There's one thing which I think was above my level in this battle and that's how Corruptodile predicted that Roobushin had Iron Fist - seriously, could this be explained further? Corruptodile was certain that it had Iron Fist. I would have thought about Iron Fist but decided that it's too dangerous to risk a Guts, but once again, Corruptodile was certain that it was Iron Fist. How?

It boosts the power of his punching moves, so he could have easily done calcs to compare with the damage his attack did.

As much as I enjoyed the battle, both the complete walling of your Reuniclus and the Darmanitan misplay were disheartening. A decent battle with good formatting and commentary to rival some of the best warstories on site made it fun to read. 8.5/10

I liked it. The battle was quite interesting, as were the comments of both of you, which explained your thought processes nicely. However, I still agree there was hax to some extent (too many full paralyses, 25% chance is not that big) but thankfully didn't influence the result in the end.
EDIT: The misplay with Darmanitan was also bad, but the rest of it made up for this.

Such a good story. The present-tense of the commentary got me into it, and I ended up rooting for both sides because the battle was good. The paralyzation was so unfortunate, but the constant comments of "Darn, but okay:" were worth it - it's a reminder to me not to get frustrated when I get outpredicted or make a misclick or misplay.

When he switched in a hihidaruma on a starmie, that can imply that he's goin gto choise-scarf U-turn to something that can take a surf, damaging Starmie for free - since he was using a choice band, he may have hoped that Starmie would switch out to avoid something faster than it (Which would be... Yomi layer four? I'm not sure).

Also: If I read correctly, because he u-turned in Conkeldurr, that meant that no status move that Sableye had would land on him (because the move would go first and affect Thundurus). If he was running Guts, and had likely expected a WoW from sableye, he would have switched Conkeldurr in normally, thusly subjecting him to the WilloWisp.

Any momentum lost by not volt-switching would be negated by giving his Roobushin an automatic strength boost. As this was not the play made, it seems simple


At least, this is my assumption. If both of those are true, I think this one deserves a 10/10. The unfortunate hax was dealt with and overcome, which shows a very high level of persistence in the battler, and something that's inspiring.

If those were wild guesses or misplays on the parts of guessing Conkeldurr's ability and playing Darumaka, it's probably an 8.5 or 9.

Very nice warstory, there were some quality predictions and mindgames going on and all backed up by good explainations.

Though I have to say could be edited for brevity in parts. Zapdos cleanly 2HKOes with Thunderbolt with no possible drawbacks to using it, that doesn't require 3 lines to explain your thoughts.

I loved this story. The prediction of him using an Iron Fist Roobushin and not using the typical guts was amazing. The predictions were spot on and I'm glad that this post will ensure the story will stay with me :)

Man The para-hax... that was crazy! OvO I really can't wait till I post a Warstory this one was fun all I have to talk about are my many Local battles and some random battles (to be honest 4 battles) I am waiting till I can actually get a wi-fi signal to experience these battles props to Corruptodile for using Sableye who is one of my many favorite Pokemon. 9/10
