: Unseen Fist
Stats: 100/130/90/63/80/87
Movepool Changes: -Swords Dance
Description: No SD and slow enough to be checked by Lele ig. Slightly less Def too so it gets chipped easier from physical attacks, but it takes special attacks better now.

Pokémon: Landorus
Changes: -25 sp. attack, +11 hp, +3 def, +11 sp. def
Types: Ground / Flying
Abilities: Sheer Force / Immunity / Cloud Nine
Stats: 101 / 125 / 93 / 90 / 91 / 101
Movepool Changes: -Nasty Plot -Calm Mind
Description: This makes lando-i a much worse sp. attacker as it loses ~13% of its dmg output which makes it much less of a threat (although it gained speed) which alongside losing NP means its no longer just slaming things left and right. THis also pushes its role into stuff like SD or scarf. It also good at able to exert a lot of pressure into passive teams thanks to SD and immunity gives it a good matchup into lando-t, pex, gliscor, and other toxic users

This allows it to still function like a nidoking (without the modest nature tho) while still having sheer force and being able to take advantage of what makes lando-i itself (its better speed than nidoking)

(idt i need to remove CM as CM is way easier to handle thanks to just being weaker initially and idt lando i really can take advantage of it well)

252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 240+ SpD Slowking-Galar: 312-369 (79.1 - 93.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 240+ SpD Slowking-Galar: 257-304 (65.2 - 77.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Pokémon: Urshifu
Changes: becomes a much slower, but bulkier attacker
Types: Dark / Fighting
Abilities: Unseen Fist
Stats: 100/115/135/60/82/65
Movepool Changes:
Description: Instead of a scarfer that runs over offense or a fast attacker with CB that mowes through balance you have more or less a bulkier seutp sweeper. Such a setup sweeper can allow for Cb sets to go ham with the bulk allowing it to survive a lot more things esp with the booster sp. def while bulkier SD sets can take a hit and dish out a big hit against offense. The lower speed btw means that against offense ur likely going to be taking a lot of hits coming in and in a 1v1 scenario ur prob getting hit twice, this can also allow def mons like zapdos, lando-t, gliscor, tusk, rotom-w to get a hit in first

:sv/ogerpon-hearthflame:
Pokémon: Ogerpon-Hearthflame
Changes:
Types: Fire/Grass
Abilities: Mold Breaker
Stats: 80/120/84/60/96/110
Movepool Changes: -Swords Dance -Stomping Tantrum +Rapid Spin +Recover
Description: with tera starting banned i feel ogerpon-hf is a perfectly fine mon... its rocks weak meaning its gonna be taking a lot of chip, and any time its forced out means that it is accumulating a lot more chip, its often times just gonna get stumped by stuff... but if we are gonna nerf it with the assumption of a tera unban down the line (assuming tera stays true to its gen 9 state) then

Removal of swords dance + stomping tantrum allows teams to better handle it, with stomping removal you now have to use superpower which isnt the end of the world but superpower is worse against hitting stuff and also lowers ur attack which means bad guesses forces u out. This also gives it some supportive uses with rapid spin, and ability to use spikes to pressure opponents. or it can just run an AoA set that just pressures the crap out of other mons. Contact on ivy cudgel allows stuff like static zapdos, helmet mons like lando-t, pex, chomp to have much better odds vs it

Ivy Cudgel -> now is contact
Embody Aspect (Hearthflame) -> now increases crit rate by two stages

a few things I forgot to mention for Ogerpon-H, editing stats is forbidden.
So I'm asking for people who edit them, to change their subs

:sv/ogerpon-hearthflame:

Pokémon: Ogerpon-H
Changes: Ability change
Types: Grass/Fire
Abilities: Flame Body (now its post mega ability grants it +1 SpA instead of +1 Atk)
Stats
: 80/120/84/60/96/110 (same as before)
Movepool Changes: -Superpower, -Stomping Tantrum, -Play Rough
Description: Don't fix what's not broken. I don't really think Ogerpon-H is that broken without Tera, but removing some options will help to check both Hearthflame and Wellspring. Flame Body and no Superpower, no Stomping Tantrum means Heatran can safely switch in; no Play Rough means dragons can saefely come in as well.

:sv/landorus:

Pokémon: Landorus
Changes: Ability change
Types: Ground/Flying
Abilities: Sand Force / Wind Rider
Stats
: 89/125/90/115/80/101 (same as before)
Movepool Changes: +Hurricane, Acrobatics
Description: Another no Sheer Force Landorus. Wind Rider is a cool albeit niche ability that comes handy for physical sets. Special sets get Hurricane for those Nasty Plot sets. Acrobatics is another cool option, and maybe one of the few Flying physical STABs options that won't break either Landorus.

:sv/urshifu:

Pokémon: Urshifu
Changes: Move change, movepool change
Types: Dark/Fighting
Abilities: Unseen Fist
Stats: 100 / 130 / 100 / 60 / 60 / 97 (same as before)
Movepool Changes: -Swords Dance, Wicked Blow is now 60 BP
Description: Heavy hitter should hit less hard now. Still gonna nuke hard.

Changes: Movepool change, stats change
Types: Ground/Flying
Abilities: Sheer Force / Defiant
Stats: 89/128/98/89/98/98 [+0/+3/+8/-26/+18/-3]
Movepool Changes:
+ Air Cutter, Air Slash, Ancient Power, Meteor Beam, Power Gem
- Calm Mind, Nasty Plot
Description: Reducing that Special Attack stat and getting rid of its boosting options. Dropping down to below the 100 Speed tier should also make it easier to manage. In exchange for the nerf, giving it some Rock- and Flying-type moves for its toolkit, and a bit of added bulk. Its STAB combo should still do massive damage as expected, but it is now checked by faster threats and unflinching Special walls. Finally, Defiant to match the other genies, and make physical sets that much more interesting of an option. You might think that 89 Special Attack is too low, but thanks to SFLO it is still able to 2HKO a lot of NatDex OU staples if they are not prepared for it.

:sv/urshifu:
Pokémon: Urshifu (Single Strike)
Changes: Stats change, signature move change
Types: Fighting/Dark
Abilities: Unseen Fist
Stats: 100 / 130 / 104 / 72 / 72 / 72 [+0/+0/+4/+9/+12/-25]
Movepool Changes: Wicked Blow's text is now changed to "Always results in a critical hit if the target has not used a move this turn."
Description: Slower but with somewhat better bulk. Change to its move's wording means that priority moves or faster Pokemon are safe from the auto-crit, making it in theory easier to manage. (This also means that, since Protect has priority, that you won't get auto-crit by Wicked Blow when Unseen Fist breaks through your protection).

:sv/ogerpon-hearthflame:
Pokémon: Ogerpon-Hearthflame
Changes: Signature move change
Types: Grass/Fire
Abilities: Mold Breaker
Stats: 80 / 120 / 84 / 60 / 96 / 110
Movepool Changes: Ivy Cudgel - reduce to 90 BP. Only has high crit rate if Ogerpon is Tera'd.
Description: Reduce the effectiveness of Ivy Cudgel, and remove Terastylization as an option for it, and I think this Pokemon doesn't need any more nerfs. Still a scary offensive Pokemon thanks to Mold Breaker and its coverage, but not quite the unstoppable force it proved to be with those strong Cudgels previously.

Pokemon: Landorus
Types: Ground/Flying
Abilities: Sand Force // Defiant
Stats: 89/125/90/115/80/101
Movepool Changes: +Air Slash, -Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave
Description: Loosing Sheer Force is a major downside and the entire reason this is broken. I dropped Poison coverage so now Fairy-types can't be hit super effectively but overall, nothing major. Air Slash being added gives Landorus more reason to go mixed or special.

Servus! Time for some feedback. Before I get into this however, Darkrai will be banned from the mod, for now, due to its ban in National Dex. It will be featured in a slate in the near future, so be tuned for that.

:landorus: - For the record, I did an oopsie, so the stat changes won't affect the Therian forme.
:urshifu: - The issue with it is that it hits super hard. The low speed, while having many new interactions, can be minigated by Sucker Punch and it still has great breaking potential against slower teams, especially with Jolly being less valuable, due to the low speed. (VETO)

:ogerpon-hearthflame: - I allowed movepool changes, but I don't like the thought process of removing two STABs from every forme. Removing some coverage or utility from it is fine, since some Ogerpons are borderline too much, but removing Wood Hammer and Power Whip make Hearthflame unnecessarily weaker, which it already is with no tera. (VETO)

:urshifu: - I like your approach on it, but Wicked Blow is still a really strong move, especially (similar to Jrdyop) now that it can run Adamant more often. This isn't a veto, since I believe it is more balanced, but reducing Wicked Blow should be safe.

:urshifu: - Gen 8 Urshifu is still strong. I don't think removing SD will be enough. (VETO)

:landorus: - If you want to make Sheer Force Landorus balanced, you should go further with nerfing it. Nidoking already has incredible breaking power but you gave it way better speed and actual physical power, that it, not only, can utilize well but also are borderline too strong. I would reduce its fire power or speed by a significant margine. (VETO)
:ogerpon-hearthflame: - I didn't mention this since I thought it was obvious, but Ogerpon cannot have two abilities. You gotta stick with one, to keep consistant with the others. Otherwise it looks good.

:landorus: - The submission is fine, but you gotta remember that Landorus-Therian also gets all those moves. I would advise you to remove some of the options that are too good for Therian.

:urshifu: - Many subs like this huh. Anyways, I would remove the Attack boost it gets. Similar subs didn't decrease Wicked Blow power, so that's why they are so strong, but I don't think Urshifu needs any compensation for nerfing its broken signature move. (VETO)

Submissions are still open for 2 days.

Pokémon: Urshifu-S
Changes: Signature Move, Movepool, Stats
Types: Fighting/Dark
Abilities: Unseen Fist
Stats: 100/120/100/73/60/97
Movepool Changes: -Swords Dance
Wicked Blow: 120BP Physical Dark-Type Contact Blood Moon Clone. (120BP/Dark/5-8PP/Physical/Contact/Cannot be used 2 turns in a row.)
Description: Kinda leaned into the "single strike" idea for Wicked Blow change, but most importantly, it makes Choiced sets much harder to justify and, with Swords Dance removal, its setup capabilities are limited as well.

Sorry for the delay but voting starts now. Voting will last for 3 days. There is only one veto, which means you CANNOT vote for the following mods:
