GREETINGS YOU MAGNIFICENT BASTARDS!!!!

I decided to create a team based around Tyrantrum, aka No switchins, aka Meat Ripper, aka Meat Guzzler, aka Cretaceous Not Jurassic, aka Shorter Than You Think.

I will accept and consider any and all rates, however the replacement of Tyrantrum will not be accepted.

tyrantrum.jpg

Cretaceous Park (Tyrantrum) (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Rock Head
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Head Smash
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Dragon Claw

Reason for Choosing:
This thing is the definition of power, formidable attack stat alongside an amazing STAB move alongside Rock Head equates to death of all things.

Moveset:
The Choice Band set is by far the deadliest set for Tyrantrum, bolstering its already sky-high attack makes for a force to be reckoned with.
Head Smahs is a no-brainer, there is literally no reason to not use this move. Earthquake hits the likes of Rhyperior and Empoleon for more damage, as they are common switchins. Outrage and Dragon Claw are useful STAB moves, Outrage is for dedicated punishment to your opponent, and Dragon Claw as a useful STAB move if you need it.

250px-680Doublade.png

Bacon And Eggs (Doublade) @ Eviolite
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Sneak
- Sacred Sword
- Gyro Ball

Reason for Choosing:
Something to kill fairies is nice for Tyrantrum to easily sweep a slower team.

Moveset:
Swords Dance is a very nice option for Doublade, as it tends to make many Pokemon switch out. Shadow Sneak provides much needed priority as Doublade has a pitiful speed stat. Sacred Sword is nice for steel type switchins such as Empoleon or Mega Aggron, as they are typical Pokemon to switch into a Shadow Sneak or steel attack. Gyro Ball is nice as it can easily take down anything moderately fast.

Alternative Options:
Shadow Claw over Shadow Sneak can be an option should you choose to embrace the slow nature of Doublade as opposed to compensate for it.

crobat.jpg

Shitty Ass Story (Crobat) (M)
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 248 HP / 44 Atk / 216 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Acrobatics
- Roost
- Defog
- Taunt

Reason for Choosing:
Every team needs a hazard remover, and Crobat is one of the best in the game. It also seems to synergize well with Doublade and Tyrantrum due to the typings of the three.

Moveset:
Acrobatics is a nice STAB move for any Crobat. I really don't know how to describe the rest of the set, we all know what it does and doesn't need explanation.

Alternative Options:
Brave Bird is a good alternative to Acrobatics as it provides extra damage at the cost of added recoil.

mienshao.jpg

Whip Me bb mmmm (Mienshao) (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Stone Edge
- Knock Off
- U-turn

Reason for Choosing:
Due to Tyrantrum's somewhat poor defensive typing as well as low SpD, he has trouble switching in. Something to pivot into the guy is very nice, and Mienshao seemed to be the best option.

Moveset:
High Jump Kick is a no-brainer move, due to its immense power combined with Reckless. Stone Edge hits flying types such as Crobat or Salamence for good damage, usually a 2HKO. Knock hits Ghost a Types such as Doublade, who may try to absorb your hits. U-turn is for the aforementioned pivoting, which is required for Tyrantrum.

Alternative Options:
N/A

cresselia.jpg

Not A Moon Duck (Cresselia) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Moonlight
- Thunder Wave
- Psychic
- Moonblast

Reason for Choosing:
A Pokemon to provide Thunder Wave support is very nice for Tyrantrum due to it's lackluster speed. Cresselia is obviously the best option for this, as her massive defensive stats make the job easy.

Moveset:
Moonlight is for the easy recovery (duuuuuuuuh). Thunder Wave is for the support (duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh). Psychic is for the STAB just in case you need to defend yourself. Moonblast hits dark types who like to switch in and attempt to kill you.

Alternative Options:
N/A

seismitoad.jpg

I Need Epiduo (Seismitoad) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Scald
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Knock Off

Reason for Choosing:
I HAVE NO SCALD SWITCHINS AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Moveset:
Scald is for the AIDS......nuff sed. Stealth Rock is an obvious choice as most teams need hazard setup. Earthquake is nice for ground STAB, and destroys Empoleon, a common lead. Knock Off is nice for the utility and it can do a good amount to the likes of Cresselia.

Alternative Options:
I don't see anything else you could possibly run.

Sup Lilligant for OU, cool looking team. I always like seeing Tyrantrum being used, this thing is an absolute monster. I'd like to recommend a couple of things to help this team out.

A huge weakness I see in this team is its weakness to Hydreigon + Nidos, which are seen a TON nowadays. You have 0 switch-in's to them and they can basically get a kill every time they come in, if not they weaken Seismitoad a TON, which is pretty much your only switch-in. I'd like to recommend using Curselax over Doublade. This gives you a solid Special Attacker check as well as a nice set-up sweeper. Curselax has been getting way more love lately, as it should, its a monster.

Edit: if you also choose to go physDef Seismitoad as Vapo suggested, definitely run Earth Power > EQ to avoid the downside of getting burnt by sacred fires.

Snorlax set:
snorlax.gif

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 144 HP / 188 Def / 176 SpD
Careful Nature
- Curse
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Body Slam

EV's are just for standard Curselax, being able to tank some physical hits once it gets a curse up as well as avoiding being 2HKO'd by Mega Blastoise's Aura Sphere. It's also fun to spam Body Slam early game to get those para's. :^) Also another minor nitpick is that I'd put the 4 EV's on Seismitoad into its attack over special attack.

Other than that change, I think its one of the more solid teams you've posted in RMT, and I hope you consider my changes. Good luck with your team! :)

Hey Lilligant for OU, cool team! Tyrantrum is a monster. I can't think of anything that likes switching into a banded Head Smash lol. Anyways, onto the rate, as I see a few weaknesses your team has:
  • You seem to have a glaring Hydreigon weakness. Nothing enjoys switching into it, and the LO set can OHKO / 2HKO practically everything on your team. To mitigate this weakness, I would suggest changing Cresselia -> Porygon2. You lose a fighting resist in doing so, but I believe Doublade / Crobat cover most fighting types, so it shouldn't be an issue. I would suggest a mixed bulk set which runs 248 HP / 104 Def /156 SpD with a Bold Nature. This maximized p2's bulk on both sides of the spectrum and gives you a reliable Hydreigon switchin. I would run a moveset of Tri Attack / Ice Beam / Thunder Wave / Recover. You still maintain thunder wave support with p2 over cress, but without the Hydreigon weakness.
  • I also noticed you don't really have a solid fire spam switchin. Entei in particular seems really annoying for your team, as your resists really do not appreciate the potential burn from Sacred Fire. Seismitoad is about the only thing that you can afford to switch in, and since it is SpD it won't be taking hits very well. I suggest switching your EV spread from your SpD set to 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA with a Relaxed Nature. This allows you to more comfortably switch into Entei and allows you to check it throughout the match. Since Seismitoad is your Entei fodder, it will likely get burned throughout the match, so I would also suggest changing Earthquake -> Earth Power so your damage output is not cut in half if you happen to get burned.
Other than that, I feel like you have a strong team. I hope you take my rate into consideration and try out my suggestions. Good luck :]

Hey man, nice team! Tyrantrum is a monster, although I prefer DD Lum because Rantrum forces a lot of switches anyway, and predicting is only for the skilled players (not me).

Anyway, some set suggestions I have are Calm Mind > Psychic on Cresselia. Scarf mienshao isn't the best answer to things like Umbreon as Switching into Foul Play and HJKing on Protect will most of the time kill off Mienshao.

CM Moonblast makes you less vulmerable to Set up mons.

I agree with the switch on Curselax > Doublade. It leaves you more vulnerable to Fighting spam, but Cresselia and Crobat can take out most fighting types with ease and also gives you a better answer to Hydreigon!

All of your suggestions have been considered, but the Thread Editor is awful on mobile, and I don't have access to a PC or anything of the sort, but I will be posting a pastebin out of the suggestions I used on the team

Im fond of the idea of sending my opponents ot the rice fields, its an awful unwanted fate, but know whats worse? Giving somone cancer in the race feilds! So ya here ya go.

Jolly LO feat rock polish on tyrantrum could allow for some late game sweeps. Dragon claw and outrage hit almost nothing that head smash + EQ do not and are much weaker neutrally. As an option I would suggest

252 Atk Life Orb Tyrantrum Aerial Ace vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Chesnaught: 203-244 (53.4 - 64.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

If your going to abuse tyrantrum and scarf shao and cress an ebelt mixed lure crobat could be some cool tech along with a grass knot seismitoed allowing you to remove both doublade and swampert.

Crobat @ Expert Belt
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 236 Atk / 96 SpA / 176 Spe
Naive Nature
- Heat Wave
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- U-turn/Defog/Taunt

This set is pretty adjustable I personaly prefer to run 88 def to continue doing the normal crobat jobs along with speed creep for other crobats, but its up to you.

96 SpA Expert Belt Crobat Heat Wave vs. 240 HP / 16 SpD Eviolite Doublade: 161-190 (50.4 - 59.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Finnaly since you have 2 100% safe crobat switchins stone edge feels unessecary on shao. So lets go back to gen 5 and use some weird tech.

Mienshao @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 40 SpA / 216 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- High Jump Kick
- U-turn
- Knock Off

40 SpA Mienshao Hidden Power Ice vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Salamence: 208-248 (62.8 - 74.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
40 SpA Mienshao Hidden Power Ice vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Salamence: 208-248 (52.9 - 63.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

while only slightly stronger than stone edge it has a few advantages, it cant miss, it does just enough after lefties to force even the fatest mence into 2 hit KO range of reckless HJK, and you look like a badass.

A colbur berry on cress would help relieve that dark weakness considerably.

1. Add an Importable

I feel like you have a pretty cool team aside from the fact that a bunch of the best mons like Hydreigon and feraligatr can punch giant holes in your team. At +2 Gatr can sweep your entire team given good dice rolls and SR. I realise that it doesn't have a lot to set up on but even unboosted it can do a decent amount to every min on your team with its Ice+Dark+Water coverage. Hydreigon is also a giant threat which can easily 2HKO every mon on your team with a life orb, or so the people above me say---I haven't done the calcs (Shut up Lil some of us have lives). ScarfShao is really your only reliable way to kill drei aside from a secret sword from Doublade or a moon blast from cresselia, but none of these mins can switch in reliably. Because of things like dark pulse and Draco meteor. I believe the snorlax>Doublade is a great option as it alleviates the distress that the disgusting S moms give you as well as sets up a win condition and a check to the Nidos. I don't agree with aerial ace and rock polish or hidden power ice. They're both gimmicky sets and removing so much power for a way to do 60% to chesnaught is not very good imo. Hp Ice? Why would you stay in as a mienshao against a Salamence? I guess predicting a switch into menace would be ok, but even so, most salamences are bulky af and will piss on your terrible SpAtkIf anything, put poison jab on mienshao to kill Florges. P2 also seems like a good idea for you. Draco Meteors suck and having the most annoying duck in the world replacing the second most annoying duck in the world is smart af. You can check out the Next Best Thing (UU) to vote for my god tier Scarf Polygon2 set which capitalizes on the populairty of Doublade in the tier. Have a great day Lil! By the way, your names for Tyrantrum sound like what you call your dick. Except "crustaceous" not "Cretaceous" and "way smaller than you think" not "smaller than you think." On mobile so sorry for short length. Maybe will write more later. Bye
