What is the most overused and threatening pokemon of all?

Which is the most overused and deadliest pokemon?

Probably because it isn't deadly.

CM Bliss is plenty deadly. No joke ._.

Going to have to run with the general consensus and say Garchomp and Salamence. Garchomp - ScarfChomp and OMFG-I-hate-BrightpowderChomp in particular - I think is more deadly in actuality (having a Steelix helps), but SpecsMence is a bigger problem for my team personally (not having a Blissey doesn't)

TTar is dangerous, but he really has too many weaknesses to exploit.

As for non-obvious Pokes, HaxKiss angers me so very, very much. Too bad it's not over-used enough to be on this poll, but I'd vote for that in a heartbeat if it were.

Bidoof isn't on the poll. Thread is stillborn.

Since we have actual statistics of which Offensive ("deadliest" criteria) Pokemon is used the most, I can safely say that all that can and needs to be said in this thread has already been so.

Gyarados isn't getting much love, but it's so difficult to wall. I mean, it takes out Skarmory one-on-one (provided it doesn't just get phazed out). It's ridiculously bulky for a physical sweeper, and Intimidate can just ruin a good sweep. Anything faster than it with a decent Thunderbolt is a huge threat, but so is anything faster than a Dragon with Ice beam...

Two parts: Overused and deadly. Overused is Garchomp, threatening would be also Garchomp, as a bad miss or two in sandstorm can cost you the game.

Luvdisc comes a close second. You can probably 2-3HKO all the dangerous dragons with ice beam, and rain dance surf is scary.

Out of all Pokemon, I fear Yanmega and Magnezone a lot more than any of the options given.

Out of those, I'd say Infernape.

Oh, and Garchomp is obviously the most overused one, that was proven already.

I would have voted for electrive if it was an option.

Or swampert, only because my team is swampert weak :S

Where's the Heracross option? Anyways, I voted for Garchomp, as it has an awesome movepool and even an evil trait to back it up.

Breloom, but he's not listed.

Of the listed, the only one that gives me trouble is Sashed Weavile. Everyone else I have little problem with usually.

Uh, I never understood why there's such a negative connotation with something being "OU". It means that it's (usually) very good. The only bad thing is that there's little surprise value.

I don't think this game has one single centralized offensive threat. Gyarados and Garchomp are close, reinforcing Boltbeam on things that already have "hit everything neutral" (cough Gengar cough), but the game is more centralized than ever with Blissey. It's not a bad thing necessarily, but I wish things like Regice and Empoleon got Slack Off/Recover to compete.

Generally, every Poke on that list, the teams I make pretty much counter evry one of 'em. I've never had too much trouble with the "Overused/Deadly" Pokes like Garchomp and Salamence and Gyarados, I can usually mop them up no problem.

I'd have to say Garchomp though, he is used a lot, but that's not my problem. Just gives all the more oppurtunity to put Weavile on my team. =D

I also hate it when people complain about Blissey. Seriously, it's not that hard to take down.

Infernape, its extremely hard to reliably counter that. With so many different Infernapes running around and the variety of its movepool its like facing a box of chocolates. Only Blissey and Snorlax don't want any.

I've never really found Garchomp threatening personally, with the exception of that bloody powderchomp. Any other Garchomp I can reliably counter, especially the scarf'd varieties.

I think that Breloom is the most annoying pokemon. When someone has it on their team, I lose about 60% of the time… especially when they Sub instead of sporing a guy… Why isn’t it on the list?

I really hate Garchomp though… it’s strong, and it stole Salamence’s thunder. Salamence is one of my fave OU pokes.

Gengar isn't up there so I vote infernape. =)

So many options for moves, its much deadlier than Garchomp when played right.

The most OU Pokemon is Blissey. Nearly every team has one, or they get raped by Gengar and friends.

The most feared for me is Heracross. It comes out, and it could be anything. Scarfed? Banded? And then it whips out the horn...

I voted garchomp because CBchomp is so powerful it can do stuff like 2 ko cresslia with outrage so unless you have a steel type to absorb outrage and garchomp comes in on something it can scare like blissey, you've just lost a team member unless you have focus sash and switch in something like weavile which i wouldn't do in the first place, fuck CSchomp its good but not this good. Tyranitar would be my second vote because its move pool is as big as godzilla, you just can't safely switch into that thing. Infernape and salamence are my third votes as both do a huge amount of damge, but SR damage is really annoying on salamence and infernape dies to a three year old's punches. Starmie lol, not really mismagius should replace it because the calmmind version is so hard to counter, blissey can only counter it if she does calm mind and also mismagius can surprise counters with perish trapping which is also a very deadly set on her since the calmmid counters usually can't handle perish trapping.

Blisseys definately one of the most overused Pokemon! Dunno why you didn't add it?

Well it isn't exactly threatning, just annoying.

I voted for mence because I always lose one of my walls to it not knowing if it's mixed, specs, CB, DD, or something else.

Blissey is the most used Pokemon currently (for the 3rd generation in a row!), yet she isn't on the poll? Apparently more than 40% of teams have one.

Garchomp is the most overused.
Infernape is probably the most threatening because he is simply impossible to wall and you have no idea which set out of his 3 or 4 he's running.

What is good about tyranitar is that in ubers, he can survive a 1x calm mind aura sphere from Mewtwo as long as T-Tar is in a Sandstorm. Then, he can 1hko mewtwo with crunch or pursuit if Mewtwo is switching out as long as he is holding a choice band. I think he could do that with any psychic uber not named Lugia. Probably in OU, the only thing I could think of that can wall Tyranitar is Swampert, in ubers, fighting type Arceus (that is why Jibaku uses one) and Groudon.
