My bank refused the payment for my online order :-@ so I went into town and ended up buying from HMV. No figure there, but I did get a (rather basic) case with Lugia on it.

UK Arceus Event - GAME Stores

@Havak: Was that the Manchester store that held the event? I spoke to customer services today and they said "On line orders and the stores that held events were where to get figures.
Personally I think they are making it up as they go. When I went to pick up my preorder copies first they said they'd not had a delivery of figures, could I come back in an hour. Then they sold me the games and said the Manager says come back Saturday with the receipt to get the figures. On Saturdays visit I get "oh we've had several people in today. You can phone customer services."
Guess where I'm not shopping anymore, nor Gamestation as they are under the same ownership.

I preordered in Game hoping to get the figurines, only to be told when I went in on Saturday to get my preordered game that it was Gamestation doing the figurines, and that here there was an "event to download a special Pokemon, but the machine is broken". This was NOT one of the stores participating in the Arceus event.
Is there some explaination, or have I been cheated at of my figurines (not that I actually care that much about them, more the idea that I may have been ripped off). I was certain it was Game doing the figures/preorder offer.
