hi i went through all the 2v2 replays from week 1 and im assembling the teams that interested me and some thoughts on them (even tho i havent seen any of them myself these are just guesses)
kochu_shak vs xd rudi:
game 1: kochu:

: this team is a pretty cool take on the regular rain build, clearly arch is the centrepoint but i like the idea of overqwil as gunk shot off that attack with (presumably) lorb can deal with a lot of stuff in the format including ohkoing most flutter and the pons as well as lando with liquidation which kinda smokes the rest of the team. while i dont love rain overall nor maus this team synergises quite well altogether. cool team and props to whoever of kochu/code/pengu/sealife built this.
game 2: rudi:

: i love arc h, its a great and underrated mon, intim with rock stab that can ohko gouger even through intim with life orb or cb. its very weak to like lando and stuff but the rest of the team loves to see lando so it makes up for it. pagos is also a cool mon to pair with it and a very good mon overall, no idea what the set is but it nonetheless loves a flutter killer and intimidate mon in one. its not as crazy as overqwil but a cool ass team nonetheless. e.
game 4: kochu:

: no weird mons here just the addition of hoopa onto the common-ish core of the first 3 is really cool to me, depending on the set it can greatly improve the mu into stuff like trick room cress, hands and hypersace breaking protect is broken. normally im not a fan of hoopa outside of psyspam but it really puts in work here i believe
arcanine1929 vs xqiht:
game 2: xqiht:

: this team is so goofy i love it, scizor + psyterrain, level 97 indeedee with no eforce users and just the combo of ape sciz and volcanion but it all fits together so swimmingly, handling threats for each other, sciz and volc beating mane for ape, sciz and ape beating rockpon for volc, volcanion and ape being good into gouging for scizor etc etc its such a beautifully synergistic team and awesomely cool (rare for indeedee teams)
game 4: arcanine:

this is clearly no bulky dogi bs and i think here it fits incredibly well, ive grown to respect it a lot more in recent times and i think this is one of the best showcases of its strengths
fake tom numbers vs terekusai:
game 1: terekusai:

- theres some awesome ideas here, moon is cool considering most flutters are super slow and then ghold helps handle those who are faster, i just really like the idea of how they work together and its a comp i can see having more success in the future, wetpon + flutter handles most of the stuff that the two struggle with (tho gouging looks nightmarish depending on sets)
game 2: tom:

goltres is goated enough said (flying move is funny) and it definitely solves a lot of issues the team has like psyspam and lando
game 3: tom:

- you can trust tom to cook up some bullshit, gallade is just a cool mon that i can only see tom pulling off, diancie incin and bolt are all underrated mons too and they work fairly well together here tho flutter + lando can be a nightmare i imagine (again some tech very likely here)
the other two tom teams are cool but i dont love as much and itd get boring to repeat myself over and over even tho thats this whole post basically x mon is cool i like it
hugo vs mike:
game 2: mike:

while it didnt pull through in this mu i think booster hands + ting lu is very cool and pagos is an awesome inclusion which can fix a lot of problems its not pushing the meta that much but its a cool team
short set so no cosmog bring from mike :(
the other two sets were cool but nothing jumped out to me as particularly amazing, generally ive noticed a lot more bolt, goltres and diancie usage then id expect and not much gouging all things considered, some very cool games and im looking forward to see how the format develops over the tour
some of these teams probably are reuses / known teams but i dont recall seeing them and doesnt make them any less cooler in my eyes
