UK Pokémon Event - GAME Stores

For those going to Manchester 4th April, I will be at Piccadilly Station around 11 am, meeting a friend who's coming there by train, and just make my way straight to the Trafford Centre from there. If its easier for you to meet up there, let me know
 
Toothache, me and n00dles will be driving to Manchester Piccadily on Friday evening to pick up Kinneas from there. They're staying over at my place Friday night and we'll be heading to the Event idealy in the early morning. We'll be driving down from mine to the Trafford Centre (should take about 20 minutes) and my friend Luke (aka Retro_0range) might be joining us, possibly Lee if he can sort it out too. There's no word of the store handing out 'goodie bags' like they did a the Darkrai Event, but I think we'll be getting there relatively early anyway. Definitely before 10am, maybe even 9am if we can be arsed getting up earlier.
 
Ah I see. Well, the thing is my friend is coming from Stafford in the morning. I could try and get to it by opening for a goodie bag, then head back to the station to meet him.
 
We'll be there most of the day I reckon (depending on how long you can get parking for) so you don't need to worry about missing us. I'm not sure if they will be giving out anything for free, but we can always hope, most of the other events have done in the past.
 
Me and Coops will be heading to the Sheffield event on the 10th of April.
 
I'm confused as to why they're doing it at regent street and Oxford street considering they're a 10 minute walk apart, but I guess it helps people that can't get to one of them that day. I guess I can choose between those or Brent cross. I'll probably go to Brent Cross, it always feels cosier, and it's on a weekend, which is nice.
 
Kinda cool we're not being rejected for once. My local store isn't participating though and I'm too lazy to drive to Brighton ¬_¬
 
Wait, does anyone going to any London event have a Celebi on their 3rd gen games? I really would head down there if I could complete my Sapphire dex :O

(I have lots of cool Pokémon to trade; in fact, I just bred a flawless Jolly DDTar and DDZard :P)

Actually if you looked it's the 9th not the 8th and i'm also going to that one too. (a.k.a going to both event for the hell of it as i have found 1 bus that can take me there quite directly.)

So, myself, Retro_0range, Kinneas, n00dles, Toothache and whoever Toothache is bringing should be all meeting at the Trafford Centre event on Saturday (two days away woo!).

Expect pictures and shit. Depending on how good the event is, I might write an article for 'The Smog' as well.

Oh, and for other European members, you might as well know about this.

Spain's Event will be starting on April 15th, and it's also at selected GAME stores across the country (I'm not sure of locations yet, though).

Germany's Event will start April 25th and end May 17th. It'll be at ten selected McDonald's stores across the country (again, not sure which locations will be chosen).
 
Would anyone be interested in buying my Emerald version? It comes with the original box etc. in perfect condition. I have played through the game 3 times, probably with a total of 60-70 hours playtime. I bought it in October 2006.

£10 is all I am looking for and priority will be given to people who show up at the Guildford event. Otherwise, you will have to pay for postage/shipping + packaging as well x]

Edit: also available - my Pearl version for £15.

I remember meeting toothache and havak at the last event (Liverpool darkrai one), Is anybody going to the Liverpool events? I'll be a dead cert for it, so put us down (I'm a nobody).
I'll also be at southport too, it's 4 stops away so I might as well.
 
I'd appreciate it if somebody could hook me up with an answer to this question. I know that the info states I need d/p but would it be possible to also get the gift if I use my imported Platinum? If so then I'll be going to the Trafford center tomorrow or the day after. If not then this event sucks monkey balls.

If you weren't going to the Trafford Centre one, I'd be able to give you an answer. Kinneas is coming to the Trafford Centre one with his copies of Diamond and imported Platinum. I know that imported versions of games do work with the Wonder Card download, but I'm not sure if Platinum works at all.

Like I said, my friend will have tried getting the Wonder Card on his Platinum by tomorrow so I will post in this thread if it works. But if you have Diamond or Pearl as well, you might as well take those and bring your copy of Platinum just to see.

I'm pretty sure it'll work, but I'd hate to give you a solid answer just for me to be wrong and make you waste your time going.

Hi going to the chester store tomorrow and ive got a jap import of platinum so will try get shaymin on that via mystery gift and will post result tomorrow. Ive got d/p so wont be a wasted journey either way
