Project Victim of the Week

can we post a counter AND a check? if so

2rnkk7l.png

Counter: Choice Scarf Gothitelle

Gothitelle @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Shadow Tag
EVs: 80 HP / 24 Def / 200 SpD / 204 Spe
Timid Nature
- Rest
- Psychic
- Calm Mind
- Trick

i prefer a special spread because most of the mons it needs to trap have special attacks (like Clefable and Heatran).
2 situations to consider:

1- Keldeo sets a Substitute the same turn I send in Gothitelle. 2nd turn Psychic breaks the Subsitute and Keldeo uses Scald (33.8 - 39.8%). 3rd turn Psychic 2hkoes, while Scald only kills if the 1st scald burned.

2- Keldeo calm minds instead of subbing the turn i send in Gothitelle: Gothitelle wins, doesn't matter if Scald burns or not.

Check

gourgeist-super.gif

Gourgeist-Super @ Leftovers
Ability: Frisk
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 SpD
Impish Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Leech Seed
- Synthesis
- Seed Bomb

Gourgeist resists both of Keldeo's STABs, allowing it to come in on any move and either burn it or 2HKO with Seed Bomb.

The one thing preventing it from being a counter is that it can't get rid of Scald burns. Seed Bomb will still break Keldeo's subs, but it becomes much easier to PP stall unless Keldeo was burned or seeded beforehand.

Offensive:
0 Atk Gourgeist-Super Seed Bomb vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Keldeo: 188-224 (58.2 - 69.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Defensive:
252 SpA Keldeo Scald vs. 252 HP / 96 SpD Gourgeist-Super: 73-87 (19.5 - 23.2%) -- possible 6HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252 SpA Keldeo Scald vs. 252 HP / 96 SpD Gourgeist-Super: 110-129 (29.4 - 34.4%) -- 100% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
+2 252 SpA Keldeo Scald vs. 252 HP / 96 SpD Gourgeist-Super: 146-172 (39 - 45.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
+4 252 SpA Keldeo Scald vs. 252 HP / 96 SpD Gourgeist-Super: 219-258 (58.5 - 68.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

mew.gif

Mew @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 224 SpD / 32 Spe
Calm Nature
- Psyshock
- Soft-Boiled
- Will-O-Wisp
- Taunt

A close check but Mew is capable of fighting Keldeo on the turn it sets up a Substitute or Calm Mind. Taunt can shut down his set up, with Soft-Boiled healing off the little damage he'll be inflicting with Scald. Synchronize passes the potential Burn back to Keldeo who, without a more reliable form of recovery like Mew and with Substitute health loss will make himself easier to whittle down. Psyshock is always a 2HKO as well, which is the only change in this set in place of Psychic which fails miserably.

Mew is a check and not a counter because Scald burns can whittle him down as well if he is unlucky and after +2, Keldeo can barely 2HKO with Stealth Rocks up. A max special defensive spread can be recommended to help mitigate this however.

0 SpA Mew Psyshock vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Keldeo: 188-224 (58.2 - 69.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252 SpA Keldeo Scald vs. 252 HP / 224+ SpD Mew: 144-171 (35.6 - 42.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

Tornadus-Therian (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 132 HP / 160 SpA / 216 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Hurricane
- U-turn
- Superpower
- Knock Off

Pretty standard Tornadus-T with AV. Heatwave and Focusblast also viable options. Evs Can be slightly adjusted, but current spread outspeeds scarftar. and everything base 116 and below.

160 SpA Tornadus-T Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Keldeo: 324-384 (100.3 - 118.8%)

in return:

252 SpA Keldeo Scald vs. 132 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Tornadus-T: 96-114 (28.9 - 34.3%)
252 SpA Keldeo Secret Sword vs. 132 HP / 0- Def Tornadus-T: 93-109 (28 - 32.8%)

160 SpA Tornadus-T Hurricane vs. +1 0 HP / 4 SpD Keldeo: 218-258 (67.4 - 79.8%)
+1 252 SpA Keldeo Scald vs. 132 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Tornadus-T: 142-168 (42.7 - 50.6%)

Just regenerate off damage.

Only a check because hurricane accuracy and burns and SR wear you down.

Reserving BANDNITE

Dragonite @ Choice Band
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Outrage
- Extreme Speed
- Fire Punch / Thunder Punch
- Earthquake / Superpower

Pretty self explanatory. Dragonite resists both of keldeo's stabs, and can simply click outrage to break sub and KO. Even when burned, band outrage 2hkos keldeo, while keldeo's scald has to be at +3 to 2hko dragonite.

Toxicroak
Hard Check / Soft Counter

454.gif

Toxicroak @ Life Orb
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bulk Up / Swords Dance
- Gunk Shot
- Drain Punch
- Sucker Punch

Toxicroak is immune to Keldeo's water STAB and resists its fighting STAB. Drain Punch has a good chance to 2HKO and can help Toxicroak recover health in the process.

Calcs:
Keldeo Scald vs. Dry Skin Toxicroak: 0-0 (0 - 0%) -- aim for the horn next time
252 SpA Keldeo Secret Sword vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Toxicroak: 98-116 (31.9 - 37.7%) -- 92.2% chance to 3HKO
+1 252 SpA Keldeo Secret Sword vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Toxicroak: 147-174 (47.8 - 56.6%) -- 87.5% chance to 2HKO
252+ Atk Life Orb Toxicroak Gunk Shot vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Keldeo: 265-312 (82 - 96.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Life Orb Toxicroak Drain Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Keldeo: 165-196 (51 - 60.6%) -- 90.2% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Noivern: Check

Noivern @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 16 HP / 252 SpA / 240 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Hurricane / Air Slash
- Focus Blast / Flamethrower
- Switcheroo / U-turn

(If running u-turn:
EVs: 16 Atk / 252 SpA / 240 Spe
Hasty Nature)

Noivern is pretty niche...but one of those niches is Infiltrator, to screw over Keldeo when it thought it could use Substitute on a switch to guarantee a free turn. In fact, Noivern is so niche that sometimes the Keldeo user forgets it has Infiltrator, and that allows Noivern to KO it through its sub. Noivern resists Keldeo's stabs too, isn't that nice?

I chose the Choice Specs set over Life Orb because with choice specs, Air Slash OHKOs Keldeo and Hurricane OHKOs +1 Keldeo, while Life Orb needs a high damage roll to do either of those. But Life Orb is totally viable too. For Focus Blast vs Flamethrower/Fire Blast, you choose what you want to wall your Noivern.
  • Focus Blast prevents you from being walled by Heatran, Empoleon, and Tyranitar. It's also your best move vs Diancie though you're still walled, as well as Mega Gyarados though Hurricane/Draco still hurt. It's not necessary vs Bisharp as Flamethrower 1HKOs anyway.
  • Flamethrower/Fire Blast prevents you from being walled by Metagross, Jirachi, and Klefki. It's also your best move vs Ferrothorn and Scizor.
    • Flamethrower also lets you take down a weakened pokemon with no problem as it's 100% accurate, unlike the rest of Noivern's moves (besides U-turn which is pretty weak).

Defensive calcs
  • SubCM Keldeo:
    • 252 SpA Keldeo Scald vs. 16 HP / 0 SpD Noivern: 78-93 (24.7 - 29.5%) -- 100% chance to 4HKO
    • 252 SpA Keldeo Secret Sword vs. 16 HP / 0 Def Noivern: 84-99 (26.6 - 31.4%) -- guaranteed 4HKO
  • Watch out for specs/scarf though:
    • 252 SpA Choice Specs Keldeo Icy Wind vs. 16 HP / 0 SpD Noivern: 432-512 (137.1 - 162.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Offensive calcs
  • 252 SpA Choice Specs Noivern Air Slash vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Keldeo: 330-390 (102.1 - 120.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
  • 252 SpA Life Orb Noivern Air Slash vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Keldeo: 283-338 (87.6 - 104.6%) -- 25% chance to OHKO
  • 252 SpA Choice Specs Noivern Hurricane vs. +1 0 HP / 0 SpD Keldeo: 320-380 (99 - 117.6%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
  • 252 SpA Life Orb Noivern Hurricane vs. +1 0 HP / 0 SpD Keldeo: 281-330 (86.9 - 102.1%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO

My man Mantine.

226.gif

Mantine @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 172 Def / 88 SpD
Calm Nature
- Air Slash
- Defog
- Haze
- Scald/Toxic/Tailwind

+4 252 SpA Keldeo Secret Sword vs. 248 HP / 172 Def Mantine: 223-263 (66.9 - 78.9%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
+5 252 SpA Keldeo Secret Sword vs. 248 HP / 172 Def Mantine: 260-306 (78 - 91.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Haze is amazing. Haze away the boosts, and then you Air Slash to victory. Water Absorb means you can come in on a predicted Scald for free, and you can't be burned by Keldeo either (which is usually how it wears down checks like Latios).

EVs are to patch up the weaker Defense stat (useful in general, since Mantine's special bulk is already ridiculous). This set also hard counters Landorus-I not running Rock Slide (which is becoming less rare).

Mega Slowbro as a Counter (this feels like cheating since Slowbro and Slowking are already done, but I'm doing it anyways. MWAHAHAHA!!!)

slowbro-mega.gif

Slowbro @ Slowbroite
Ability: Regenerator ---> Shell Armor
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 SpD
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Psyshock
- Slack Off

It's pretty simple: M-Slowbro resists Keldeo's STABs, can setup Calm Minds to reach incredible bulk on both sides as Keldeo does so too (or a Sub), has recovery in Slack Off and Regenerator (pre-Mega) and Psyshock to super effectively hit Keldeo on its physical side that won't be boosted by Calm Mind. Furthermore, Keldeo needs at least four Calm Minds to reliably 2HKO M-Slowbro after SR and that's taking into acount that MegaBro won't ever use Calm Mind. Yep, it's that bulky. In return, M-Slowbro simply 2HKOes with Psyshock OHKO with a single Calm Mind.
252 SpA Keldeo Secret Sword vs. 252 HP / 80+ Def Mega Slowbro: 36-42 (9.1 - 10.6%) -- possible 9HKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Keldeo Scald vs. 252 HP / 176 SpD Mega Slowbro: 63-75 (15.9 - 19%) -- possible 5HKO after Stealth Rock
+3 252 SpA Keldeo Secret Sword vs. 252 HP / 80+ Def Mega Slowbro: 89-105 (22.5 - 26.6%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Stealth Rock
+3 252 SpA Keldeo Scald vs. 252 HP / 176 SpD Mega Slowbro: 159-188 (40.3 - 47.7%) -- 57% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock (not so reliable)

0 SpA Mega Slowbro Psyshock vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Keldeo: 236-282 (72.8 - 87%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 0 SpA Mega Slowbro Psyshock vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Keldeo: 356-420 (109.8 - 129.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Mega Heracross as a Check

heracross-mega.gif

Heracross @ Heracronite
Ability: Guts ---> Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Pin Missile
- Rock Blast
- Bullet Seed

Most of the time, M-Heracross will either have Sub or SD in its last moveslot, but with Bullet Seed, it can decently check SubCM Keldeo. If it's given a free switch, M-Heracross can bypass Keldeo's Sub and OHKO it with Bullet Seed. Unfortunately, M-Heracross is crippled by Scald burns which happen way more often than it would want to. On the other hand, the beetle has a (shaky) backup plan: it can choose to stay in its regular form hoping for a burn and if it happens, Heracross can OHKO with a Guts-boosted Close Combat. This strategy is not reliable though, so just stick to the plan of coming in on Keldeo via free switch/VoltTurn, hoping not to get burned if it uses Scald and OHKO with Bullet Seed. Toxic Ord Heracross could work that way, but Keldeo would only have to Sub twice before OHKOing it with Scald (including Toxic damage and Def drops).
252 SpA Keldeo Secret Sword vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mega Heracross: 61-72 (20.2 - 23.9%) -- 68.8% chance to 4HKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Keldeo Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Heracross: 126-148 (41.8 - 49.1%) -- 84.4% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Keldeo Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Heracross: 126-148 (41.8 - 49.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and burn damage (don't get burned!)

252 Atk Mega Heracross Bullet Seed (5 hits) vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Keldeo: 390-470 (120.3 - 145%) -- guaranteed OHKO (reliable OHKO even if Keldeo is behind a Sub and at full health)
252 SpA Keldeo Secret Sword vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Heracross: 87-103 (28.9 - 34.2%) -- 99.8% chance to 3HKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Keldeo Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Heracross: 136-162 (45.1 - 53.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

If Heracross is burned by Scald:
252 Atk Guts Heracross Close Combat vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Keldeo: 313-369 (96.6 - 113.8%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO (about as reliable as Stone Edge... bleh)

Serperior as a Counter

Serperior @ Leftovers / Life Orb
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 12 Def / 244 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 29 HP / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Leaf Storm
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Dragon Pulse / Giga Drain
- Substitute / Synthesis

Serperior can easily counter Keldeo as it outspeeds and has Leaf Storm to OHKO. It just has enough bulk to switch in as Keldeo uses CM and take a +1 Secret Sword, then 2HKO with Leaf Storm.

240 SpA Serperior Leaf Storm vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Keldeo: 320-378 (99 - 117%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
240 SpA Life Orb Serperior Leaf Storm vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Keldeo: 416-491 (128.7 - 152%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Keldeo Secret Sword vs. 0 HP / 12 Def Serperior: 144-169 (49.8 - 58.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
+1 252 SpA Keldeo Secret Sword vs. 0 HP / 12 Def Serperior: 213-252 (73.7 - 87.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

29 HP IVs reach a LO number (If using it), while 12 Def EVs avoid any chance of an OHKO after SR from Secret Sword, Substitute can be used to abuse switches and Synthesis or Giga Drain can be used to stay healthy

The premier special wall of OU, Chansey, is a hard counter to Dragalge. It takes little damage from Dragalge's attacks and can slowly wear it down with Seismic Toss.

252+ SpA Choice Specs Adaptability Dragalge Draco Meteor vs. 4 HP / 252 SpD Eviolite Chansey: 194-230 (30.2 - 35.8%) -- 38.5% chance to 3HKO

Metagross @ Metagrossite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Meteor Mash
- Zen Headbutt
- Hammer Arm
- Grass Knot

Thanks to Metagross's natural bulk, regardless of whether it's mega evolved or not it can tank any of Dragalge's moves and threaten it out with a Zen Headbutt:
252+ SpA Draco Plate Adaptability Dragalge Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Metagross: 167-197 (55.4 - 65.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ SpA Dragalge Hidden Power Fire vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Metagross: 130-154 (43.1 - 51.1%) -- 50% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock

252+ SpA Draco Plate Adaptability Dragalge Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Metagross: 141-166 (46.8 - 55.1%) -- 99.6% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ SpA Dragalge Hidden Power Fire vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Metagross: 110-130 (36.5 - 43.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock

252 Atk Tough Claws Mega Metagross Zen Headbutt vs. 228 HP / 0 Def Dragalge: 410-486 (125 - 148.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

I put it as a check since it can only manually switch in once. After that you risk getting spanked with a Draco Meteor, which is arguably the most spammable move on the set.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP / 224 SpD / 32 Spe
Careful Nature
- Iron Head
- Body Slam
- Wish

Standard.spdef Rachi, walls Dragalge all day and doesn't care about Tspikes unlike random mons like Chansey. Also it keeps itself healthy with WishTect, so it doesn't get worn down easily. Dragalage is doing like 30% tops so yeah even crits don't matter. Jirachi is pretty good check because it won't do anything due to flinches its typing. You can run U-turn if you want since it lets you do stuff like pass a Wish and then U-turn out once Dragalge realizes it can't do anything. Jirachi lives everything and then haxes iron heads it to death.

Calcs:
252+ SpA Draco Plate Adaptability Dragalge Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 224+ SpD Jirachi: 113-133 (27.9 - 32.9%)

EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power Ice
- Focus Blast / Stealth Rocks
- Knock Off / Sludge Wave

The mon that is rising in popularity, Lando-I, is a solid check for Dragalge. It always threatens it out with its stab Earth Power. It is also never affected by toxic spikes, thanks to its flying type, so it cant be worn down by the toxic spikes dragalge might lay up.

Landorus is only a check however, because it cant switch in on a draco, and draco is the move Dragalge will be clicking 99% of the time.

Cresselia's immense special bulk, reliable recovery and immunity to Toxic Spikes make it an excellent Dragalge counter. While Cresselia avoids being 2HKOed by Draglage and can recover its health via Moonlight, it can deal a good amount of damage with Psyshock and even set up a Reflect or paralyze another mon on the switch-in.

Ability: Light Metal
EVs: 248 HP / 44 Atk / 16 Def / 200 SpD
Impish Nature
- Swords Dance
- Roost

- Knock Off / Superpower

Due to Mega Scizor's fantastic typing and phenomenal bulk, as long as Dragalge does not have Hidden Power Fire, Mega Scizor walls Dragalage and freely sets up on it. It can switch in multiple times to Dragalge's Draco Meteor and can simply Roost off the damage, and it is immune to its second STAB attack, Sludge Wave. Focus Blast does minimal damage since it's not STAB with no boosting item. Not to mention, Mega Scizor has an immunity to Toxic Spikes, meaning it cannot be worn down by them.

You can also come in freely to put up SR against Dragalge, so there's that.

Gardevoir @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 24 Def / 232 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Taunt / Will-O-Wisp / Calm Mind

Mega Gardevoir can safely switch into any attack not named Sludge Wave, outspeed and OHKO with STAB Psyshock. Pixilate-boosted Hyper Voice is a very strong STAB move and deals a lot of damage, even to resists. Focus Blast rounds out the coverage by hitting Heatran and Ferrothorn Super Effectively. In the last slot, Taunt can be used to pressure defensive teams, Will-O-Wisp to cripple physical attackers on the switch (such as Scizor and Azumarill) while Calm Mind can be used to clean up bulkier teams.

Calculations:
252+ SpA Adaptability Dragalge Sludge Wave vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Gardevoir: 288-340 (103.9 - 122.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Dragalge Hidden Power Fire vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Gardevoir: 45-54 (16.2 - 19.4%) -- possible 5HKO after Stealth Rock
232 SpA Mega Gardevoir Psyshock vs. 228 HP / 0 Def Dragalge: 338-398 (103 - 121.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Calm Nature
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Recover
- Thunder Wave/Toxic/Foul Play

p2 is able to take anything dragalge wants to do and is able to recover of the damage. it really doesnt appreciate being toxiced, but it can manage with poison.
252+ SpA Dragalge Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 56+ SpD Eviolite Porygon2: 140-166 (37.4 - 44.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252+ SpA Draco Plate Adaptability Dragalge Draco Meteor vs. 248 HP / 56+ SpD Eviolite Porygon2: 182-216 (48.7 - 57.9%) -- 95.7% chance to 2HKO not really a 2hko when you factor in drops and you can just reocver

Reserving Mega Diancie.

Pokemon: Mega Diancie
Status: Check

diancie-mega.gif

Diancie @ Diancite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 64 HP / 16 Atk / 252 SpA / 176 Spe
Rash Nature
- Rock Polish
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
- Diamond Storm

Mega Diancie is a decent to Toxic Spikes Dragalge. Toxic Spikes gets bounced back, Draco Meteor doesn't affect it due to Fairy typing, Focus Blast doesn't do nearly enough to 2HKO, & it resists Hidden Power fire. However, Diancie is 2HKO'd by Sludge Wave. As long as Mega Diancie doesn't switch into Sludge Wave, she can cleanly 2HKO with Earth Power.

252 SpA Dragalge Focus Blast vs. 64 HP / 0- SpD Mega Diancie: 110-130 (42.8 - 50.5%) -- 2% chance to 2HKO

252 SpA Dragalge Hidden Power Fire vs. 64 HP / 0- SpD Mega Diancie: 28-33 (10.8 - 12.8%) -- possible 8HKO

252 SpA Adaptability Dragalge Sludge Wave vs. 64 HP / 0- SpD Mega Diancie: 174-206 (67.7 - 80.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ SpA Mega Diancie Earth Power vs. 228 HP / 0 SpD Dragalge: 212-250 (64.6 - 76.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery

Mega Venusaur as a Check

venusaur-mega.gif

Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chrolophyll
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Synthesis
- Leech Seed/Sleep Powder/HP Fire/Earthquake

Mega Venu is good check as it has incredible bulk, is not weak to anything drag has, and can absorb toxic spikes. Went with special bulky set to best tank hits. Other ev spreads are fine but you are less reliable here. You can't do too much damage, but can synthesis off damage. Last move customizable. Luckily Venu is faster

Drag's draco's hit hard like really hard.
252+ SpA Draco Plate Adaptability Dragalge Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Mega Venusaur: 194-230 (53.2 - 63.1%)
252+ SpA Adaptability Dragalge Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Mega Venusaur: 112-134 (30.7 - 36.8%)

0 SpA Mega Venusaur Sludge Bomb vs. 228 HP Dragalge: 48-57 (14.6 - 17.3%)
Really bad yes but hopefully you are running sleep powder, EQ, or leech seed.

0 Atk Mega Venusaur Earthquake vs. 228 HP / 0 Def Dragalge: 158-186 (48.1 - 56.7%) -- 86.7% chance to 2HKO
Probably your best option

Otherwise drag can just fish for a crit or set up toxic spikes.

Only a check because its easy to wear venu down via hazards burns etc...
