What aren't we writing about? (Pokemon unfit for OU Analyses)

It's a bit like Linoone though...it only works if you can guarantee one free turn for setting up. And even then, it still has a few problems.

Clamperl was a gimmick at best last generation, and the circumstances haven't changed much. Sure, Trick Room is easier to use now, but priority is more common.

EDIT: Also, if you're thinking of using Shell Break, good luck buddy.

shell break seems like a very entertaining gimmick. Hydro Pump/HP Fighting/Ice Beam/Shell Break is idiotically powerful.

For the hell of it:
CB BP from Scizor: 65.4% - 76.8% (all calcs at -1)
No status or CB or LO Conkeldurr: 61.6% - 73%
Dragonite Extremespeed: 79.6% - 93.8%

I can't really think of any stronger priority TBH.

To succeed, it appreciates rain. With it, it gets past Rotom-W with Hydro Pump (actually I'm not sure that it needs it to KO...), which allows use of HP Fighting (or fire lol) to get past Ferrothorn. In addition, as can be seen from those calc, it simply cannot take any damage or else it will die.

Also the smogon calculator is broken; simply make its SpA +6; deepseatooth is nonfunctional.

It is mainly outclassed by Mew. Mesprit has Healing Wish, Levitate, and 5 more points in base attack, while Mew matches its TM/HM/Move Tutor movepool and then has more and Mew is slightly bulkier and speedier.

Resisting two of the most common attacking types (Ghost, Dragon) does help Bisharp.

I don't know about Ghost being one of the most common, but Fighting, Ground, and Fire are among the most common too.

Has anyone seen a Mesprit yet? Anyways, I think it's too average to be much of an asset to a team when you can use someone most likely better.

^^Forgot Mew was legal.

But that's just what Mesprit is: Average. In 4th gen, it was the trick user bulky enough to take Scizor's Uturn after SR (and serious investment), but enough attack to OHKO it (banded) with Fire punch. Uxie couldn't hit that hard, and Azelf certainly couldn't take U-turn.

well besides the gengar, how many ghosts do you see in ou commonly. the jelly doesnt even use shadow ball much leaving it to just be gengar is most cases.

Ever heard of Shadow Ball, and how Gengar, Lucario, Chandelure, et al. use it in almost every set they could possibly run?
Lucario doesn't run Shadow Ball "in almost every set it could possibly run" given that Swords Dance is still its most popular set. Though, even if Bisharp does switch in on a resisted attack, what is it really going to do? Spam Sucker Punch and pray to god that no one realizes that it has a shitty offensive movepool? Two out of three of the mentioned Pokemon [commonly] have a solid method of beating Bisharp (i.e, Substitute + Disable / 4x Sucker Punch resistance), which really pushes a 'predict or lose' situation in most cases; just IMO, relying on prediction to set up doesn't really make for a decent sweeper. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Bisharp's OU analysis, as it's very well written atm, but it's kind of hard to see it being of immediate use due to how much effort has to be placed into switching it in, let alone setting up a Swords Dance. I personally haven't used Bisharp much and upon encountering one, have never really had a problem with it outside of late-game - and if Bisharp only gets use late-game, "why not just use [insert strong priority user]?".

I really think that Murkrow is viable because he has Mischeivous heart, perishlook, eviolite, and roost to make a very good staller./

Murkrow just isn't very bulky even with the Eviolite. It also really hates Toxic/Burn/Leech Seed, because it really relies on Roost to stay alive.

This, might make a good UU analysis though (I want it to come soon).

I've been using a bulky Swords Dance Scyther lately and it has been doing well. It might lack Leftovers recovery but it has 150 Defences and, a nice amount of HP, a good amount of Attack and Speed that's over 100. The only reason to use it over Scizor are the Speed and Defences but that's about it and in all do respect, Scizor is better overall. Oh well, guess I'll just wait for UU. Then again, you never know, Scyther might be thrown into BL.

On top of that, while I was taking on the Battle Subway's Wi-Fi line, the foe's Sawsbuck used Nature Power and out came Tri Attack...which cost me the match because it froze my Rotom. Someone might want to contact the guys who are working on an analysis that mentions Nature Power.

Battle subway is diferent then what Pokemon Online has, apparently its a sand terrain, which gives it the power of earthquake. It got a mention on the Tangrowth analysis for that.

Really? Odd, guess they now use marble floors, ha ha ha...I know that was terrible but thanks for the info, I'll try it out.

Alakazam isn't OU material, it's taken out by pretty much every priority in the metagame and with its paper thin defenses it is OHKO'd by most neutral hits. It can't even really OHKO most of the metagame either despite its high offensive stats. It's UU material even with Psyshock to help it. Maybe there can be talk once it gets magic guard.

I seriously belive Alakazam should at least get an OU analysis; it had the stats of an OU.

alakazam doesn't have a complete niche it can fill and cant take a hit. at least until magic guard comes out i dont see it getting an analysis

As Raikoulover ( i think) once said entei should be taken off the list stealth cocks is not as great as it was with xatu and espeon running around and entei does have extreemspeedd and flare blitz and he has a good pdw ability

First off, please don't double post.

Secondly, Entei may be good, but he's simply outclassed by Darmanitan.

Lastly, Gigalith is outclassed by...well, everything else, really.
