What was the worst damage inflicted upon any of your games, by yourself or anyone?

My step father confiscated all my game systems once and when I brought them out he threw them against the wall. My SNES was destroyed (good thing I had spare). He then picked up my Gamecube and smashed it on the ground repeatedly and forcefully ripped off the disc cover. (I managed to reattach it, GC still works.)

Another time my step father was raging at my step brother and he broke the closest thing within his reach. My Gameboy Advance SP. Snapped it in half.

Another time he smashed my N64 against the edge of a desk until it broke because I doubted his sincerity when threatening to break it.

Another time he raged and said he was going to smash all my games. I quickly hid them all before he reached my room, but then realized I had left one game lying out: The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. Crushed by a sledge hammer.

This doesn't really count as wrecking per se but my brother and I would get angry with eachother and delete eachothers game saves, one time just to be a prick he deleted my ps1 memory cart. Little did he know that I had just passed the stage that we had both been trying to beat on some mickey mouse disney game for ps1.

He hugged me and made me a hot chocolate

Hmm, My games usually stay in tact, only thing that has happened was I accidentally knocked down my DS lite and jammed the volume thing.
 
Yeah, I guess. He's just a hot head. My brother and I were both immature brats at the time too.

DSlites are basically the popstations of the handhelds. The hinges on those things break so easily making the screen super flappy. I think I might buy a DSi or a DS phat because my hinge broke a while back.
 
Smashed my wireless controller with a hammer.

Also, idk where my memory card is (Gamecube). I think he threw it away.

My dad made me giveaway my Super Nintendo to a struggling family... than bought be an N64. That's about it.
 
My mom ripped the wire of my PS2 controller from my hands and the entire PS2 fell off the table it was on and broke into tiny bite size pieces.
 
My dad snapped my Spyro game in half one time, but that was because I threw it at my little brother's head like a ninja star (resulting in 5 stitches).

Smogon isn't smashboards and I hope it never becomes like it either.

I've never had a gamecube controller suddenly break. Most things nintendo make except the n64 controllers joystick and the dslites are made out of nintendium so they don't break. Hopefully they'll mine some more and not make products that fall apart.
 
My little brother pushed our old big ass TV down on the floor and made an even bigger crack in it (the floor). He also crushed two unoriginal Nintendo64 controllers. In retroperspective, not a big lose, but I really loved those controllers:pirate:.

This was 6-7 years ago, all because I didn't want to play F Zero X with that little brat!

The same brother also threw up on half of my Nintendo 64 game collection, which luckily survived it, but my shiny Vaporean card and Donald comics did not... But that's another story

Fixed. I'd like to think I'm pretty skilled. Oh! That reminds me. One of my N64 controllers was completely destroyed by my little brother, who cut off the cord thinking that it looked like a spaceship.
 
One day when i go shopping for a while, then when i go home my GBA is full of ants, i mean they are inside and outside, but it's now fine and it made me hate ants especially because they got inside my ear once i was sleeping.
 
LOL i love this thread.
Anyway I god pissed at Xbox Live and I headbutted the controller so hard that the buttons fell out and i had to get stitches in my forehead.
Pretty embarrassing :(
 
i've broken 2 gc controllers, 1 tv (with one of those controllers), 1 ps1, 1 gba, and 3 dc...the 2 controllers and the gba were from me randomly flinging them when frustrated, the ps1 and one of the dcs was from we me lifting my hands in accomplishment (think hiro's "yatta") with the controller still in hand, pulling the system off their perch to their untimely death (they were next to each other). another dc died durring a power surge, and the last one died when i brought it over to a friends house in my bookbag and stupidly threw the bookbag against the wall when i got back home.

Come to think of it, I broke/fixed an old N64 controller back in the day. The joystick wsa jammed, so I threw it off the wall. The joystick unjammed, but the D-Pad fell out. >.>
 
I never really broke anything, even though i threw them around a lot.
But i remember i used to drop my gba sp frequently, resulting in a very scratched cover :)
