Have you even read the "Unified Diff" thread or the "BL/UU" thread?
I'm not sure what point you're trying to make.

According to Shoddy statistics, Garchomp is the most oft-used Pokemon on the poll. However, I stand by my belief that Tyranitar is the most threatening Pokemon of D/P because of its ridiculous stats and versatility.

im gonna say Ttar too. it is practically impossible to counter Ttar because there are so many effective sets that he can run. while hippodawn could counter the dragon dance variant, he would get wrecked by tyraniboah with ice beam. even moreso, no one really counters tyraniboah and he can kill a stall team with so much ease that it isn't even fair.

on the other hand garchomp can be stalled more easily and can be outpredicted quite easily (at least for me, mamoswine comes in on the sword dance)

have any of you ever tried asking for duels where 600 total base stats pokemon arent allowed? It would be a travesty to even consider them near uber; but duels without them can be fun because when you pretend the 600s are uber; certain quirky BLs become more common (like smeargle dont laugh >.>) Whenever i ask for a duel without the 600 monsters, i get flamed by 13 year olds who say i cant beat them any other way (i just say they cant win any other way). The 600 clause... could it become common? who knows

Of course it's not very common, we have the bar raised above base 600s for a reason, it's enjoyable for a larger number of people. That and there's a huge stigma against the "lol no legendaries" people.

yea its debatable if there is a right or wrong here, which is why 600s could be an optional tier requested to have or exclude before a fight- the issue is that the people who complain about stuff not being uber never concider making a sub-tier in between the two, and are often so juvenile and whiney about it that noone takes them seriously (and rightfully so.) even considering a duel where i dont have to worry about tyranitar, garchomp, and salamence getting in my way is confusing enough, as i dont know wtf else to defend against (breloom and gyrados maybe)

People talk about Tyranitar's "versatility", but I have only ever seen two kinds on Shoddy: CBTar and Boah.

Personally I feel that pokemon like Raichu, Lucario, and Mismagius are way more threatening than anything on this poll, just because nobody expects them.

well scarftars exist too and they are very powerful as well, but thats aside from the point. CBtar and Boah are both EXTREMELY dangerous pokemon that have different counters. many pokemon cannot break Tyranitars subs and that right there is one dead pokemon.

also, how can you possibly say that a raichu is more dangerous than a tyraitar, what can it do that cannot be done better by anyone else (gengar or raikou etc.)??

For your first question, every team will carry one if not two Tyranitar counters, but the only common Raichu counter is Cresselia (and even then, if it's a sub/encore version Cresselia is screwed). I don't really get your second question though, Gengar and Raikou don't make very good CB users and they can't use Nasty Plot.

I think that sounds great. You have no idea what you're up against, because so many other stuff are suddenly usable.

From this list, I'd say MixApe is probably the most dangerous. While not widely used on Shoddy due to its frailility, MixApe runs through teams like nobody's buisiness.

Gengar to. I have no idea why Gengar isn't on this list, as he most definatly deserves a spot if Skarmory and Starmie are here.

I think the most threatening one is the one that is jacked with hacks.

Couldn't resist, since he made that atrocity.

Anyways, I picked tauntdos. All the guys on this list scare me not but tauntdos makes me cry. I hate him more than I hate rap.

I have to say Metagross. I dont know what it is, but every team I make seems to be Metagross weak (damn ice types and their steel weakness)

I voted Garchomp. The choices you have up there are kind of weird..I mean, Garchomp and Starmie on the same list...? I hate Garchomp, but yeah, hes the most dangerous threat out there. I would have picked Salamence, as Salamence has higher Attack and Sp. attack, but Garchomps +2 higher base speed changes it all.

Charizard should be on that list. Belly-Drumming Charizard can single-handedly take out a team.

Well, any Pokemon is easy to destroy if you have it's weaknesses written down, and have your whole entire team ready to counter it. Garchomp is dead if Ice Beam touchs it (forget Ice Beam, Ice Shard). Any Pokemon is easy to destroy.

Its all opinion. I myself think T-tar is the most deadly, metagross is up there too. Garchomp is prolly the most OU right now though, there seems to be a craze going around.

I put the poll and the choices up there since I have seen a lot of starmies lately. Also charizard is easy to destroy!
Acutally i've used CSzard and it can be just as devastating as CSmence. I know mence has a 210base attack only resisted by one type but once zards blaze activates, which is easy because of SR popularity, its fire blast becomes more powerful then dracometeor and there is no sa drop. Late game this can tear worn down teams apart.

Threatening:Mence
You're just saying that because he has Intimidate. :*

They're very similar. Same base speed, just give him HP Ground to get rid of Heatran and you're in the money. Granted instead of Ice Beams it's Stone Edges you're looking out for...

Oh well, Aerodactyl is rarely used anymore and everyone has ice beam for fear of Chomp. Enjoy it before it becomes common!

NO! Charzard learns foucus blast for heatran, hidden power grass, fireblast, dragon pulse is the set i use.

Charizard FTW. Hes my favorite Pokemon lol :D

And the Belly-Drumming set should not be ignored! If used right, it can do some serious destruction.

I absolutely cannot stand 70% accuracy and Heatran is extremely predictable.
HP Grass is somewhat useless since FireBlast/Overheat does so incredibly much with Blaze.

Dragon Pulse is a decent 4th attack to cover up for Dragon's fire resist, true.

Fuck yeah, but ttar is 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times better.

hello swampert? gyarados last time i checked the list they were more popular than heatran and your wasting a hole move set just to kill one thing where if you used focus blast you get a better type coverage, and a better hidden power on charizard than silly old hp ground.
