Hello everyone! Welcome to the Ubers Teambuilding Workshop. Here, our team of experienced teambuilders will be building teams around cores that you guys post. Here's some general guidelines to follow:

  • Please post viable cores. We reserve the right to refuse to build with a core that is unviable or not worth building for. Niche Pokemon are okay, but totally unviable ones may be declined; the viability rankings serve as a good guideline, though it is not absolute.
  • If we get too many requests (10+), we will close the shop so we can finish up the pending requests without getting swamped.
  • If you have a team that is already complete, this is not the place to post it. We will not rate or edit your teams for you; try the RMT subforum for that (and make sure to read the rules there!).
  • Be patient with us. We will do our best to build teams as quickly as possible, but do not continually bombard us with reminders to build your team.
  • Only post one core at a time. In other words, if we have not built a team for your first core yet, please do not post another one.
  • You can suggest building with a single Pokemon as well. The word "core" is used for the sake of simplicity but 1-2 Pokemon is good, while 3 is borderline. Do not take the specific terminology too seriously.
  • Do not post a core if the workshop is closed.
  • NEW RULE: check the sample threads first- it's no fun to just post the same boring builds.
  • Now supporting DPP requests!

About making a post:
  • Include a short description of how the core works.
  • Including pictures and sets (in an accepted importable format) is always nice, but not mandatory unless a specific set is important to the way the core is designed to function.

Here's a sample post:

Ho-Oh is a powerful threat in Ubers, but it suffers from a 4x weakness to Stealth Rock. This core is based on Mega Diancie providing hazards control for Ho-Oh with its Magic Bounce ability. At the same time, Ho-Oh helps Mega Diancie by switching into Steel-types that commonly check Mega Diancie.
Diancie @ Diancite
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 80 Atk / 252 SpA / 176 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- Diamond Storm
- Earth Power
- Protect

Ho-Oh @ Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 196 Atk / 52 SpD / 12 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Sacred Fire
- Recover
- Thunder Wave

Pending Requests:
1)
- Gareth de Voir
2)
- Krauersaut
3)
(Dragon) - Wings of night
4)
(Perish Song) - A wild waifu
5)
- Duncajawon
6)
- Fire Eyes
7)
- HailFall

That's all! Have fun.

ah, it's cool that this is arrived also in Ubers :) imma inaugurate with something i was planning to build on:

Blaziken-Mega @ Blazikenite
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Low Kick
- Stone Edge
- Swords Dance

Latios @ Soul Dew
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Memento
- Roost

i would like a good Bulky Offense / balance around this core. Mega Blaze is a cool forgotten mon generally outclassed by Mega salamence because he has generally less trouble setting up, among other things. so i thought abount pairing it up with Memento latios, to give it a setup opportunity and some Wallbreaking support.

Nice I was hoping this place would get a work shop one day.

Kyogre @ Blue Orb
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 172 HP / 252 SpA / 84 Spe
Modest Nature
- Calm Mind/Thunder Wave
- Origin Pulse
- Ice Beam/Blizzard
- Thunder

Ho-Oh @ Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 196 Atk / 52 SpD / 12 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Sacred Fire
- Earthquake
- Sleep Talk

Pretty standards set here. I want to try building another bulky with an offensive ogre, but I usually wind up going for defensive sleep talk ogre thanks to Darkrai, so I opted for a sleep talk Ho-Oh instead. I was advised to use LO over CB since getting locked into moves is a pain. Losing recover is a bit of an pain as well but Ho-Oh's Regenerator helps migate that somewhat. Ho-Oh is also a decent check against Primal Groudon if it's lacking Stone Edge. For Kyogre it's a tossup between CM and Thunder Wave. The former allows him to hit even harder while the latter helps with his speed issues as well as granting glorious parahax. At the end of the day though I guess I'm trying to build a balanced/bulky offensive team. Both of these guys are slow but hit quite hard, allowing opportunities for other teammates to set up and sweep.

Been thinking about making an Uber Trick Room team lately, and this topic may be just what I needed.

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball
- Toxic
- Trick Room

Dialga @ Adamant Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 244 HP / 252 SpA / 12 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Flash Cannon
- Trick Room

I find Trick Room and interesting little niche tactic that gives slower Pokemon a chance to hit hard AND fast, hitting hard and fast being exactly what my playstyle is. Dialga is the reason I want to try Trick Room in Ubers, with 90 base Speed, a Speed-harming nature and 0 Speed IV's he "outspeeds" the major threats of the tier in Trick Room, and his stats and typing make it doable for him to first set it up and then hit hard in it, effectively becoming a great setup sweeper.

I pair him with Bronzong because I do not just want 1 standalone Trick Room user, I want at least 2 Trick Room users, and I want at least 1 to be offensive, meet Dialga, and 1 to be supportive, meet Bronzong. Bronzong has defenses, typing and an Ability (eating those Ground attacks Dialga is weak to) to be a great Trick Room supporter, gets a hard hitting Gyro Ball that prevents him from being complete setup bait, and he gets Stealth Rock, giving him even greater supporting utility, especially when the rest of the team can generate enough offensive pressure to force switches. He also has a great match-up against quite a few Uber threats.

I want this core to act like the offensive Trick Room abuser and supportive Trick Room abuser on a dedicated Trick Room team. Given how short Trick Room lasts and how I fared using Trick Room in other tiers, I feel having a second supportive user wouldn't hurt. Naturally, I'd also like to pair this duo with Pokemon that do not necessarily use Trick Room themselves but can take advantage of this duo's support. Lastly I always enjoy combining Trick Room with a hard hitting priority user to be able to outspeed outside Trick Room as well.

EDIT: feel free to change specifics on the sets as long as they can keep Trick Room ;)

I wanna see a team built around CM Arceus Rock and Primal Groudon as Groudon can beat most of Arceus's checks/counters and set up Rocks, both of which can pave the way for a Arceus-Rock clean up.

Sets (change them if you wish!):

Arceus-Rock @ Stone Plate
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Judgment

Groudon @ Red Orb
Ability: Drought
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Def / 200 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Lava Plume
- Roar

The core of Primal Kyogre and Ho-Oh that you posted can apply a lot of pressure to bulkier builds by virtue of their raw power. This build aims to utilize Primal Kyogre and Ho-Oh to break down bulkier teams in conjunction with entry hazards to facilitate and end-game win condition. Klefki is a cool partner for the core because, in addition to supporting the team defensively, Primal Kyogre and Ho-Oh tend to force a lot of switches because of their power, which has good well with Klefki's Spikes to soften up the opposing defensive core. Primal Groudon is somewhat of a given; it sets Stealth Rock reliably and checks Primal Kyogre and Xerneas. A more specially defensive EV spread is used to help with Primal Kyogre more. Thunder Wave is nice because it cripples Latias and Latios, which commonly switch into Primal Groudon and are incidentally very common Primal Kyogre checks; thus, Primal Groudon lures and paralyzes Latias and Latios which can help Primal Kyogre punch holes in builds that rely on Latias and Latios to check Primal Kyogre. Mega Salamence is a defensive support set that serves as the Defog user of this team and synergizes well with Ho-Oh because they can wear down each others' shared checks. Ghost Arceus and Mega Salamence work together to form a physically defensive core that checks Primal Groudon, Extreme Killer Arceus, and other physical attackers, while Ghost Arceus also serves as a potential win condition with Calm Mind. So yeah, this is a pretty nice balance build that pairs a solid defensive backbone with Spikes and two powerful attackers in Primal Kyogre and Ho-Oh.

Banned deucer.
I'd like to see a team around Mega Diancie and Giratina-O, ad Mega Diancie eliminates most of Giratina's checks and vice-versa. Feel free to change the sets if needed !

Diancie @ Diancite
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 80 Atk / 252 SpA / 176 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- Diamond Storm
- Earth Power
- Protect

Giratina-Origin @ Griseous Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 Atk / 248 Def / 12 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Defog
- Shadow Sneak
- Dragon Tail
- Shadow Force / Earthquake

Disaster Area

formerly Piexplode
F.E.A.R. + heavy duty hazard control please!

Possibilities:

- Aron as a F.E.A.R. user. Sturdy, Toxic and Sand immunity is a little cash.
- Magic Bounce? M-Sab/Diancie help prevent hazards going up, which is important.
- Defog/Rapid Spin? To keep sturdy intact.
- Sand? TTar could mayyyyybe fit idk. Sand helps aron though a lot.

Kyurem-White @ Life Orb
Ability: Turboblaze
EVs: 32 HP / 252 SpA / 224 Spe
Modest Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Ice Beam
- Fusion Flare
- Stone Edge

Ho-Oh
Ability: Renegerator

Well, let's see if it really can do something. These two don't have any particularly noteworthy defensive synergy, but as far as offenses go, they have the 4 most difficult to check (subjective) STAB typings in the game between them. Ho-Oh merely complements Kyurem-White by virtue of the immense offensive pressure that they put on the opponent in tandem, and because heavy SR support is required to use either, you don't objectively lose anything by adding the other. An obvious partner is Sableye-Mega, with Taunt over Fake Out/Protect to make sure those damn Skill Swap Deoxys-Speeds don't get SR up. I've left Ho-Oh's EV spread and moves open, because those need to be adapted to the team it finds itself on. The three biggest weaknesses to this core are Arceus-Rock, Arceus-Water and Kyogre-Primal. Cheers ;]

As far as Trick Room goes this looks a lot more "standard" than a lot of other builds I've seen. This is because I didn't want to use any 'mon that wasn't viable outside of Trick Room; if you do that, you're playing 5-6 for the realistic duration of the match, and something about that just doesn't sit well with me. There's still plenty of interesting sets but no fun 'mon like Rampardos or Hoopa-U; sorry.
I do like this team steelphoenix! When I was thinking about my team, before posting it here, my mind kept on wandering to possible 3rd Trick Room users. For the longest time Trick Room Mega Slowbro was a provisional part of this team and the team was gonna be incredibly devoted to the Trick Room strategy. That also made me give Bronzong such a defensive set, to be able to use him repeatedly. And for the record I still think Trick Room Mega Slowbro would be a cool thing to use in Ubers, lol, I just decided to leave him out of this core to give more room for potentially cooler ideas.

But what you have done is make me rely less on Trick Room, which means I can now forego a 3rd Trick Room user AND use a more offensive Bronzong. And it's still for all intents and purposes a Trick Room team, because that Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon have Trick Room written all over them. Glad you liked building it too!

DaRizzleMyShizzle , I got a Rock Arceus + Primal Groudon build for you. It's kind of intuitive so I'd be very surprised if no one else has built this before, but oh well.

Arceus-Rock @ Stone Plate
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Judgment

Groudon (Groudon-Primal) @ Red Orb
Ability: Drought
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Def / 200 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Lava Plume
- Roar

Latias @ Soul Dew
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 192 HP / 100 SpA / 216 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Grass Knot
- Roost
- Defog

Gengar @ Gengarite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 84 SpD / 176 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Perish Song
- Protect
- Disable
- Substitute

Yveltal @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Dark Aura
EVs: 32 HP / 4 Def / 248 SpA / 224 Spe
Modest Nature
- Foul Play
- Dark Pulse
- Oblivion Wing
- U-turn

Klefki @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Spikes
- Thunder Wave
- Toxic
- Play Rough

Rock Arceus and Primal Groudon make a pretty neat core, and one that provides a lot of defensive support which is very nice. The downfall of such a core is the Ground weakness, as having Rock Arceus means you cannot have a different bulky Arceus forme to help check Primal Groudon. Rock Arceus is also Calm Mind, which means I need a different Defog user. Mega Salamence overlaps This makes Latias a very nice partner as a Defog user, Primal Groudon check, and Primal Kyogre check. Grass Knot is pretty nice move that hits Ground Arceus for super effective damage. Mega Gengar is a pretty nice offensive partner for Rock Arceus. I used a Perish Song set which can beat Klefki and some Arceus formes in addition to a lot of the normal targets; it pairs nicely with Rock Arceus because Klefki, Clefable, and Blissey are all relatively common checks to Calm Mind Rock Arceus. Disable also allows it to soft-check Extreme Killer Arceus and revenge kill Choice item users. Yveltal was the next Pokemon for this team. I didn't think a fully defenisve set was necessary or good on this team, so I chose the Choice Scarf variant because it gave the team some sort of revenge killer, checking Mewtwo, as well as Extreme Killer Arceus from full HP and Darkrai if something else has been put to sleep. Choice Scarf Yveltal also has great synergy with Mega Gengar thanks to U-turn. Finally, Klefki was picked because it covers the weaknesses to Latias, Latios, Xerneas, and Dark-types while providing a lot of other useful utility. Another possibility would be to run Ho-Oh over Yveltal and Mega Sableye over Mega Gengar, which strengthens the matchup against offense a bit; however, I think that the Mega Gengar version supports Rock Arceus better, which was the original intent of the team. So in general, the way I feel like this is a pretty solid team that has a defensive backbone to rely on but can play aggressively with Yveltal and Mega Gengar to open sweeping opportunities for Rock Arceus.

Hi there! It's been almost two years I haven't played pokemon, and I was wondering if this core still works, as I've always had trouble building a team around it, even in gen 4:

Mega-Salamence @ Salamencite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Double Edge
- Earthquake
- Roost

Rayquaza @ Life Orb
Ability: Air Lock
EVs: 252 Atk / 40 SpA / 216 Spe
Naive Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Dragon Ascent
- Fire Blast
- Extremespeed

This core exerts so much pressure on the opposing team; basically Rayquaza is here to open a path to Salamence's sweep.

The two mons don't have any defensive synergy between them, making teambuilding even harder this gen.
This core struggle a lot vs defensive Xerneas, Arceus-Fairy, Ice Beam Arceus-Water, Klefki and Prankster mons in general; if SR is down Lugia means trouble as well. An unboosted Salamence is an easy prey for choice scarf users (Wobbuffet was great back then), and faster mons such as Mewtwo who is bulky enough to take extremespeeds. Shuca Berry Tyranitar and Dialga threatens this core to a certain extent, even though Dialga doesn't enjoy taking a Draco Meteor.

You can change the moves, natures, evs and items as you want, but I would like to see an offensive Salamence if possible.

Krauersaut ,

sigh. Kyurem-W is very bad. Here's my attempt:

Kyurem-White @ Life Orb
Ability: Turboblaze
EVs: 32 HP / 252 SpA / 224 Spe
Modest Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Ice Beam
- Fusion Flare
- Stone Edge

Ho-Oh @ Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 196 Atk / 52 SpD / 12 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Sacred Fire
- Recover
- Thunder Wave

Diancie @ Diancite
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 80 Atk / 252 SpA / 176 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- Diamond Storm
- Earth Power
- Protect

Arceus @ Splash Plate
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 248 HP / 200 Def / 60 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Judgment
- Defog
- Recover
- Toxic

Groudon-Primal @ Red Orb
Ability: Desolate Land
EVs: 248 HP / 248 SpD / 12 Spe
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Thunder Wave

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 44 Def / 216 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Whirlwind
- Toxic
- Roost
- Spikes

Kyurem-W is very bad. The main problem is that you get very little defensive synergy from Kyurem-W as well as Ho-Oh, while both mandate a ton of support since you now have two big Stealth Rock weaknesses. The rest of the team is an attempt to fix the issues. Primal Groudon is pretty self-explanatory for a build like this, I have Thunder Wave on it as well as Ho-Oh to paralyze Water Arceus which is a big annoyance for Kyurem-W, a Pokemon that is bad but I'm trying to build around anyways. I tried to fit Mega Sableye initially, but it was not really working too well; thus, I settled for Mega Diancie which still has Magic Bounce and also checks a bunch of stuff. The more offensive set is mostly an attempt to limit setup opportunities and outspeed most Latias and Latios. Water Arceus is another standard on more balanced builds, as it Defog's reliably against Primal Groudon and helps check Ho-Oh and other physical attackers. Ice Beam can definitely be used too. Finally, Skarmory helps with Latias, Latios, Mega Salamence, Extreme Killer Arceus, and some Primal Groudon variants. I couldn't really check all of them in one set, so I compromised and ran a specially defensive set with 44 Defense EVs to not be 2HKOed by +1 Mega Salamence Double-Edge factoring in Leftovers recovery. Kyurem-W is a bad Pokemon. This build naturally has a lot of flaws (Swords Dance Ghost Arceus, standard hyper offense to an extent, etc.), but it's the best I could do with a flawed concept.

It's fine, I didn't post that core with the expectation of an SPL level team.

Anyway, this is a core with a Pokemon that I've been playing around with since the beginning of XY, and is just fantastic in this metagame, so I'd love to see if a better builder than I can make a great team around it.

Tyranitar @ Tyranitarite
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 8 SpD / 248 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Low Kick / Crunch
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Xerneas @ Power Herb
Ability: Fairy Aura
Modest Nature
- Geomancy
- Aromatherapy

Mega Tyranitar. I can't possibly overstate how much I love this Pokemon. It can mainly go two routes - the arguably better Dragon Dance set, or a defensive Pursuit Trapper/SR setter that hits so many beautiful EV benchmarks (e.g avoids OHKO from Gengar's Focus Blast and OHKO's back, OHKO's defensive Mega Mence with Stone Edge, etc etc), but for the purpose of this post, I took this route. Offensive Mega Tyranitar has 3 moves that are mandatory (EdgeQuake + DDance) and then one slot that's a toss-up depending on your team - I opt for Low Kick, as Mega Tyranitar can set up on +0 EKiller and OHKO it at +1, among others like Dialga, but Crunch is a viable option to smack Mewtwo-Mega-X and other miscellanous threats with a perfect accuracy, relatively strong STAB move. 248 Speed with Jolly is super nitpicky, but it outspeeds +Speed base 130s at +1. Clutch 1% cleans are nice.

Xerneas was the first partner that jumped into my mind, as Tyranitar-Mega sets up on Lati@s, Arceus, non Focus Blast Mewtwo and, EXTREMELY fantastically, DARKRAI. However, because it's not RestTalk, something's going to need to get sac'd to sleep, and seeing as GeoXern fits Aromatherapy with ease, it was an obvious choice. Xerneas also lures and weakens PDon to the point of Tyranitar killing it with Earthquake at +1 after just one unboosted Moonblast. Also, vs Standard HO, +0 Arceus will be picking off Xerneas quite often. Mega Tyranitar sets up on +0 Arceus, avoiding the 2hko from Earthquake + ESpeed and OHKO'ing at +1 with Low Kick. Hell, even defensively, Xerneas can take a *admittedly small* amount of pressure off of Tyranitar by softchecking Yveltal and Arceus-Dark, and Tyranitar loves having teammates that can eviscerate Sableye-Mega. I left Xerneas' EVs and two remaining moveslots open, because they need to be tailored to the rest of the team.

A couple obvious partners are Lati@s, Excadrill and Primal Groudon. Biggest weakness to this core that I can think of is an opposing Excadrill, which outspeeds and OHKO's both. Have fun!

EDIT: It occurs to me that someone could post a very similar team to mine and I want to prove that I'm not that bad at teambuilding, so here's an importable of my team with most EV spreads removed, for comparative purposes to whoever does end up building this team.

Tyranitar @ Tyranitarite
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 8 SpD / 248 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Low Kick
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Giratina-Origin @ Griseous Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: lol no
rude Nature
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Shadow Sneak
- Dragon Tail

Latios @ Soul Dew
Ability: Levitate
EVs: kek
nuh-uh Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Recover
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor

Xerneas @ Power Herb
Ability: Fairy Aura

Something i'd really like to see a cool team around would be Life Orb Xerneas.

Xerneas @ Life Orb
Ability: Fairy Aura
EVs: 32 Atk / 252 SpA / 224 Spe
Mild Nature
- Moonblast
- Aromatherapy
- Thunder
- Rock Slide/Close Combat

Life Orb Xern is an underrated gem. I haven't had quite as much success building with it as I would have liked, but i've had it put in a lot of work in the games i've played with it. Since most Xern are boosters of some shape or form, you can get off some pretty sick chip damage at little cost with this set and you free up the Geomancy moveslot for the physical move to hit your fatty of choice.

The OP says something about 1-2 pokemon being good, but i'm not sure if leaving one mon here is enough. I'd rather give the builder more freedom so I can learn more about their building process, but if a second mon is needed, standard EQ mence would be a good partner:

Salamence @ Salamencite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Double-Edge/Return
- Earthquake
- Roost

Mence appreciates the Aroma support Xerneas offers, and is free to run Earthquake now. It appreciates the chip damage Xern puts into (and also checks) steels and Primal Groudon, and soft-checks ekiller.

Hi, this is an offensive core. ;D

Salamence @ Salamencite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Return
- Refresh
- Roost

Dialga @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

Mega Mawile is an interesting Pokemon. It's not especially good (okay, It's pretty bad), but it has a niche in keeping momentum with Baton Pass so that it acts as somewhat of a pivot, switching in and checking some things and pivoting with Baton Pass to keep momentum. Mega Mawile may be first considered for a balance build, something that I experimented a bit using stuff like Dragon Arceus or Giratina-O, Toxic RestTalk Primal Kyogre, etc., but ultimately I decided to take a more offensive route utilizing Mega Mawile as an offensive pivot to keep momentum for the offense build. Primal Kyogre makes a naturally good partner for its ability to come in on and force out Ho-Oh and Primal Groudon, two common Mega Mawile switch-ins. After that, I picked Primal Groudon because it's difficult to justify not using with its ability to set up Stealth Rock reliably and check a decent amount of threats while being offensively threatening itself. I added Extreme Killer Arceus next, because it's a naturally strong Pokemon on offensive builds for its utility in revenge killing with Extreme Speed; I opted for a Magic Coat variant which antileads Deoxys-S leads and gives a solid lead option against standard hyper offense. Then I chose Darkrai, which is another potent offensive threat that checks Ghost Arceus. I also decided to run Thunder, which helps the team deal with Ho-Oh. Finally, there was a weakness to Primal Groudon because of the lack of a Ground immunity. I was using Mega Mawile, so I couldn't use Mega Salamence, so I decided that Charti Berry Aqua Tail Rayquaza could help with that, while also giving me a second priority option with its own Extreme Speed. Hope you like my offensive take on a Mega Mawile offense using it as an offensive pivot to help its teammates, Mega Mawile's not the greatest but this team won a few test games surprisingly.

Requesting a Mega Gengar and Arceus team.
This partnership works well in theory, with Gengar able to take care of a number of Arceus' common checks and counters, like the infamous Lugia or Arceus-Ghost, and is a wonder to the team, being able to destroy Xerneas as well.
Arceus can help get rid of ghosts not named Giratina-O, the aforementioned Arceus-Ghost and Gengar itself with a Shadow Claw and destroy some Pokemon faster than Gengar with an Extremespeed, such as the frail Deoxys-Atk and Mega Mewtwo-Y.

Thugly Duckling

I play TCG now
Requesting an Arceus-Steel team. I like SubCm because it sets up on Ferrothorn and it's a BW throwback, but obviously is troublesome to build around because it is walled by Ho-Oh and PDon. I feel like the mon has some potential though if it is ran alongside Toxic lures such as a Pdon of your own or a Tentacruel (Toxic Spikes!!!). Gl, can't wait n_n

Requesting a team around this physical offense core, Rayquaza+Arceus-Ground

Rayquaza @ Life Orb
Ability: Air Lock
EVs: 252 Atk / 40 SpA / 216 Spe
Naive Nature
IVs: 29 HP
- Dragon Ascent
- V-create
- Draco Meteor
- Extreme Speed

Arceus-Ground @ Earth Plate
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Recover / Refresh

The idea behind this core is pretty much the same idea behind any breaker+sweeper core in that Ray smashes typical checks to Arceus-Ground such as support Arc, Lugia earlier in the game so Arc can come through lategame. Rayquaza's access to priority and ability to anti-lead Deo-S more reliably gives it a niche over Ho-oh here who would normally be the partner I'd use for Arc-Ground in a core such as this. Sets are what I thought would be best but if you have personal preferences feel free to change them n_n

Yeah I went there. I originally wasn't going to try this but since 'niche' ubers is where this thread is heading I'll suggest this. I want to see want an optimal CM Fireceus team looks like. It's a decent bit of power with CM + Overheat but it's typing is really unfavorable to it. This can make building around it quite awkward. I have a few ideas of where such a team may go but I want to see what innovation you guys may have to bring here. I won't post specific coverage or EVs for this as what may or may not be the best for it is team reliant.
