What are all the possible sources of Pokémon?

Most Pokémon come from main line Pokemon games, but there are other ways to get Pokémon that can then be sent to the main games or home.
Off the top of my head is:
The main games
Legends arceus and za
Pokémon go
At least one rangers game gets you i think a manaphy egg
Pokémon ranch on the Wii have some eggs
I believe the coliseum game’s Pokemon can be transferred
There’s distribution events in stores and home
And while writing this list I remembered the poke walker

Can you think of any I missed?
Is there a list anywhere that covers this specifically, not just a list of all side games? because I couldn’t find it.

I feel like I am qualified enough to confirm that all three games had distributions back in the day through a… game mode? Service? Whatever you want to call it, it was called (the) “Ranger Net” and for the first game in 2006 this was pretty much entirely used for the Manaphy Egg and, unlike the events for the later games didn’t require Nintendo WFC. There is a full list of Ranger Net distributions on Bulbapedia, so I won’t post that here since SadisticMystic already included the link above this post and it would be redundant.

The closest things we’ve gotten to the Ranger Net in modern games have been a few Mythical events (Pecharunt and Mochi Mayhem in SV’s DLC, and Diancie in Legends Z-A). Unfortunately BDSP and Legends completely changed how Manaphy is obtained, but being the massive Ranger fan I am, I admittedly don’t know what else they could have done exactly. I like what they came up with but I feel like there was potential here for some kind of reference.

How can I call myself a Ranger super-fan if I missed out on these events growing up, this and missing out on Mario Kart Wii’s online are my biggest childhood “regrets” even though I had no control over it

To my knowledge, MKWii's online community is actually still pretty active running off fan servers. Though it's probably tough to get into: I expect the average player skill is around the "been playing this game for 15+ years" bracket.

I do actually have access to those nowadays and I’d like to think I’ve performed decently when I last played; recently I’ve been playing more the handheld games and World, so it’s been a while but I think I could still hold my own with some more practice.

For the sake of this thread, what I was mainly taking a jab at were the discontinued tournaments Nintendo would hold for the game that give me big Mystery Gift vibes. Those really could and/or should have been like how Mission Mode was in DS. Untimed (and even some limited time if they don’t pull a GameStop) events are accessible for me now that I have Internet connection but until 2014 we didn’t and opportunities to do anything online were rare… oh, would you look at that, that’s the same year Nintendo WFC shut down. Oh, well, at least I had Mario Kart 8 to make up for it and the 3DS Pokémon games I had much more access to events as well.
