Does anyone think the Senior Division will hit the player cap of like 700-something players?

I mean, it seems so high that there is no point in me going early to make sure I get a spot, but I want to make sure.

Me and TDS are planning on going together so if anyone's down come hit us up.

still, Inb4 massive mob at Newark X.X

If I see you DFE, I'll say something. I'll be sitting in chairs (with friends) hopefully near the front of the line if I get there early enough. xD

I really wished they picked NYC or something. If it were a nice day out (it's been pretty shitty in the NE, sadly), it'd be cool to have it all in Rockefeller Plaza or something. Nintendo World is literally right there.

Or maybe Nassau Collisseum or something on Long Island.

Hmmm, off the top of my head, I remember that there was one two years ago in 08 (09 was in King of Prussia, PA).

If it wasn't 08, it was in 07, but I know in 06 for JAA the Northeast regional was in Garden City, Long Island.

To all those complaining about it being in Newark - Sure, it would be cool to have it in our city, the GREATEST CITY IN THE WORLD, but remember, Newark is across the river from New York :P But yeah, imagine a tournament in Rockefeller Plaza. That would be so kickass....

There'd be a LOT of people in Rockefeller Plaza. Of course, I'd be in the Pokemon Center some of the time checking out the merchandise. :D

I'm thinking of getting there about 3 hours early. How about all of you guys?

I'll be there along with my friend(who beat Black Leather Jacket in the KOP JAA, haha). I'll be arriving oh.. 4? 5? 6? hours early, depending on how early I can wrangle my friend out of bed. I fully expect to be there before the junior division starts registration.

Also: it's the Meadowlands Exhibition Center, not Meadows. It also isn't technically in Newark, just like the "Philly" regionals have always actually been King of Prussia.

I'm thinking that it'd be pretty awesome to do a TR team with Ursaring. I dunno how I'd pull it off, but it'd be sick if someone did.

Well it has an excellent speed stat to allow TR to do it justice. Though if your leads stay out for most of TR when Ursaring finally gets out to kick ass.... and your TRer fainted... you're screwed. lol

Dialga (lum) / Smeargle (Sash) or Hariyama (FOrb) / Ursaring (POrb) / Palkia (IBall)

Smeargle or Preferably Hariyama FO's so Dialga can Set up TR. Hari is a BEAST under TR, but burns out quickly. Switch in Ursaring to Stomp some more. Palkia can TR too.

This is a very fun team to use. :)

thar ye go

All I can say is GET THERE EARLY AND PAY ATTENTION ONCE YOU ARE THERE. I was milling around in the building for a couple hourse during juniors and one of the staff was like oh, the senior line started. There was like 130 seniors already lined up at 11:45. However, it should be noted that during junior registration, there was absolutely no senior line. Just get there before juniors starts and you should be good.

I wouldn't recommend being at the front of the line as all the good players seemed to be there. Diesel said he didn't fight anyone that knew what they were doing whereas everyone near me had to fight at least one to two strong opponents to get by.

Hey guys I havent been here since the JAA in like...2008 or somethin lol. However I plan on attending this event...but I believe I''ll probably be the oldest person there. Hmm...I might feel akward playing with you guys but eh ah well. Help me train somewhat. These rules seem a bit foolish when you have so many legendaries allowed in these battles, it limits you in your choices as to what could be a good team. How would you go about training for this? What should I read up on? It's been awhile since I have battled competively
