Aerodactyl @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Wing Attack

Assuming HP Fire Sylveon this is actually a pretty good partner, as it's able to lure in Bronzong with Crunch, and force some potential mindgames with Pursuit if it's weakened enough, as well as using Pursuit to weaken a lot of Sylveon checks, such as Crobat and Blissey, while Sylveon can wallbreak a lot of Aerodactyl's usual checks, such as Swampert and, with HP Fire, Forretress, while also taking advantage of most Choice Scarf users like Mienshao and Hydreigon, which tend to be Aerodactyl answers on some offense builds.

Krookodile

@
(Choice band)
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature [+Atk -SPA]
- Earthquake

- Knock Off

- Stone Edge

- Pursuit

Kroododile is the best partner for sylveon as it can take out the pokemons that threatens sylveon.Earthquake smashes the Fire/Steel/Poison that walls hypervoice.Knock off and pursuit pressurize the physhich types and also help taking out brozong (a sylveon check).Stone edge is useful against pokemons that resists both krookodile's stab, namely Hydregion and Mandibuzz, although slyveon can take care of them for krookodile.Lastly, sylveon eats up the bug and fighting moves directed to krookodile

Some calcs
Earthquake

252 Atk Choice Band Krookodile Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Metagross: 362-428 (99.4 - 117.5%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO

-1 252 Atk Choice Band Krookodile Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Arcanine: 254-300 (66.3 - 78.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Knock off/Pursuit

252 Atk Choice Band Krookodile Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Bronzong: 390-458 (115.3 - 135.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Choice Band Krookodile Pursuit vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Bronzong: 162-192 (47.9 - 56.8%) -- 30.9% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Here for 2nd place!!

Crawdaunt @ Life Orb
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Crabhammer
- Knock Off
- Aqua Jet
- Swords Dance

Much like Krook, Crawdaunt heavily pressures a good majority of common threats to Sylveon like SpDef Steels, Fire-types, Blissey, and Cresselia. The big thing it lacks is Pursuit, but it nearly makes up for this with sheer power by hitting much harder and therefore being that much more difficult for offense to switch into, as if Krook wasn't hard enough to switch into already. It's worth nothing, for example, that banded Krook has only a minuscule chance to 2HKO Cresselia once Cress's item is knocked off, but Crawdaunt still comfortably can. It also doesn't get nearly as many opporunities to come in as Krook does due to differences in natural bulk and lack of Intimidate, but this means that it benefits even more from Sylv's Baton Pass, which can give it far more opportunities to come in and wreak havoc. Finally, access to strong priority in Aqua Jet boosted by SD is really helpful against the offensive squads that Sylveon tends to be overwhelmed by.
Since my first nom is taken, I am posting LO Hydreigon as partner

Hydreigon @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 36 Atk / 220 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Iron Tail
- Superpower
- Dark Pulse
- Draco Meteor

As we all know, Hydreigon is a great in general. LO 4 attack set lures both its and Sylveon's switch ins in the tier. Dark pulse hits Bronzong and Metagross really hard, Superpower grabs KO on Blissey after Draco Meteor and SR most of the time. Iron Tail lures Hydreigon's own switches so that it doesn't bring liability to the core. Overall, good mon by itself and a good partner to use with Sylveon.

Aerodactyl @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

And with Shadestep being a wonderful person, Kreme is our winner. Congratulations :)

This week's "victim" is one that recently garnered enough attention to have an analysis "updated" with a "new" set:

Conkeldurr @ Leftovers
Ability: Guts
EVs: 240 HP / 16 Atk / 252 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Knock Off

Submissions end on Friday.

Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature

- Psyshock

- Focus Blast

- Recover

I find rueniclus a good partner for conkeldurr as it sets up on mons that beats conkledurr. It easily can set up with calm mind on fairy and psychic types that threatens conkeldurr.Conk in return just takes out the dark types that comes in early to take out rueniclus. Not to mention how conkledurr sets up on bug types with bulk up and just enojys when they try to burn it (guts). To sum it up, reuniclus and conkeldurr and born for each other :P

- Wing Attack
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Pursuit

Mega Aerodactyl is a pretty good partner for Conkeldurr for an array of reasons. The first and most obvious is the fact that it eases the offense matchup greatly due to it's blistering speed and decent power, while Conkeldurr can singehandely demolish stall and quite a few balance teams with ease. Secondly, it assists with defeat opposing Flying-types and other faster threats with it's powerful Rock STAB and access to Pursuit, the latter of which makes for an easier endgame especially if Conkeldurr has setup. Finally, the benefits heavily from Conkeldurr's wallbreaking ability to ensure it can clean up efficiently after Conkeldurr has finished it's job and lead the team it's placed on to victory.

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock

- Bullet Punch

Metagross and Bulk Up Conkeldurr form a very nice core. Bulk Up Conkeldurr destroys most stall or balance teams, can switch in on bulky waters not fearing scald, and can deal with dark and steel types which threaten Metagross. In return, Metagross checks a lot of bulky psychics and flying types, can pick off mons such as aero with bp, and can set up rocks to weaken Conkeldurrs checks severly.

And with me fishing for votes, dmw takes the win! Congrats n_n

This week is Core week and I decided to steal one from the Good Cores thread...

Mega Houndoom and Toxicroak display a stellar offensive synergy and a decent defensive cohesion between them that grant the core to cover almost all, if not all, of the threats in the Underused tier. Toxicroak destroys most Pokemon Mega Houndoom have difficulty spelling doom with, most especially against bulky Water-types (thanks to Dry Skin) and naturally Specially Defensive Pokemon including Blissey, Porygon2, and Florges, allowing Mega Houndoom to proceed cleaning up thanks to its above average Speed tier.

Houndoom-Mega @ Houndoominite
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Fire Blast
- Dark Pulse
- Destiny Bond

Toxicroak @ Life Orb
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Gunk Shot
- Drain Punch
- Sucker Punch

Submissions end on Friday.

Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 244 Def / 12 Spe
Bold Nature
- Roar
- Scald
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
Cune works very well with them because they always fear Krookodile. RoarCune isn't the best Krookodile switch, but it can switch-in some times thanks to it's big bulk. Another thing that is annoying as fuck to this core is Gyarados, since it's going to click Dragon Dance and sweep. This core isn't weak to Celebi thanks to Houndoom, so it works very well with Suicune.

Metagross @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Meteor Mash
- Bullet Punch
- Earthquake / Explosion
- Stealth Rock

When examining this core, it has obvious issues with threats such as Mega Aerodactyl, Crobat, Mega Sceptile, etc. It also doesn't have a Stealth Rock setter and an actual Fairy resist would be a great perk. So here we have SR Metagross. It's been rising in popularity lately for both it's Mixed set and simple SR set which are both very good. In this situation, the SR variant is much better and offers a large amount of role compression as a check towards the aforementioned threats, a Fairy and Flying resist, form of priority, and a Stealth Rock setter. So all in all, Metagross is a pretty great partner for these two due to the large amount of things it does in a single slot while maintaining momentum and offensive synergy.
