well thats what we should be discussing for the rest of the time we have. is it worth leaving blazade alive and potentially mislynching (and losing) to try to target a mafia and are we convinced that blazade cannot in fact convert anyone else, for example if it were an even night only convert

I always fake claim immediately, especially when there's only one other non-claim in viper. What? Why would I be so stubborn unless I were town? As scum I'd want to appear towny and just claim something and get it over with. As town I actually have information that sharing doesn't help in any capacity and only helps scum. It is pro-town play not to claim when I have been cleared as not-mafia.

Stop being ridiculous.
 
That's a bunch of wifom right there, especially when ultimately there's a really good chance mafia have a godfather so being not mafia means little.

I don't see in what world anyone would let someone go free of claiming. We already have a doc dead and someone claiming cop, which if there were any two roles for someone to hide, would probably be dead.

Additionally, considering acid flipped as a town who inspects as mafia and the fact the host seems to like role pairs, there's a really high chance that mafia have a godfather who inspects as town.

So the fact dle refuses to claim reeks on every possible level, and yes there are WIFOM defenses... but they are just that and really don't deserve much consideration.

Finally, in the world where he is town, at this point he's revealed as such and indicated to have a good role so he's now also a likely target for mafia so if he has any results and now dies without sharing them it's just a loss for town.

i want dle to claim but this isnt how you go about it as we approach deadline

VigVig you've outdone yourself this time. What the heck.

I'd say getting Blazade is the safe play, in case he isn't the only cultist and there's still another out there and that he's trying to die for the Cult, but if we do lynch him and there's 3:5 Town Mafia left we're put into LyLo. If it's 3:2:4 rn (Maf : Cult : Town), and we get Blazade it's still LyLo but with a Cultist. If it's 4:1:4 Town is dead both ways.

Most of the possibilities boil down to Town Vs Mafia or Town Vs the unstoppable force of overwhelming loss if we don't lynch Blazade, so I'd say lynching Blazade here is the safest since it leads to the highest chance of not dying. If you habe a very strong scumread though, then you probably should lynch that since getting mafia today is much more optimal.

Tentatively putting vote here until I am sure someone is scum.

And Former, I mean if that's a reloader soft or something I'd be happy to have that extra shot :^)

Scum Texas still a very possibility because he hasn't died after 3 protective roles flipped and he claimed to be the only info role like really that's some garbage

Do remember that there's only been one night action since Mass claim and thus only one night where I'm a distinct target, it's not at all unreasonable to expect scum to think there may have been protection on me.

In my MS experience cops don't die anywhere near as early as they tend to on Smogon for that exact reason, the other reason being its easy to frame them if they don't die

It's also possible I wasn't killed because mafia is smart and can read into things but if that's not the case I won't explain that possibility just yet

I'm kind of on the fence about the Lynch here, my gut is telling me blazade is telling the truth and that makes me want to Lynch fenrir but I've been wrong before and if he does still have recruitment that's basically game over there

xandrojx, blazade, and former hope are the safe votes in that order because i think at this point it's safe to assume its LYLO for town but i can't imagine where the last enemy is. unless shubaka was actually scum but :/
 
i think given everything i'll claim the details of my role as i dont think there's any more benefit to concealing it given who is probably what

Cop of All Trades, one shots of the following
- mafia check
- werewolf check
- cultist check
- alien check
- serial killer check

all return guilty/not guilty results

dle not guilty mafia
metal sonic/former hope not guilty alien
blazade guilty cultist

i'll note here that in addition to mafia fearing protection roles it's entirely possible they didnt kill me because they saw my claim of cop of all trades, saw that i had used a mafia check on dle and claimed as such and correctly interpreted that i could not check for additional mafia

pretty sure werewolf is a decoy check in the same way arsonist is a decoy check on DBWs role
pretty sure xnadrojx has to be a serial killer, my having a decoy check, dbw having multiple kill protections and a rolestop, and acids role converting the serial killer to town all imply the existence of such a role, plus the secondary kill when he shot haruno
acid's role is itself useless if there isn't a serial killer, it's only other utility is to false flag guilty on my alien check otherwise

HOWEVER i think xnadrojx was telling the truth about his role being one shot janitor, the one shot kill makes a lot of sense from a balance perspective given the existence of an also mafia and a cultist as well as playing into the possibility of getting shot and then converted by acid, therefore i would not be concerned about the possibility of future kills


therefore i think the safest play is to lynch blazade today and remove the cultist threat and then follow up with a jordan and/or former hope lynch on the following two days to take us to 3 way lylo and a chance at victory we really don't deserve
 
what if it is champ and former as scum team? champs original claim was roleblocker but all three of hawkie, toni, and dbw had rolestopper in their PM. given former's position subbing in for metal sonic and being in a pretty inherently scummy position i could see him playing for the gambit of claiming same role as champ to pseudo-clear one when the other dies
