Seriously all it takes to counter Perish Trap 100% is like a ghost (that can preferably hit Scrafty) and anything with U-turn or Volt Switch. Or if you really want to be a dick, since Level 51 has been bringing this so consistently, just put Shed Shell on something random... not that this is in any way necessary.
