You said your opponent can have the win. If you didn't mean it for round 2, why would you have posted it in the round 2 thread before there even was a round 3?

Going to be inactive for the next week, as I am going on vacation. So if I can't get the battle done by the deadline my opponent can have the win.

This specifies my opponent for next round, seeing as I said "If I can't get the battle done before the deadline". And seeing as i already had the battle done well before the round 2 deadline, it would be obvious that I meant the next round.

And I said it before that I posted in the round 2 thread because I left before the round 3 thread was up. So where else was I meant to post?

I don't think it's acceptable that you are complaining about this hours before the deadline. If I had realized you meant round 3 your opponent would end up getting an activity win anyway.
