Just beat Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue! for PS1. Played on the Retro Roundup! collection.
It was pretty fun! The controls and camera held up surprisingly well, even if they both had some minor annoyances. Soundtrack was awesome and the levels were pretty good overall. Running around normal places that are made bigger by being a toy just tickles my brain. I feel like the game kind of loses steam at the very end since the final actual level is a very large and flat plain (also the plane) that is followed by a fight against 3 reused bosses all at once, but the short length of the whole playthrough helps keep the momentum going. Very easy to 100% and the rewind alleviates some of the more awkward platforming. Nothing exceptional outside of the soundtrack but definitely a solid collectathon. 7/10, would recommend.
