What are the uses and how would you buff Stall ability?

-Encore and Torment work 100%, good combo with substitute/dig as 3 move.
(can take out 2 pokemon at least if used right)

- Payback doubles powers

-works well with Metal Burst and good allows first Fake Out and after that metal burst combo

-decresed priority moves like Payback, Avalanche against it never will double their power, dragon tail will move after it and

-do some move miss when user moves last?

-disable and status moves that need you make the oponent move first always work well?

-theoretically when psychic terrain is activated should Sabley that always moves "last" not cause the oponents moves to be counted as priority moves and cause blocking them?

-a combo of Quash , stall and Psychic terrain anyone?

-how does it work with trick room and psychic terrain in sword and shield?

Or, since Sableye is the only Pokemon that has Stall (why such an odd Ability for its Signature?), use a Prankster Sableye. Sableye is slow enough already so it doesn't need an Ability to assure it goes last, best not to waste the Ability slot on it.

But if it was created would be cool to make it immune to decreased priority moves and make it usefull in psychic terrain by blocking all oponents moves for 5 turns against it or not?

The Encore and Torment combo to cause struggle and use dig or create a substitute also could come in handy in regular battles.

Would be cool if old abilities like this got buffs with other things to be more usefull somehow.

How does Stall work with Endure actually? Would it take up turns of a Dynamax foes attack taking that its not a protect or substitute?

There are no uses for Stall and it will always remain that way.

Please don't start with your terrible unsubstantiated wish listing posts in Orange Islands. It's bad enough elsewhere, but this place is too good for you to start posting here. Please talk about what's in the game and not what you would like to be in the game.

Immunity to decreased priority moves: Actually Stall doesn't really effect those moves as Stall only makes Sableye move last in the same priority bracket. So if your opponent used Avalanche (a -4 Priority), unless Sableye also uses a -4 Priority or lower, the opponent will still be moving last. Also, looking at the list of lower Priority moves, none of them are anything to worry about seeing use except Trick Room, maybe Counter/Mirror Coat, and maybe the forced switch out moves (and really Stall won't help much with any of those).

Psychic Terrain: I think you're misunderstanding what Psychic Terrain does. Psychic Terrain only blocks moves with higher priority (think Quick Attack and its many clones, Extreme Speed, First Impressions, and also includes Moves which had their Priority increased via Prankster & Gale Wings). All other moves are unaffected.

As for some other stuff you mentions:

The moves that require your opponent to move first are all situational. And Sabelye is slow enough that the ones it can learn are likely to work.

Sure Payback and Metal Burst are likely to activate their effects... but they're likely to do anyway as Sableye is slow.
