The age of D/P UU as we know it is drawing to a close. Soon (relatively), the UU and BL tiers will be combined and the face of UU will undoubtedly change. But as a last hurrah to this fresh metagame that many users, including myself, have enjoyed, I am hosting a UU tournament for Smogon's best. Clefable, Ninetales, Hitmontop, this is your time to shine!
Rules
Evasion Clause
Sleep Clause
Freeze Clause
OHKO Clause
Species Clause
Strict Damage Clause
Time Out
Battles will be played on Shoddy Battle's official server and Pokemon currently in Smogon's UU tier are allowed. Platinum moves are allowed as well. Battles are best 2 out of 3. Logs are really only for in the case of disputes, as there aren't limitations on the Pokemon or sets, other than they must be UU.You may change Pokemon and sets between battles freely.
Signups will not be on a first come, first serve basis. Instead, by posting in this thread you apply to enter into the tournament. Then the 32 best will be chosen, based off of D/P UU battling expertise as proved in tournies, the Smogon tour, the UU ladder, or a valuable reference. I apologize in advance if you don't get chosen, but this method helps the ensure that the quality of the battlers is superb.
Signups will end a week from today, or perhaps sooner if they slow down considerably.
