What is the weirdest battle moment you have faced...

Sorry if there is already one of these, please point me to it if there is one and lock this thread.

Anyways... I had one of my sweepers (don't really remember who) out against a breloom. Without noticing that the poison was hurting it, i hit it, where it barely survived...and got paralyzed by Effect Spore, where it 2HKo'ed me and i lost the match... He blamed it on Move to Front reseting abilities.

Sorry if this isn't too wtf...but what has happened to you...

I always end up having freaking ice punch instead of ice beam on my slobro. (who I nicked slobros before hoes)

On a more pokemon relevant note for some reason Ive encountered multiple instances of being frozen solid, defrosting instantly, and freezing my opponent back on a double ice beam turn. @_@

In one battle, using my Sand Storm team on shoddy, I sent out my Gliscor. It must have been at least 20 times in a row during a stall war, and I was thinking to myself, "Crap, I forgot to change the ability". I go to check, and it WAS indeed Sand Veil. Just my luck.

I shouldn't complain, sweeping a team with an uber haxxy Heatran on shoddy (every other hit was either a critical or had a secondary effect), which of course pissed off the opponent, haha.

And I know what you mean with the wrong moves on Shoddy. I always mix up things like Ice Fang/Ice Beam, Earthquake/Earth Power, and so many others. It gets quite annoying, and sometimes I don't even notice I picked the wrong move, and I think to myself, "How the hell is he surviving my attacks!?"

And possibly for my opponent, a double switch with Gallade, who I knew had Fire Punch, and Bronzong. He ended up using Hypnosis, but I had Lum Berry, and I used hypnosis on him. It was quite humourous, especcially when I exploded on and 1HKO'd his main sweeper switch-in XD

lost one the other day on shoddy because some guy actually put defense iv's on his gengar so pursuit from my weavile didnt kill it

Hmm... Weirdest moments...
One battle I fought a Rhyperior with all Special Moves, and in the end he sent out Deoxys. It was outspeeded by a really slow Pokémon of mine and resultantly OHKO'd. I was dumbfounded.

As for wrong moves, once I was set to win a match with my CursiRock, but I gave it Thunder Wave over Thunder Punch AND I forgot to give it a last move... TT_TT

When I switched Weezing in on a Weavile only to have it take 50%+ damage from a Life Orb'ed Blizzard. Literally my jaw hit the floor on the that one, who in their right mind would invest that many EV's into Sp. Atk on Weavile?

the weirdest thing i have ever done
swept an entire team in under two min via ninjask batton pass to sashed jolly ramparados. i couldnt believe that nubish technique worked so damn well.

the weirdest thing i have had done to me
i faced a volt tackle, extream speed infernape once. it didnt last long enough to use its other moves. to bad, they where prob draco meteor and leafstorm or some shit.

I swept a team with a Butterfree and Onix.

The kid I played didn't know I play sleep clause. So he kept switching pokes, expecting me to sleep them. Butterfree just crippled the whole line, and Onix swept 3 pokes in a row with Earthquake. Choice Band w00t.

The weirdest moment for me would have to be all the way back in Pokemon Stadium. In the one gym battle against Blaine, my Mewtwo got frozen by his Chansey's Ice Beam, and back then Freeze never wore off. So it went on and on until like what, turn 80 something Mewtwo finally unfroze and I was able to win.

I hadn't slept one night (I pulled an all-nighter) and didn't have hardly any food in the 24 hours of that time (sometime in October 2007). My friend wanted to try a team on me he had been planning for months. I was like 'sure'. Bad idea. I ended up using Earthquake on a Skarmory because it was 'Roosting', but it was slower and I didn't realize it for quite a few turns, it was stalling me quite well even when I used another move (I kept on getting Critical Hits, but it was worthless since the move was physical.....). Then I was told to air the video I made of the battle. Not my happiest moment.

Lesson learned: Get Sleep, then battle.

*person sends out Staravia*
Person: Don't laugh, I'm better than you think!!

I continued to 6- 0 him using just Blissey and Yanmega (Who is my starter)

I'm not sure if I have an extremely hilarious moment. Lately, everytime a Blissey comes in to wall my special attacks, it's screwed by CH's or status infliction. I found that odd.

Probably the most bizzar event I had was when I was testing a team of mine a while back, when I made that stupid HP Fire Magnezone mistake of mine. I ended up getting into a stall war with Hippowdon, and eventually the other person disconnected. Understandable. Then he proceeded to accuse me of hacking because my Hippowdon always outsped his. I told him it was likely due to the fact that I put the 4 last EVs in speed, something any smart player would do. He replied with a big "NOOOO", saying he invested speed EV's to outspeed Tyranitar. Some people are just sore losers even if they never lose.

Probably the funniest moment I've ever had was when somebody used Taunt on my Gengar, and it CHed/Special Defense downed/paralyzed his entire team to death; literally every move had some sort of hax attached to it. By the way that goes to show why people need to run Blissey.

<opponent> sent out Aerodactyl!
Kamikaze Korean sent out Staraptor!
Staraptor used Close Combat! (Scarfed)
Aerodactyl used Taunt!

Why on earth would you taunt a Staraptor?

I also love seeing my opponent WTF at Sing Marowak. Never gets old.

Some guy had a Skarm against my Mr.Mime and since I didn't get the Calm Mind I needed to OHKO with Thunderbolt, I just used the attack and hoped for the best. This is a rough transcript:

"Skarmory used Roar!"
"Soundproof blah blah"
chrisisme:why no whirlwind
player:it's illegal with drill peck and i hate cheating
chrisisme:no it's not fearow and staraptor or something can get it
player:he can't breed with staraptor
chrisisme:uh i'm pretty sure that's how he gets brave bird too.
player:damn shoddy people always cheating with skarmory
chrisisme:uh, anyway...
"Mr. Mime used Thunderbolt!"

i can't remeber any wierd battles but whenever i EV train in defense and i use my lv 100 rayquaza's hyper beam, the lv 47 steelix lives. very odd i think.

i beat red's level 73 espeon with a level 37 umbreon...in gold

show's why type coverage is important

other than that

i had a glaceon at 27% left against an opponents glaceon at 100%

i ran specs, he ran tears

i had the 252/252 spread, i don't know what he had

i hit him with blizzard for something like...53%, he misses with shadowball

i hit him again and win
