Yeah, let's get personal on a whole new level!

We all wear underwear. At least most of us... I hope. Even I have ditched the good old Pringles can in favor of boxer briefs recently! It keeps the goods supported and warm, and sometimes even covered. It really is an extension of your soul and the choice of underwear can really tell a lot about a person. Or something.

So, which type of underwear do you prefer?
 
I go commando whenever possible. I just hate the feeling of being all bunched up, and my thighs like the breathing too.

If I have to, though, I'll go for boxer-briefs.
 
I have been a boxers man since middle school, but this past summer a friend told me that he recently changed to boxer briefs and now will never go back. I went and got some at the Rochester public market, but they were cheap knockoffs that rode up my balls and, frankly, hurt a lot.

I told my girlfriend this recently, and in my VDay gift today there was a package of nice Champion boxer briefs. I will try a pair tomorrow and report back with my findings.
 
Im 14, so I started with boxers around 4 or 5 years ago, and as every man, I love them, the liberty down there is just too good. Sadly, there are some days in school we have to wear pants instead of jeans, and me and my friends have this funny habit of pulling them down everytime someone is distracted, so instead of risking a friend pulling down the pants and the boxers too, I wear boxer briefs those days. Boxer briefs are just too... uh... tight for my liking, I mean the only way im comfortable with them is when im sit down, when im walking it really squashes your attributes badly, "oh well!".
 
regular boxers cannot possibly handle the tightness of my pants, so I go with boxer briefs

however if I'm not wearing pants (happens quite often) I enjoy the freedom of regular boxers
 
Briefs, for sure, in what can only be described as a marketing decision. In addition to the fact there's good health reasons to have some sort of support for the boys (not unlike a bra in that regard), in my case it is exclusively about hitting a target market. I don't think it matters much for you straight boys since like 95% of girls think dicks are gross and are lying to you if they say otherwise, but since I am dealing with people who both enjoy them and have them the game changes a little.

Briefs, for one, give a much better outline, if I happen to want one (and I do in the back, mostly, denim doesn't do much for the front anyway). The key, though, is after the pants come off... it's like a using a gift bag instead of wrapping paper for a present. Gift boxers are lame. They don't give you any idea of the present inside, and they were just thrown on at the last moment. Briefing paper, on the other hand, doesn't show you exactly what you're going to get, but it gives you enough of a look that you want to rip the paper off.

There's a reason they're always in briefs in the gay porn, after all.

Additionally it sounds like many of you need to buy a size larger underwear.
 
I used to prefer boxer briefs over boxer shorts before, not too long ago, but changed to boxer shorts because they sorta feel more... comfortable. A lot more free. If I want to go pantless, all I need to do is take my pants off!

Although I don't mind use boxerfriends; I still use them every once in a while, really frequently.

But uh yeah, with the mobility and comfort boxer shorts give... I dunno, I might to try wearing more boxer briefs this week just to see why I liked them so much.

edit: also I've never understood going commando. I'm a bit skeptical on that.
 
Wow, I never thought of the whole boxers/briefs-Gift wrap analogy.

I wear boxer briefs because it's enough support without making me feel awkward. Something about briefs doesn't feel right. It's not exactly crushing me, but it's too close for comfort I guess.

Seriously, though, I just like having the freedom. The summer reason is true for me, but the real reason I go commando is because I really can't stand fabric that tight on my man places.
 
I guess we're just different people, then. If I try to go out on a run when I'm wearing underwear, the chafing turns a long run into a brief one.
 
I'm with bears; and further, I don't like the idea of my zip-fly metal catching my junk. I wear either briefs or boxer-briefs; boxers don't give any support and they swish around uncomfortably so I don't know why people wear them at all.
 
I can't wear anything other than boxer shorts because they need to breathe!! I tried wearing briefs once, but it just felt wrong in every way.

It's not life-changing, but it feels pretty good. They will definitely be added to my underwear rotation.
 
I rock all three main types equally: boxers (though less lately), boxer briefs and my current favourite the very underrated briefs; they just look sexier on my body since more of dickfrog is being exposed.

I never go commando in public but I am open to the possibility.
 
commando's not good if your balls slip between your legs and they get squashed. or if that's your thing, then ok
