As for why I lived I could come up with some theories but they're all dependent on what the mafia thinks my role is precisely so for me it comes down to "don't know, don't care"
I feel like a mafia inspector wouldn't need to be able to check if someone is mafia. Or if you conjecture that this could be bait, I really feel like mafia wouldn't need an obvious dummy alien inspection who's only purpose is to get a false guilty on acids role.Basically, however I'm not saying I think they do. Simply that there's still a good chance Texas is mafia with that role so he shouldn't be cleared.
Also Blazade does make a good (though WIFOM) point about Flyhn v Texas's death

Yes I understand that which is why I added the qualifier about the alien check. Given there's no aliens in the game the only reason the alien check exists is to get false flagged as guilty when investigating acid which is an entirely pointless thing to have if you're mafia but very relevant if you're townYou're missing the point, not sure if intentionally or not. But to explain it out, a mafia 3p inspector could easily pretend to also be a mafia inspector because well, they know who is mafia and who isn't and so all that's left is checking who is 3p which in this tinfoil hatting, they would have the ability to do.
Also Da Letter El I still plan to roleblock you tonight if you haven't provided your role.
